I met Al at the Bridal Show in Cleveland. I was highly interested in renting Zues for my wedding in September. I was told my date was open and that the bus was on hold for me until Monday. I called to confirm I wanted the bus, and his cousin told me my date was already booked!!! They do not seem very reliable based on the customer service I had, and all of these reviews! Before you call, make sure what you want is actually available, or you'll be in the spot I am in. I am glad I did not book with them. I would be furious if they canceled the day of like some of these other people!!
Have had to use safe and reliable for a few months to get back and forth to work. They are literally always late, and ways have an excuse. Dispatchers get rude and nasty when just asking where your ride is at. They are always "running behind" or "having issues with only a few drivers." I just had to use them today after 6 months because my car broke down and it is still the same story. My ride is late and they "only have two drivers." I would rate a zero if it was possible. Reliable is so not the word for this company. Safe isn't the best one either.

My mom and i just took a limo to see the Phantom of the Opera in Cleveland last week. The limo was beautiful, our driver was so quick to pick us up from dinner and make sure we where on time! Very nice experience, I highly recommend them!

Got a caresource ride from them they took me to my appointment an when done I called to go home and veteran showed up in called again an no show they said someone will be there right away an no one showed this is the worst cab service ever
Provide a Ride contracted out with these fools. I stayed awake all night to be ready for an early morning pickup. They never showed. Insisted they did and the call went to voicemail. I don't have voicemail on my phone and I tried it out and it rang just fine. Missed an important appointment. Thanks for nothing.
I only have good things to say about Safe and Reliable! The people there were great to deal with. Ive rented a limo from them several times and everytime its exceptional always. I don't know how anyone could write negative reviews about them expect for the fact that they are all about the taxis. Just so ppl know, the taxi and limo dept are 2 completely separate departments.
I only gave one start because zero stars can't be done. My sister had a reservation placed, and paid in full for a limo for her wedding. Fifteen minutes before the scheduled pick up they called and cancelled because they would rather drive drunk kids back and forth from Roverfest. Would not answer phone calls placed later that day. Completely unprofessional. They care more about profit than customer service.
O NOT USE THEM! Safe and reliable? What a joke!! Their name itself is a complete lie! I booked limo with them on January 16, 2015 for my July 18 wedding. The contract was signed and paid in full. They were to pick me and my bridal party up at 1:30 pm to take me to my 2 o'clock wedding ceremony. Then take us from the church to our picture locations and finally, back to our reception. They called me at 1:15 to tell me they were going to be at least an hour late. When I asked why they responded that they were busy with Roverfest. THEY NEVER SHOWED! I and my bridal party had no ride to my wedding because everything was coordinated for the limo! I was late to my own wedding because they didn't even show up! I called multiple times to the driver, owner, and company phone- no response still! I paid $800 for a limo that didn't show! I hope this never happens to another bride on her wedding day. Think hard before choosing "safe and reliable"
its my third day of work I scheduled my ride ahead of time and I get a call they running late now I'm worried I will lose the job I tried so hard to get
I would rate this service as zero stars if it were possible. Requested a cab and was quoted "about an hour" and maybe a little more since they were so busy. Three hours later without them bothering to courtesy call (and despite two calls *to* them saying they were "on their way" or that I was next), and I just went with Uber instead.
If you need cab service in Elyria, do avoid this place. More headache than you likely care to deal with.
The only thing safe and reliable about this company is the fact that anyone with somewhere to go can safely rely on it being absent. My friend needed a cab from Oberlin to Elyria at 7:00 so she could catch a bus to Cleveland. She called to let them know a day in advance, and yet here we are an hour later - still waiting. I suspect we will be well into the presidency of Kanye West by the time this taxi decides to show up, the driver aged 1000 years with a long flowing grey beard. How hard is it to show up? Showing up is literally 99% of the job. If God had bestowed me with a car, I would have gladly driven the entire 15 minutes to the bus station. But we are not all so safe or reliable as our favorite taxi service. One day, I will fall in love with a perfect man who betrays our marriage of ten years with my sister, and yet I will be less disappointed in love than I am in this service.
These guys were great! Booked them for my wedding last October and couldnt have been more pleased. I booked a party bus and shuttles. Jimmy and his crew are very professional and easy to work with. Carl was our driver and he was AWESOME! John was our shuttle driver and called to make sure everyone had been picked up and taken to and from the hotel/venue. I highly recommend Safe & Reliable for their special day.

That s exactly what happened a driver called him out on how I was done wrong and he hides!! I have personally text and called and nothing in return!! Doesn t inform the correct rate of pay, and definitely very unprofessional!!! Pay Up!! The position I was put in was very dangerous!!!

We paid to have a limo for our wedding for five hours. It showed up on time but it was a piece of junk!!! Tape used to repair some of the interior, the radio did NOT work at all, there was a constant loud beeping noise in our ears, they provided a bottle of champagne but it wasWARM...no ice at all. It was the worst part of our wedding day. The limo ride should be a fun time of celebrating in between events and it was terrible and no one wanted to be in there, esp with NO MUSIC. We informed them about our experience and all they said they could do was give us another limo for five hours....um, sorry we aren't getting married again and we went to prom 10+ years ago - we don't need another limo ride - esp. from this place! Customer beware...the pictures they have of the cars is not always what they send you!!!

We had 12 people for a Cavs game and they upgraded us to a stretch navigator with all the extras at no update. Great time but the difference was in the service from the moment i contacted them -- friendly and accomadating!

I went to buy a used limo from them and it could not even drive. I was told it ran and drove fine. I drove two hours to find the steering wheel and steering gears were seized up and the driveshaft was about to fall apart. What a waste of time. After talking to the owner and addressing the issues he did not seem phased by it. This tells me they knew these issues were present and still lied to me and wasted my time, gas, and wear and tear coming to see it. I would not do business with them due to how they take care of their equipment.

