I went in to look at a car, and couldn't even get the salesman to do his job! He would not even go ask a sales manager about a price. I was told the online price was as good as it got and they would not move. However they left the paperwork in the car from where they had sold it about a month ago for $300 less then the current price and it had 2000 less miles on it
Please know that they add almost $1,700 to the price of all used car prices listed on line. I called about a truck that was listed for $24,500. They confirmed that was the price. I drove an hour and a half to the dealerships to buy the truck. The truck was nice but when they gave me the price it was $27,500. I understand the taxes, tag and doc fees but they also added the $1,700 for what they call a care package. They said this must be included no matter what. I was frustrated because I was your this buy a friend before driving there so I called and the guy on the phone said that s simply not true . Just be aware and prepared to tack on $1,700 to all their used car prices. I m not sure about the price of their new cars. Also, I made a reasonable offer of $26,000 even after being lied to because I drove so far and liked the truck. The response I got was Pass and handed a business card.
I did love the place but the last time I went I needed two new tires and a oil change first off the time before they charged me when I was still under warranty supposed to get it free. 2nd it took them over 3 hours and when they did call I went to get my car and the service tire motor system light was on and the man at the desk said the technology had gone home. I tried to get this fixed and they tried to charge me to fix it and said the labor would be free. I refused. In the end I said forget my warranty I will not take it back there for service I'll just pay somebody else. No reason to set an appointment if my whole afternoon will still be spent waiting on two tires and oil change.
The salesman Garrett Smallst was very helpful. The floor manager, not so much. Went there to buy a $45,000 truck and they basically told me they would not take a $500 deposit to secure the pricing and the truck so that my daughter, who was in the military stationed in Puerto Rico, could buy the truck. What kind of business refuses a sale. We are moving onto either City Chevrolet in Charlotte or going back to Columbia to love Chevrolet. The finance manager or the owner need to step up their game at victory Chevrolet one
Awesome experience and loving my new truck! Never had an easier experience buying a vehicle with such a great deal. Garret Small is awesome at what he does and I d recommend anyone to him if you re wanting the best of the best. Thanks again Garret!
Waste of time, Jamie got me hyped up about a car that was to be clean with no issues, drove 1.5 hours to get there so that he can show me a car that hit something on the passenger side front bumper. He stated it was not there the day before. To think he wanted me to pay a deposit for the car without even looking at it or have it paid in full to get it delivered to my house.
Our experience buying our vehicle was about what you would expect at a car dealership. Everyone knows their main goal is to get you to walk away with a vehicle. The salesperson that we worked with, Erin, was great. We had great conversation, she was honest with us, and she even bought a wallet from us for her boyfriend (we own a handcrafted leather goods business).
The reason for our negative review is because of one of their sales managers, Dimitrios Leodis. He is everything you hate about car salespeople and fits the stereotype perfectly. We went through the proceedings, bought the truck, and were getting ready to head off when they only gave us one set of keys. We asked about a second key and he told us we had to wait three months. After that, we could come back and get a second key- if we came back before that, we would have to pay for one.
The 3-month mark passed, my husband went to pick up the second key, and met Dimitrios who said he never told us about a 3 month wait period and that we would have to pay. He the referred us to "his guy" who could give us 50% off of purchasing a new key.
After some research and calling around, we were informed by an insurance group, Zurich American Insurance that often works with Victory, that we are entitled to two sets of keys and that the sales manager was giving a load of bs, big surprise. After working with them, my husband also spoke to the VP of Victory, who CONFIRMED that they were telling customers about a 3 month wait period and then decided to change their minds about that policy.
In the end, Zurich met us in town, serviced a new set of keys for free and everything was complete.
We were very disappointed that instead of honoring the policy we were originally presented, Victory chose to lie to us after deciding that policy didn t work for them. It was such a poor way to handle the situation.
