Its alright, for the money that i paid. I prob wouldnt go again. Some rides were closed. Only about 7 rides. The lines ealry in the morning werent bad. But later in the day be prepared to wait 20 mins or so. Good if you just want to get out and try something new.

The mountain is good, especially for in NJ. It's a great place to go if you are just starting or working on your technique. Unfortunately the attention to detail is lacking. On several occasions the on mountain fencing did not stretch far enough to mark dirt and rocks, and there is almost no consistency in the snow or terrain. Some of the jumps need to be marked better as I've come over a crest to be surprised by a rail almost directly in front of me. I got some serious air not even going over a jump, just because of a steeply pitched roller. Make sure you know what the trail is like before you go ripping through it. BE CAREFUL
Overall, good place to go for beginners but if you have expectations of a good skiing experience with good conditions, this is not the place.

Bike park was simply amazing. Couldn't recommend it more. It's a great place for people of any skill level to ride from very new beginners to advanced riders. The trails have such great flow and runs are the perfect length to not tire you out too much. The rental shop kinda sucks but maybe that was just my experience. We called the week before to see if we could park our camper at the base of the mountain which they were ok with and was awesome. We also asked about rental bikes and the lady said no need to reserve, they have plenty. Well we get there at 9 AM when they open and guess what...no bikes left! After a little complaining a manager "found" 3 medium bikes we could use(we all wanted large or xl) and the shop down the road had 2 more we could use. Cool we got bikes too small for us and the ones from the rental shop were something from 2006 that should not have gone through what we were doing. We did end up having a blast riding there but the bikes were less than ideal for us. Best advice I can give is make sure you reserve bikes!!! They have pads and helmets and shoes that are included in a rental which is awesome too. This is probably not too common to happen but just be warned so you don't have the same issue.

THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!!!! I went here with my family and we had a great time. There were a lot of great rides there. They also host during the winter months for skiing. The rides are thrilling and have a wave pool for the little ones. We know that we will come back here.

NEED MORE STAFF and better customer service!! Drove over 2 hours and 45 minutes as my husband wanted to go family snow tubing for his birthday. We get there and go inside the lodge to purchase tickets for snow tubing only to be told to purchase at tubing locatio . Took blue bus to snow tubing only to learn that their system is down and have no internet and CANNOT purchase tickets. So my family with 2 young kids had to get back on the bus and go back to the lodge to purchase the tickets. I inquired with representative of any discounts for the inconvenience considering she is the one who gave me the initial information and she abruptly responded no.. Go back on the blue bus to the tubing area only to wait 45 minutes while 1 ATTENDANT is literally cutting rubber to attach to the tube with 1 pier of pliers for over 30 waiting patrons. Experience is defintely not what I expected for the price. The tubing experience was good but honestly the customer service and lack of staff would make me drive to another lodge. Best part of trip was the bus driver on the blue bus!! PLAN TO WAIT AND NOT BE COMPENSATED!!

First off, you have to hike up a hill to get on basically every water ride with the exception of maybe one or two. By the time you reach the top of the hill/mountain your already tired from the hike up there. Lifeguards tell you to take off your water shoes so you have to walk on hard rocks most of the time. Water shoes are for the water and should be worn in the water. I expected much more from this park, I thought there would be more water slide/rides than what they have. Not sure if it was worth a 2 hour drive and $45 a ticket.

It was really awesome. It was my first time skiing so on the first shot was the most arduous, dignity degrading and longest slide down as I painfully tumbled down dust and all in the exact image of a cartoon. Afterwards there was less pain more skiing. I am impressed with Mountain Creek because they are well situated to give an impeccable view as you go up the carousel and have staff and procedures that ensures a smooth process. If you need to recharge their lodge restaurant ensures warm and cosy feeling. I think just 2 let downs are their proportions of food to what you're paying isn't ideal and on the ski slope... granted the snow was machine made there are certain areas considerably dangerous even for beginners as you run through solid sections of ice and have no grip to slow down or fully halt. In summary hope to visit for summer!

