Olympion Sunset 5* Hotel, Greece Review

Lepo, not really for 5 stars. Price list, there are better places in the surroundings for occasional dinners ..... Aegean Melathron, Kassandra Palace, Teophano Palace ..... Zefira ...

This was the 3rd time we came here and the staff is kind and helpful. Honestly it has good food the beach is really nice and the water is blue. You have a water sports center and you feel like home.

It is nice but very boring place...
If You like classic sun-bath-holliday it's your dream: calm, quiet and beautiful sunsets in the horizon's clouds... but nothing else!

Top location, right on the beach, fine sand and little going on. Restaurant on the roof 1A. Sunset as promised!

In front of the sea, very hospitable and willing staff, very good kitchen, comfortable and clean rooms. Ideal choice for families. The only drawback is the stones that make access to the sea difficult.

Clean water as you want but not much sand, lots of pibbles

Pros: 1) The rooms in which the visitors of the hotel live are clean and spacious.
2) Delicious Mediterranean cuisine.
3) Private beach.
4) Helpful staff.
Disadvantages: 1) poor breakfasts and dinners (not in a restaurant by the beach).
2) Lack of household appliances in the rooms (kettle, etc.).
3) It is allowed to smoke everywhere (from restaurants to the beach.
4) Small area (for a 5-star hotel).
Bottom line: the hotel is good, but the title of "luxury" does not justify, pulls on 4 stars, not five. (A score of 3 was given due to tainted expectations and inconsistency with current status.)

The rooms are great! Clean and luxurious! Very good breakfast and amazing beach bar and a la carte restaurant! The hotel itself is situated right on an amazing beach! The beach is services which means you can just unwind and relax and enjoy the amazing Halkidiki weather! Close to Fourka Beach and many more beaches on the Kassandra peninsula! Definitely recommended for an extended Halkidiki beach holiday.

We did as guests at the bar after bathing ... nice as an atmosphere but ... the coffees that we drank neither in a boat such bad quality nuggets no relation to the 5 stars !!! The worst thing was that we got ice-creams with a gift for the kids and simple handbags if I'm not mistaken by Krikri who besides staggering they charged 3 euros instead of selling price that is cheaper!

An excellent beach bar. The problem is very closed access for guests outside the hotel.

The hotel is not big and you don't get lost in it you have a bar by the pool and you can eat there

Very Nice hotel, Located on the beach, spacious room with balcony to the sea, lovely pool, and good breakfast.
What I didn t like is that the room is Not Equipped with kettle for example. And there were lots of bees during breakfast.

A beautiful place in front of the sea, with excellent facilities and very helpful staff!!!

A very cozy intimate hotel located on the outskirts of the very lovely seaside village of Fourka. We lived in a 2-room Suite with a sea view. The room had everything we needed, including mosquito nets and fumigators. The air conditioner was quiet and not annoying at all. On the second day, at our request, the pillows were replaced, cleaning was carried out every day. The towels were new, not washed, a good set of cosmetics in the shower.
The breakfasts were great. Always fresh fruits and homemade yoghurts, be sure to porridge and cottage cheese, and eggs in any form ...
The beach and sun loungers are beyond praise, the sun loungers are very comfortable and clean, the beach is in perfect condition, you can always find shade ...
I would especially note the responsiveness of the staff and their sincere desire to make your stay comfortable. Simos from the booking department speaks excellent Russian, promptly resolved all issues related to booking. Petros and Kristina at the reception helped with operational issues and constantly went to a meeting on household issues. The waiters from the beach bar - Panteleimon and Maria are very friendly and attentive. Overall - a great place, I will come again ...

A hotel with direct beach location, beach bar and pool. The location is very quiet and the atmosphere in the hotel is rather calm as the hotel is smaller than usual.

On the plus side, the excellent service, the competence of the staff and the extremely luxurious furnishings. If you need a rental car here, you can get one at favorable terms at the reception. This will then be available at the hotel and can simply be returned there.
Questions and problems are solved here as quickly as possible, even if only in English.

The breakfast is like a small fine buffet, which is served fresh and properly stocked.
The dinner is based strongly on a four-course menu in the form of a buffet with daily changing dishes and dishes. Whether soups, salads, vegetarian dishes, fish, meat, pasta dishes or Greek specialties, there is definitely something for everyone here.
All in all, the food is very recommendable and not comparable to an "all-inclusive canteen" from other hotels.
The food is served on the roof of the reception / lobby. You will then eat with suitable music and a wonderful view of the sea and pool.

The pool opens at 10 a.m. and closes at 7 p.m.
The beach bar is open outside of the main season until around 11 p.m. and closes between 12 a.m. and 1 a.m. in the high season. You can eat and drink at the beach bar. Good dishes and popular drinks are served here. The alcohol is top notch. The cocktails are elaborately prepared in front of your eyes. Only fresh fruit and good products are used.
It follows of course that the prices at the bar are based on the upper segment. You can get a cocktail here between 8 and 10. Soft drinks are optionally served with ice and fresh fruit. Everything is brought to your place, whether on the terrace or directly on your beach chair.
All in all great service.

