I'm a little miffed at all the bad reviews here but my experience was polite, friendly and professional. I needed my ATAR score from years ago and 2 staff members were more than happy to help. Small fee, signed a form and confirmed my i.d and 5 mins later I was walking out with my certificate ; easy as. Thank you for the obliging service.
Extremely friendly staff and very understanding. Great customer service. Located close to domain tram stop and it's extremely easy to find locate it.

There are a few valuable staff at VTAC but my experiences overall are of complete incompetence.
The website is poorly organised and doesn t give you the information you need at all; on top of this when you telephone for help some of their employees have poor English language skills making it extremely difficult to understand them. My daughter missed out on submitting a key requirement of her uni application due to precisely these points: her tutors at the community college she was studying at could give her only limited advice because they themselves could not understand the VTAC requirements for her uni application as detailed on their web pages! So tired of government departments thinking they're in business to for no other reason than to sustain the jobs of their employees rather than customer service. VTAC need a few sackings and general shakeup.
Sever down almost every year. Rubbish system. UAC and SATAC is way better. Vtac needs to have a better IT support team. It feels so sloppy.
Similar background, apply for same course. I submitted application through VTAC in Nov, paid $55, still waiting for an offer. My friend applied directly to uni, paid nothing, received her offer in Nov. I tried her way then, uni replied that cannot accept my application as my records indicate that I am a current VTAC applicant. Now January round out, I still got nothing. Waste money and time, then get nothing! Well done!
Voice over the phone said to contact every university myself, admitting vtac had provided no help whatsoever rejecting even my Tafe applications, let alone uni applications.
The person still refused any refund.
Open before their opening time, quick, friendly service....other then the government standard overpriced document rate, was the best government department I've dealt with :)

Ok customer service, very bad general communication. Extraordinarily unfriendly to disability. Overall: nightmare.
Have to submit an applicatoin via VTAC so put in all the inforamtion, gathered over a number of hours (as they step you through the process) then go to submit and it says session expired. Log back in and all the information is gone. What a terrible system!
Absolutely terrible experience and waste of money. If you can apply directly through a university I would do it!

No where to park cheaply or closely but can't fault the building or staff. Quick service, albeit expensive for one reprint of A4 paper.