Great place to spend the day. The only drawback to me is that the food is very expensive. And preferred parking is 20 dollars while general parking is 5 dollars. All parking should be free

Waited nearly three hours for rentals on Christmas Day. The staff members were trying their hardest to keep up with the crowd, but management completely dropped the ball. Only two people were manning the ski rental desk. This goes way beyond incompetence and approaches fraudulent business practices. If anybody knew they d be waiting this long in a line not a single person would have paid these exorbitant prices. Management had a duty to tell people how long they d be waiting or close the line. Mountain Creek management is sending their (former) customers a clear message - take your business elsewhere.

If this is the same place were talking about I would give it a 10 outta 5 stars. It only gets a 3 without these: the skydiving fan, bungee jumping, slingshot, alcohol, the 4 man raging rapids, watching people fall off the Tarzan ropes in the freezing water with no idea how to swim. Good times! Beyond anything imaginable today.

I Paid for 2018 Season passes for the various "benefits" but parking is Free for everyone so what's the point on making that an incentive for potential season pass buyers. Food inside park was really bad and took more than 20 minutes to receive. I ordered a pulled pork sandwich, but I didn't know Mt Creek's sandwich was one piece of soggy bread and meat on top . The mac and cheese was just horrible and really salty. I've been there 3 times this season and at least 3 rides were closed every time I went. This is the second year I've purchased season passes and it may be the last.

Been coming for years. New management is hurting the place. Very disorganized. Impossible to coordinate a lesson for our child. Rentals are a mess. Even the bar and restaurant has gone downhill. Understaffed, dont know how to make the drinks on the menu...etc. Hopefully they can turn it around as the place is nice enough and location is key to NYC Vicinity. Will say...Bill and Tyler who work in the lessons group were amazing fixing the issues that the coordinators dealt them. And Linda at the Hawk s Nest was nice and comp d our drinks given the poor service. So giving 3 instead of 2 stars.

It's been a pleasure coming here to snowboard, lots of fun and a nice crowd for the most part. You always have your crazies but it's been less frequent compared to other mountains. Food was good but we try and bring our own, nothing like homemade food . Sooooo happy Starbucks has has a spot here = Also, the staff has been helpful and friendly even when the crowds roll in.

Had a great time here. Friendly staff and cozy rooms. The area has a couple activities to do during your visit. One thing to note is the kitchen sink. It's extremely tiny. Don't plan to do any serious cooking that involves a sink. There is a dishwasher to so that helps. Great place overall.

This place has a great program for learning to ski or snowboard. Their are lessons even advanced lessons like learning some tricks. The only problem is that this place can get too crowded and many trails can be closed. This time there were many trails which were open but did not really have much snow.

Inconvenient parking, weird lift, and slow expensive food. Coupled with the increased price of a day pass and not being part of the mtbparks pass this year (2019) I'll go to any of the other half dozen parks that are in the New England area instead.

I've been coming here for 30 years, learned to ski and snowboard here as well. Yes it can get ridiculously busy and yes natural snow can be a challenge, but for what it is, it's a great mountain.

Even a few months after visiting mountain creek, we still have the best memories in front of my memory cells. After visiting lots of different water parks and places, I'll say that this place beats all of the previous places I've been. We had so much fun in every minute we spent here, wish I can be there right now...

I think it's the best ski resort I've ever been in my Life. First time I've been there 23 years ago. It was amazing expirience. And now after all these years it's even better. There is a live music played by Dj. Nice restaurant and bar. You can rent good equipment in decent price. Strongly recomend. Have fun.

The hotel isn t maintained very well. My room was dirty. Soda and juice stains on the walls. On my second night I had to call the front desk because a colony of ants that showed up on the bedroom nightstand. The window sills had dirt and dead bugs on them. I found 6 or 7 random hairs in my clean sheets. Not a great experience.

Prices have gone up steeply, it's not Affordable to go without a prepaid card. Snow quality is almost always decent to very icy. The upside is that the bad conditions will learn you how to ride on anything, and its location allows me to at least get out one or twice a season.

My first time in mountain creek and what can I say only 10 (yes, 10) "rides" open. Wasnt upset or disappointed I knew this going to the park, but I was disappointed in the lazy river. Like come on that's for toddlers. Overall experience out of 10, I give it a 5. Since half the rides were closed.