I purchased a car from this location on Feb 05 2019 my salesman was BOB, this was the worst experience I have ever been through when purchasing a vehicle. I show up at opening time 9am (The only customer in the building) never offered to test drive any vehicle, He made it seem like the only car I could see was the Cruz (Im 40 years of age not an option). He continued to tell me he was going to get keys for cars I wanted to drive but that never happened, I waited and waited still no car to test drive. It is now 1:00pm. Finally he says if i can put more money down I could get the cruz (I DO NOT WANT THE CRUZ!!!!) So I leave 5 min later he calls back and say that he can now pull up the car I wanted to TEST DRIVE if I just come back. Upset because I work third shift and have been up all night I drive all the way back up there. Now the car I was wanting to TEST drive is pulled up front.(Why now?) When I sit back at his desk I notice my documents have been bald up and thrown in the trash now un-balled and crinkled laying on the desk. Now I finally get to TEST drive the car. At this time I'm over it all. He tells me to go home and the car will be cleaned and ready at 6pm.. It is now 4pm. I go home and notice I do not have my floor mats in the car! so now I have to go back to find out the salesman is now off for the day. The next day I get A TEXT from Bob saying the mats are at the desk..WOW). Now today is Feb 20th and my bank still has not been contacted nor paid for the trade in! so now my credit score shows a late payment, and they are taking payments from my account due to Victory dragging their feet. I got the car on THE 5th! today is the 20th! NEVER go here, as an African American and a woman I feel they don't want you here, . STAY AWAY! UPDATE: 10:00am- Brandy called as she ate her breakfast in my ear and says she is cutting a check today 02/20/2019 and it should be at my bank by tomorrow :)
My experience with Victory Chevrolet was ABSOLUTELY HORRIFIC. I got there around 10am on 6/24/19 and had already had an appointment set with Garrett Small because I had started the buying process online. Everything went smoothly until I got into the finance persons office, his name was Mike Smith. His topic of conversation was so inappropriate, it made me feel very uncomfortable. I did not drive an hour and a half to hear about his daughters period and how she acts every month on her period. That is disgusting that he would even speak about her that way. Secondly, I later find out that Mike was supposed to tell me that I needed to go to my local county and pay the taxes on the new car I had just purchased, but he had failed to do so. The way I found out was by receiving a certified letter in the mail stating that they could not move forward with my title application unless the taxes were paid on the car. It would have been nice to know that while sitting in his office, instead of knowing what size tampon his daughter uses. When I had called Mike to ask him why he failed to inform me of the tax payment, he said oh sorry I should have told you. That's all I got from him which was very unprofessional. These are things that must be said to a customer in advance because not everyone can just go spend $500 in car taxes. Especially when your under the assumption that everything will be taken care of, not only by Garrett, but by Mike as well. The stick that broke the camel's back for me was as I was driving on the highway my steering wheel started to vibrate and so did my brake pedal. I called Victory Chevrolet and expressed my concern because my local mechanic said that these brakes were warped and completely rusted. So now I waste another day driving 1.5 hours to have these brakes fixed by you guys. As I am sitting waiting for my brake job to be finished the manager of the service department comes out and tells me that this car never went through his shop and was never inspected, he said the rotors were bent and it would have never passed inspection. So to top it all off, I was driving an ILLEGAL VEHICLE back and forth with my granddaughter in the car. What if something serious had happened? These things need to be triple checked before that car leaves the lot. Is everyone in that much of a rush to make a sale, that they don't care to check these things that could risk someone's life. Is a sale more important than someone's life? I don't believe it is. I would NEVER do business with Victory Chevrolet again because of the poor work ethic, poor attitudes, and the level of incompetence at this dealership.
My husband bought a Nissan Titan there a few weeks ago. The staff came off as nice. The salesman kept asking how long it had been since my husband had done something nice for himself. I thought maybe he was being nice and wanted to help him. Now I realize it was a scam to sell him a truck. They would not work with us on the price and we really should have walked away but decided to stay. We really wish we had just walked away. They sold my husband an extended warranty that we were just told by Nissan this morning he didn't need. The truck was covered up to 100, 000 miles. So he bought an extended warranty for $3800 that will only cover 25,000 miles. The reason we spoke to Nissan was because the air conditioning didn't work when the truck came to a stop. They had to be aware that was an issue. I do not recommend this place to anyone.
Victory Chevrolet has a great selection of Vehicles at a great price, whether I am browsing their website for deals, or keeping up with the prices, and selection, Victory Chevrolet is the place to buy a car. And who can forget Mike Stickley he radios in the deals. Great Job, great prices, great atmosphere, great customer service, great advice, keep up the good work.