The SPA and relaxation center is very friendly and competent. There is a lot on offer for the price.
The prices here are between 70 and 130. For 30 minutes to 2 hours you get pure relaxation here!

The room is big, clean and spacious. Two TVs (bedroom and living room), great WiFi signal and good noise insulation. The room is of course cleaned every day and the ladies are very friendly!

My conclusion:
It is one of the best and for some it is actually the best hotel here in Halkidiki.
However, you should plan between 200 and 500 just for the side meals on the beach, so that you can enjoy your holiday in a relaxing way.
If you don't want that, you have all shops with a large selection of drinks, snacks and souvenirs within a 2km radius.

All in all I can say that I will be back very soon! Clear recommendation!

The hotel is not very big in its territory, but it is very nice and decent.

The hotel room was spacious, with a modern interior and bright, with a bowl of fruit waiting on the table. The balcony has a clothes dryer and a table with three chairs, the balcony itself is separated by a sliding door and an insect net. The bedroom was separated by a door, there were two narrow beds next to each other.

In the dining room you can enjoy a rich breakfast in the morning - a variety of pastries, pastries and local food [pickled peppers, olives, puff pastry pie (Mpougatsa), watermelon, savory snacks on bread or orange peel], as well as International breakfast, beans, tomato, beans, tomato, beans .. In the evenings, however, Greek cuisine - juicy tomatoes, sweet onions, various meats, salads, stage rolls and, of course, olives. Lunch can only be enjoyed in the tavern at an additional cost.

The sun loungers are located by the pool or by the sea, with one parasol for each pair of chairs. Towels can be borrowed from the lifeguard. The average depth of the pool is about 1.5 m, there is a small jacuzzi in the corner, there is also a children's pool.

Very friendly staff who can't do enough for you with a very nice beach . Gym could be better . Would definitely home back .

Yes, a good overall hotel, very clean and cozy, spacious rooms and extremelly friendly staff. Not many activities, small compound, and no free espresso- could use more of Greek cuisine. I would definatelly return. M

It's the hotel of my dreams! Me and my wife enjoyed our holidays at Olympion Sunset year after year, for ten years in the row. Every year the same top quality accommodation and services, every year something new, like the new piano bar or the new "sunset" neon sign, which looks so vintage. They really chose best solutions for rooms, lounges, roof restaurant, pool restaurant, garden and pool so that you can fully relax and fully enjoy the sunset over Olympion Mountain, the house of Gods. In fact, you really feel that you are in the Land of Gods! But what really makes the difference is the 5-stars staff, from the reception staff (thank you, Petros and Simos!), to the cleaning staff (thank you, Anni!). Always ready to help in a very professional way, and always ready to make your day better with a smile or with a joke.

Very nice hotel DE 4 stars / GR 5 stars mostly English language. Very quiet and secluded total relaxation. Very nice staff, very good service and very clean. Extremely tastefully decorated. Unfortunately, the food is no 4 and certainly not worth 5 stars, the food again on the second day. Pangasius fillet, mackerel and pork belly do not belong on a 4-5 star buffet.
We ordered a packed lunch for the departure, which was served full of dry toast with a slice of cheese. Of course there was also something to drink + a little East. Dear Sunset Team improves the evening buffet and then it really is 5 stars. we like to come back

Very nice place, amazing food with a lot of choice, nice beach, wonderful balcony with beautiful view. Very nice and smilly staff.

The only minuses were cleaning ladies not respecting your requests regarding the time when you wish your bedroom to be cleaned, and the parking which is really crowded and without shadow.

Elias in the restaurant is the best child. all the children were perfect place the perfect place the hotel was brand new and designed the swimming pool was supervised by the shipwreck or that for children the sea is at your feet a beautiful small gym with the necessary bird's-day bar far away.continuous installation clean neat

Even is not marked as private place, I have been asked to leave, because it's only for their guests by one very impolite waiter. Not a nice place, old and dirty sunbeds... Definitely never again...first time in Greece when I couldn't sit on one place....Shame

We spent here one perfect vacation. The people who work there are very kind and polite. Petros at the reception and the boys at the tavern were the best, they are very friendly and helpful. It is worth ... Very good hotel ... definitely the cost of living is increased, but the hotel complex is worth the money! The sea and the beach amazing!

A medium sized hotel with many suites. The service is friendly and not intrusive. From 15.10 the season is over - towards the end it is wonderfully quiet. Less suitable for children. The view of the sunset towards Olymp is really every evening a feast for a good buffet. For vegetarians or even vegans, there is less ......

Nice enough hotel, with friendly enough staff, but missing on items normally taken for granted such as a shower (just a bath), parking (parked on grass after going over curb, and a semi-tranquil breakfast (was very stressful as no tables were available and it felt like a complete free-for-all). Not much in the local area - an absolute must for a car. Interesting but won t return.

The cuisine genius - Vasilis Genitsariotis - everyday presents a wide
range of Greek and international meals at the buffet for breakfast
and dinner, warm or cold - sweet or spicy. Even after a week of stay
everyday something new to discover at the buffet.
Next time in greece we'll be back here.