Solid place to ski or snowboard. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Especially the internationals, they greeted us with smiles and sent us on our way with positive remarks like "have fun" and " have a great day."

So why only one star? The food.

First it's over priced. But you should be expecting considering your options of eating somewhere else are very limited. But just how much over priced? A Hershey bar cost $2.50 - that's 250% more than how it's normally priced. But more importantly the food is not safely handled. It is kept in temperatures way above it's ideal food safety of 34-41 degrees Fahrenheit and this was the case with the corn beef panini I purchased. I got way more than what I asked for: fever, cold swears, upset stomach, and nasuea. So to summarize: if you're going to eat at Mountain Creek be sure to bring some extra dollars and take off the following two days to recover from food poisoning.

Didn't go to resort, I went to kites restaurant in the resort. Service was good but food was not. When we told our waitress she was just like ok. Did ask if we maybe wanted something else or offer to take it off the bill.

Visited and stayed at Appalachian. Location is great, right off the route. Gym and pool size decent. Room amenities are ok, TV need to be upgraded: CRT? Come on, It's 2018!!! And channel quality are terrible

I took my family for a day of sledding, unfortunately there was some time of malfunction with the power and the inflatable guards at the end were deflating, as a consequences they won't let anyone down until those guards were fully inflated. Consequently we were able to go down only four times in two hours.

I went skiing with my wife yesterday. Great time! Considering the warm weather, we had some great runs.. Mountain creek did a great job maintaining the slopes and the place is very clean..
The only down side is taking your skies on and off everytime that you go on the chairlift for the blue/ black slopes...

Went for a Spartan race. Super hilly, rocky, and the hiking lanes can be narrow. Also beware of steep terrain. If you have poor knees, definitely wear a knee brace. Your knees will thank you when you walk/run up and down several hills.
This should be a no-brainer but just a reminder - it gets colder and WINDY as you go up the hill so definitely dress warm.
The views from the top are very nice especially during the late afternoon (right before sunset). The view looks like a painted picture.

Horrific experience. Never again. I was shoved on a bus and on my way off I was pushed. When I got to the snow tubing spot one of the workers said that there were no tubes available and that the wait was over an hour when I had a two hour slot. Overall there were no buses, no service, and terrible people.

Any other day I give Creek a 5 of 5 but they lost a star being closed during the best snow of the season... But otherwise I always love the board park and secret side trails and vibe at south peak. Would be better if there were more EDM like events for weekends.

Great student pricing for what they offer. Lift ticket and rentals are $25 each on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Mountain offers basic skiing, and decent parks (though I'm not a park person). You get your money's worth.

I normally love this hill, but, conditions were not good. Mush combined with ice. Even the locals stayed away today. The food on the other hand is very good. They have a carving station and nice hearty vegetable soup. Lunch was the high point of my day.

The Bathroom was extremely smelly, dirty and disgusting. Am an Amputee and i walk with a walker. When I got half way there a worker having passed a few employees who told me anything said that i could've asked for transportation. Some of the workers wouldn't answer certain questions about seating saying that they wasn't in charge of that area. The place for me was a disaster. If you're disabled forget about coming to this place you might enjoy it as a normal person. The whole day was hot sticky I didn't get in the water and it was just a nightmare. Never Me Again!

Went here to zipline. A bit pricey for a few long ziplines. A little walking involved through uneven terrain but they do mention that on the site. You do get to ride the ski lift back and fourth which is pretty fun. There is also a very bumpy uphill ride after the last zipline back to the ski lift. I would say go just got the longest zipline over the water. So nice.

Best Thrilling, insane and notorious action park I ve ever been. The rides are situated at the mountain park with breathtaking beauty.
The price is reasonable.
The staffs were cordial but young. They are not young enough to face any emergency situation.
There is a resort just beside the park . People must have their own transportation.
Highly recommended for action and fun lovers . Definitely visit again.

I ride downhill mountain bikes here. Fun place until it's mega dry but nothing they can do. Wish they made new trails but there's plenty of variety to do there.

Just gotta be careful since you can pick up speed fast. Scope out everything first!