Walked into Victory with little hope on getting a vehicle. My salesman Garrett Small was great and really did his best. Listened and was a great guy to work with. He jumped through hoops and did all he could and got me into the car of my dreams. I didn t think it was possible but Garrett made it possible. A huge shout out to him and his team on helping me get into a car that I am happy with and in love with.
I have purchased a vehicle from Victory, as well as had service done there afterwards. All transactions with the dealership have been well above my expectations. After buying my car, I took it to Walmart 4000 miles later to get oil changed. When it was pulled into Walmarts bay, the tech told me the oil pan drain plug was put in cross threaded/wrong from the dealer, and he wouldn't feel comfortable taking out the plug. I called Victory and asked if they would take it a look at it and consider fixing it if need be and they said yes they would review and make it right most likely.
When they looked it over, they told me that the threads were fine, and the issue the tech thought he had seen was actually sealant they use on the plus to prevent long term leaking, and the plug was in perfect condition. So overall, got a super quick diagnosis, good report, free loaner, and cheap oil change!
Terrible experience. I recently was involved in an accident that resulted in a total loss. I have been car "shopping" ever since. I had several different cars in mind and just wanted to go check them all out/test drive a few. The lady I spoke with over the phone told me this wouldn't be a problem and she would have the cars waiting out front for me when I got there. Once we arrived no one even knew who I was (I made an appointment), the sales rep informed me that I would only be able to test drive 1 car max. due to covid. I was given an attitude by a sales rep and manager because I was intrested in more than 1 vehicle. We proceeded to at least go look at the cars and test drive 1. Most of the used cars were all beat up, some with light hail damage, paint splatter, road rash, large dents and scratches, interior damage, etc. Compared to other dealerships their prices are much higher. We decided to test drive 1 and the battery was dead, the tire air was low, the brakes were grinding, and the CV axle was knocking so bad we decided not to leave the parking lot with it. I am so disappointed in the disrespect and attitudes we recieved. Worst car buying experience ever.
The worst.. Had an appt to have my vehicle service. My appt was at 8:30 , arrived at 8:27, sat until 9:00am. I mention about issues I was having on my vehicle and I felt ambush by the person checking me and another tech.I notice the tech move my car to allow cars that came in 20 min after me go head and get service. The worst customer service experience ever.
In may of 2019 I purchased a 2019 Chevy Spark. Everyone at Victory Chevrolet went above and beyond to make sure I felt safe and happy. Rhonda and Doug were amazing and so so sweet.
In the year I have owned my car I ve been on countless Adventures! The memories unforgettable.
I highly recommend Victory Chevrolet to anyone in the market for a car.
Thank you so much to Rhonda, Doug and Mr. Gandy for the absolute best car shopping experience and for helping me find the best car for me.
Had a few things done. Was really disappointed in the oil change. Got home and noticed that the oil sticker still was the old one. Checked my gages and it still read that the oil life was 54%. Called the dealer and they explained to me how to change the oil life. it did not work. They said well bring it back in and we will take care of it. So I will take it back in on Sat, tomorrow, and see what the outcome is.
Great transaction! Best prices anywhere. I drove 3 1/2 hours to get there and it was so worth it. Absolutely love my barely Used Suburban. Two vehicles I chose washed and ready for me to see. Thanks Jesse (sales)and Mike (finance- got amazing rate)
Great experience. More the salesman was fantastic! Purchased a 2019 Camaro SS. Had actually gonna to another Charlotte Chevy dealer that wouldn't let me test drive their SS. I'm 50 years old and never had a dealer tell me I couldn't test drive a car unless I proved I could afford it. Anyway their loss. Victory Chevrolet was great!
I went to Victory Chevrolet Charlotte today in search of a bigger vehicle for my family. I was pre-approved by my bank prior to coming in. The dealer swore he could beat the bank and talked me in to letting him pull my credit. Of course they came back asking for money down. We ended up with no car and lower credit and they are not willing to work a deal. I am highly disatisfied with the service provided. Please do NOT waste your time. Try Parks Chevrolet instead!!!!
Tim was very helpful in shopping for and selecting s new vehicle. Victory has a huge car lot - their inventory is quite impressive. Tim was very willing to drive out numerous vehicles from their inventory to take a look at. It never seemed like a chore. Very clean place.