Both Rob and Roger are great to work with. Rob has been working with my on my wedding transportation and was so quick to give me a quote over the phone and asked me questions about why I was in need of a limo so he could give me his recommendations. He took the time to discuss my options and pricing and assured me I was getting the best deal for what was needed.
They have also shown up with the correct limo/bus, always on time and have always had a professional and friendly staff!

Called 1 day in advance for ride to the airport . Locked in a time . Called back to confirm time of pickup. They assured me twice they would be there . Well guess what they never showed up. I called and got no answer. I jumped in my car and drove myself. Parking in the long term lot at 18 bucks per day .
They cost me close 150 in fees for parking .

Used this company over 4 times for concerts and my friends birthday. Down to earth workers and one of the best when it came to details I've used with good pricing.
Let's start at the beginning. They were 40 minutes late and didn't bother calling to let us know. We reserved a SUV limo and surprised when a party bus with a stripper pole showed up. This was for a wedding btw. The interior was littered with dirty solo cups and there were chunks of something on the stripper pole. Then the driver had no clue how to get from Hampton inn Elyria to Lakeview park. I would not recommend this company for anything.
They make you wait too long when you are ready to leave and they get you their way too early.
we called at the last minute to reserve a limo for a one-way drive for a 50th anniversary party on a Sat night. The first company we called said we would never get a limo at such short notice and said we would be charged a 4 hr minimum if we did find one. I am glad I didn't give up, because Rob, with Safe and Reliable not only said he had a limo available for us, he allowed us to pay for just one hour on a Saturday evening. The limo was very clean, driver very prompt, and my parents enjoyed the ride immensely to their anniversary party. We would definitely recommend safe and reliable for future limo rides! They were most professional and always in communication with us! We appreciated it greatly!

Highly recommended for anybody taking the wee-hours Amtrak to/from Elyria. Safe & Reliable showed up not just on time but a few minutes early, in the middle of the night, on two occasions this weekend. Not only did the taxi show up at the "station" as promised, but--even more impressive--when I called dispatch at 3 AM to let them know my train was running an hour behind, the woman said, "Oh honey, we know, we're tracking it." Professional operation here. That middle-of-the-night Amtrak to/from Elyria is always something of an ordeal, but Safe & Reliable taxi made it secure and stress-free. I know I may sound like I'm shilling for them, but honestly, I was just nervous about making the connections and very grateful that these folks came through.
Twice I had Dr. appointment scheduled through Provide a Ride. The first time I was about 5 minutes late. The last time they had shown up at the time I was to be in the Dr. office. Both times I was told that the owner/boss came in and made them do other trips first. This owner needs to take care of those people that are on the drivers schedule first, thenhave them pic up others. If you have a business, then learn how to operate it properly. I will never refer them to anyone ever. I understand and am glad my nephew left this company.
Safe and Reliable's service is top notch. I have been using this company for over a year for pick up and drops to Hopkins airport and have never been disappointed. They are always on time, friendly, and the cars are very clean. I would recommend them to anyone who wants great service at very reasonable prices.

Another unsatisfactory experience had to wait 3 months for specialist to see me and driver was late they refused to see me. I have been very ill for what seems forever. Unacceptable. Just because Medicaid pays for my rides doesn't mean I just want free government assistance some people genuinely cannot work. Fuel pump went out on my van. Single mother with 3 children. My kids depend on me to be healthy. Not the first time either. Pissed
This company should certainly remove Safe from their company name. Driving down Leavitt Rd. I was nearly hit by their big white bus with temporary tags. This bus was also speeding and plowed through a red light.
Came from France to see the Finals. I used Safe and reliable with my friends for travelling. Nice limo, nice party and good games !
Rude, Disrespectful and Very Unprofessional! Tried to Ruin my wedding, driver was more worried about going to the restroom then giving us professional reliable services that we paid for over a year and half ago! Got my guest telling me the driver was in the restroom snorting drugs on the sink counter, he ran through lights while speeding. Came in while my wife and I was getting pictures and cutting cake to ask if he could leave early after getting caught by a guest with drugs in the restroom! My wife spoke to owner who was falsely accusing our guest of false accusations...which was all the truth, what is there for our guest to benefit from it! Even our DJ said he was acting strange and was in the restroom twice in the 25 min he was only there for! My father told me the driver gave him the keys to the limo and told him to drive it if he wanted to! Then he also asked two of our other guest, as well! My wife has a complete timeline of the entire time the limo picked her up til he left! He was only at our reception hall for 25 min, a 40 min drive from our home to our ceremony only took him 25 min. He lost my mother and my mother in law on the way there. A 35 min drive to the reception hall from.our home only took him 20 min. My wife has it all written down! He put my wife, my family/guest and myself in danger!
The taxi driver showed up early. I was late, and the driver was courteous, pleasant, and willing to do what it took to make me happy, within reason. Opened doors, came to door and small talked about what I liked. Ask for Ryan Venus
I had booked the "Defender" from Safe and Reliable for a company holiday party. After being a bit jaded from a previous company, I was interested to see how Safe and Reliable would be. I arrived to our offices early (on purpose) to get everything situated for our day. I was so pleased when I saw that our bus was already waiting in the parking lot - 15 minutes early. Dave was personable, polite, respectful, and all around a great driver. He had every cord we needed to hookup our phones to play music. Safe and Reliable was great to work with. Phone was always answered and I always talked to a live person. They were great with confirmation and making sure they were prepared on their end for our holiday fun. I am BLOWN AWAY by the customer service I was shown from this company and plan on booking them again in the future for the company and for myself. I would recommend Safe and Reliable to friends and family anytime.