I brought my car in for a noise in the rear. I was told by Jason that the car may need an alignment or rear diff service. The car has 4600 miles and when I asked him multiple times if the alignment or diff service was covered under warranty each time I was met with a no. Feeling like I was being lied to I did my own research with my warranty booklet and read it was covered under warranty. When I mentioned this to him, I hear him ask Sal, is alignment covered? All conversations with Jason were recorded and I have them if the General manager or service manager would like to listen.
Also, Rob the tech that worked on my vehicle and did do an alignment on my vehicle did not replace any of the torque to yield bolts when completing the alignment. This is a serious issue as the instructions specifically state to discard and not reuse TTY bolts as failure of bolts can occur. What happens if im on track and I have a failure? This was supposed to be my go to dealership for all my needs but that is no longer the case as the service department is a complete failure in all aspects.
We had a great experience with Garrett Small (our salesman) and Jammie Myers (Finance). They gave us a great deal for our 2018 Malibu. Don t hesitate to contact them for your car needs.
I'm extremely satisfied with treatment I get every time I come in . They make me feel that they are greatful I bought my vehicle from them . Service is quick and clean , touch all the bases . I will trust them with my next purchase . I recommend victory Chevrolet to everyone !
BEST car buying experience I've ever had go see Jay great guy. Jay is also very good with kids you know it's a good experience when a 7 year old wants to go back to play paper, rock, scissors with Jay great place, great people they have my business from now on.
I understand the low ratings that were given. The initial car "sales man" that we had was very kind and responsive. The notes on their pricing structure and inflation also turned out to be on point. The dealership added $3000 in straight revenue fees for themselves on top of the advertised sale price (not including tax and title) and said that their advertised price is their best price and they don't negotiate- but that price plus $3000 in dealer fees made the car we were there to look at fall well above all of the competitors we were looking at.
Victory Chevrolet has always been fair in pricing and cordial in service. I've purchased all of my vehicles from Victory since 2010 and each experience has been exceptional. Mark has been my sales consultant each time and he is a true professional. You can't ask for a better car buying experience!
I had the battery replaced as well as the other work, but the key fob was not re-set. When I brought the car back in they re-set the key fob straight away, without question. So it was a bit of an inconvenience to have to bring the car back, but it was attended to straight away.
I went to get my oil changed and tires rotated, as my car is still under the service warranty. It took an hour and a half, which is longer than I ve ever waited to have that done. (Overbooking much?) When I went out to get in my car and leave I saw 2 scratches on the backseat door (see pics). I asked what had happened and the person standing outside went and got the manager, who immediately offered to fix it. I asked if anyone was going to own up to it and he said he didn t know. The disturbing thing is that if the scratch had been on the passenger side I might not have noticed it for days, and by that point I wouldn t know where it had come from. I was able to go back 2 days later and it was completely fixed. I was also disappointed to find that they do not wash your car after servicing it, most dealerships do that.
I cannot say enough good things about the entire staff at Victory Chevrolet. Huge shout outs to Brandon, Ronda, Randy, Doug, Mike, and Bryce. There was NO pressure and I truly felt that everyone there only cared about making sure that I had a wonderful car buying experience. Thank you all so much for taking the best care of me. I highly recommend Victory Chevrolet!!
I had a great experience today. Everybody treated me like family. The finance department was really flexible in making sure I get the price I requested. I will recommend family and friends to Victory Chevrolet. G. Rand
Well..I must say that this is the best place ever to shop for a car...I was able to get a very very nice deal...well I walked in with a loan already for a car...needless to say..these guys was able to give me a better loan with better interest and more money... I didn't even have to put a lot of money down...our sales rep was wade..the sweetest person you could ever meet..he was patient..honest.. and he understood my situation... I love my car (2016 chevy impala) for this to be my very first car...I think I'm in love all over again..thanks wade..your the best
Giving them 4 stars because I don t think my salesman was very knowledgeable about my vehicle. We bought our vehicle in March. They misspelled my name and got my date of birth wrong, which delayed the process. I liked this vehicle so I was patient with them. Finance guy was very nice but I didn t like how they did unauthorized credit inquiries, when I specifically said Capital One only. Will consider them for our next vehicle.
We came from S.C. because of the great price offered online. It beat the other prices for sure. However, whatever price you see online be prepared to add another about $3,000 to the overall price. This includes the $1200 Victory Package you are forced to get. Also, it is best to have your own lender. I have great credit and was offered a high interest rate.
I called to make my appt. for routine service and when they entered my info they found there were two campaigns that needed to be completed. I was able to get everything completed in one visit.
It was a Victory for my husband and I when we purchased our Dodge 2500. From Cia on the phone, who made the first positive impression, to Rhonda who took us through the sales process and on to Mike in finance who made the mound of paperwork a fun process. Rhonda did a phenomenal job explaining and walking us through the purchase process. It sure was nice not haggling and being nicked and dimed. It is evident all the assocites we worked with love their jobs as their dispositions shine. I end my review with the word integrity. It is the integrity that my husband and I experienced through the entire process which made it easy to sign the documents and become truck owners.
The customer service was great. But i purchased my car in 2017 of May. The beginning of 2018 my transmission went out. I had an 2012 Cruze. I wouldn t recommend purchasing an used car from there I m not sure what went wrong but I m very great on cars all i do is go to work and my car only had 1 owner. I definitely felt like it was a Big lost for me.
My experience at Victory Chevrolet was nothing short of amazing!!! Joey was very helpful and took good care of me and my husband to make sure we got the best deal. Thank you!
I have purchased two vehicles from victory cheverlot. Just purchased a 2018 Chevy Silverado double cab On 2/12/19. Both times had great experience. Mike in sales came in on his day off to help finish out sale of vehicle. Great salesman. Thanks Mike.
Even though Victory didn't have the car I wanted. The sales rep took the time and showed me all the different vehicles I was looking at. I was very happy with Kyle's attitude and never felt pushed to make a decision on a vehicle. He knew I was trying to get a feel on the size SUV I wanted and he completely helped me achieve that task. Very impressed with the environment and the staff.
I moved here from out of state and have a fully warrantee Chevrolet. I took my vehicle in for a recall and service...Trever F. was awesome! He checked me in...had my services done quickly...made sure to let me know what I needed at my next appointment with cost and everything! Great dealership with great service!
Inquired about a vehicle online. Someone reached back out to me. I advised them texting was the best way to reach me. Their response was "texting just takes too long". Not sure why an internet sales person has an issue texting to work out a deal but ok.. Then I advised what we were looking for and he responded, "it would be the car plus $699.50 doc fee". I said that seems like a high doc fee since i'm paying for taxes myself, tag and everything else, His response was " I understand but that is what it is, would you like to proceed?". So at this point I realize i'm dealing with someone that has zero interest in selling me a car or answering questions, I ask what the best price would be for a particular vehicle we are looking at and he says " that is our lowest price". Which is great, but why even have a salesperson if your prices are marked as is, your doc fee is as is and nothing is to be negotiated?? I asked the gentleman this and his response was " I think that is a very good question, one I do not have an answer for, would you like to proceed??"
Complete bad attitude, and basically a job position that could be eliminated and I could just go to the dealership and do a self check out lane.
First of all let me say that my experience with my salesperson Robert Dellinger was a Great one. My beef is not with him. Little background , I have a disability/handicap ( prosthetic) > I purchased a 2020 Chevy Spark on Monday 12/16/2019. On the second day of owning the car I realized the leg room on the drivers side was not sufficient for my prosthesis to be able to drive comfortably with out considerable leg pain. I have tried different seat adjustments but to no avail. My issue is on the 12/18/2019 (2 days from purchase date) , I drove back to Victory Chevrolet after trying 5 different times trying to reach my sales guy ( not his fault). Keep getting passes around to different people, who I didn't need to talk to. Anyway after driving down to the dealership and explaining to Robert my issue, he asked me to have a seat and coffee while he went to speak to (I assumed his manager) . He came back a short time later and informed me they had informed him there was nothing they could do, I'm sure he explained to them my concern but I guess that didn't seem to matter.Going into this sale I had high regards for this dealership, but no more. I was told they had done the paperwork and finances so they could not do anything. Not sure I believe that but if I am stuck then I am stuck. Just for my own satisfaction I will probably check with other agencies ( ie. AARP ADA and others) to see if I have any other options.
Well after watching there commercials and calling them driving a hour its like all the rest the sales male was only in getting is higher payments and deeper in dept and sticking us in what they wanted.. No thanks..
I want to give a shout out to Garrett Small, very good customer service and great salesman. Sold me a 2019 GMC Canyon and knew what he was talking about. Now just go get some new cowboy boots.
Miserable experience from the time we walked in the door. We called before lunch time to set up a appointment for 7pm to test drive a SUV we found online. We set up an appointment with a salesman named Doug and that the vehicle would be out front waiting on us to look at when we arrived. Once we showed up we were informed that Doug had not been at work all day. Once a salesman finally came around to meet with us he informed us that the vehicle we had drove an hour and a half to see is currently being showed to another customer. He then asked if we wanted to speak with a manager and we did. Once the manager came out he informed us that the vehicle had been sold a hour before we showed up. We had received a confirmation text with the appointment time and also called when we were about 20 minutes away letting them know we was running early. I would highly recommend you doing your business elsewhere.
Great experience here. We worked with Ola and traded in my wife s car and got a great deal on a 2019 Elantra. Ola was fantastic, didn t try to talk us into anything we didn t want.
The car we purchased was used, so the dealership kept in the the same condition it was received in so that we can see how the previous owner treated it. Then after we decided to buy it, they detailed the inside and washed it, including the engine bay, so we got to drive home in a sparkling clean car.
We accidentally forgot to get our garage door opener out of the old car and Ola was nice enough to mail it to us overnight.
What a joke! Don't believe the sticker price! They had almost $2,500 in fluff fees over sticker. They have something called a Victory protection plan that is mandatory to fix dents and lifetime inspections. It's $1,700. Why do I need a plan on a used car that had scratches and a few dents already. It is only mentioned in fine print on their website, and never is the $1,700 mentioned. Not a Victory here just lossed business!
I have thoroughly enjoyed my time spent doing business with the sales staff at Victory Chevrolet. The best thing was that our interest were their priority.
The sales rep was the most helpful and informed I've ever met The reason I chose Victory is I have dealt with them before and the total experience was very good They met and exceeded my expectations this time too.
Went to other dealerships before I went here and can honestly say I wish I went here 1st. Garrett Small made the purchase fun and easy. He is a great salesman and the process was fast and easy. Would definitely purchase from them again especially with Garrett. Thank you so much for the easy process.
Everyone we came in contact with at Victory was above and beyond expectations. Great customer service , unbelievable selections available. Our sales representative Tim was the best. He was so helpful and patient. We have told everyone we know from N.C. to N.Y. to check out the exceptional deals and to ask for Tim!!! Thanks for our car.
My dad was in the car business for 50 years. Consequently I spent a lot of time in the dealerships that he worked in and owned. I sort of always got special treatment since dad was "in the business". My dad passed in'09, so I have had to deal with dealers as a regular consumer. But I find these guys at Victory and suddenly I get that special treatment again. They truly know how to treat a customer. I live about 2 hours from their dealership. But I will be their customer again. It's worth the drive. Doug took exceptional care of me and my wife. Bryce and David know that customer service is not out of style.
They sold me a truck that had prior damage. Was not forward about the truck being repaired. Refused to acknowledge the situation. Basically said $28,000 dollars was cheap for a person. I m very dissatisfied with the service. The company. I m very disappointed and will never use them again!!!!!!
Highlights: friendly and patient staff; hardworking; pleasant environment; individualized time and care.
I was pleasantly surprised with the staff at Victory Chevrolet. Upon arrival I was offered free beverages and ice cream. The salesman was with me and showing me the cars I was interested in pretty quickly (and it was obvious they were very busy). Test driving the vehicles I wanted was a breeze. The salesman even drove us to the other location to look at cars. The whole drive there he was making pleasant conversation. Upon purchasing my vehicle the monthly payments were too high, but my salesman worked really hard to get them into a more manageable range. I am pleased with how accommodating he was and I could tell he genuinely cared about helping me get what I wanted. I felt little pressure from them to get something I wasn t 100% sure about or couldn t afford. I would recommend victory Chevrolet to any family or friends I have. The people were friendly and patient with me. 10/10!
