Came here for a wedding and it was really nice. Good food and really nice venue. Would be nice if they made it easier to find on Google maps cause there's a couple Mountain Creek locations that pop up and a lot of guests including myself got lost finding it.

Wedding Review:

Wedding Review:
This venue is absolutely beautiful. We were so lucky to have great weather on our wedding day because we were able to have our ceremony on top of the mountain and the views were absolutely spectacular. The space in the lodge was amazing. We had 140 people and there was so much room to move around comfortably. The food was absolutely amazing and the cake from Cafe Pierrot was great (and included!)

I would give this venue 5 stars but the communication was not that great, which made it very stressful for me since I was planning my wedding myself. Our original coordinator was having a family emergency which I understand, but I felt that the other staff should have stepped in for her earlier on. I didn't have my final seating chart sent to me until a couple days before the event and the final details meeting we had to fight to get an appointment. The slideshow we wanted to play somehow got lost in translation and never was set up.

On a positive note since I work in a florist, I designed my own arrangements and I was able to set up my arrangements the night before in the lodge which was a huge help and I am so thankful for! On our wedding day, Tori and Connie were amazing and made everything perfect and relaxing. They really took care of me, my wedding party, and family. The bridal suite was absolutely gorgeous! The way they decorated the room was absolutely perfect. During the whole time, I couldn't have asked for a better time. If I could do it over, I would definitely have my wedding here again. I think I may have had some unlucky timing with the communication, but other than that our wedding day was absolutely perfect and I couldn't have asked for a better day.

The stay was okay, nothing grand. I don t think I would come back. The interior was outdated and the beds were old and uncomfortable. The hot tub and pool were small for the number of people staying here. The underground parking garage was a maze and confusing, there was no directional signage to get out.

Was stranded for literally more than 1h in a queue and then they closed all waterpark for another 40mins or more, don't recommend it specifically when only 4 games of the waterpark are available due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Not the biggest place around but for sure makes up for it with all the terrain features on the south mountain. Quick gondola on the north mountain. Great place to get beginners started or shred a little with your buddies

Had an amazing time here with my boyfriend. He's afraid of heights and these rides satisfied my need for thrill and his need to be closer to the ground! The food is decent as well, as far as fair food goes. Definitely worth the money.

NOTE: It's a bit of a hike to walk from ride to ride in sandals, slides, or flip flops so if you have trouble walking, be advised.

It was okay.. you waste too much time between getting your tubes for almost all slides and too much walking. Bathroom are very disgusting and very old the food is frozen. The loket u paid $20 dollars is disgusting to . The line for everything to long 30 m or more open at 11 and close 6

If you are planning to refresh this summer don't even think about it go to a beach or a pool the place is so big you will be walking for hours under the sun and waiting lines on a sun so strong that can probably give you cancer and drain all your energy now if you don't care about walking 5-10 minutes to every ride and waiting in each line 30 min then you will be fine

Snow tubing is Ok , the track/slide is not gr8.. they put rubber mats to stop tubes .. but that puts so much bump on your lower back that it hurts badly... ppl with back problems cant ride it .. i have been to better tubing grounds ..

I go to this water park ever single year with my best friends and we've always had the best time. This year, it was absolutely horrific. We encountered nothing but extremely rude staff the entire day. I decided to bring my own lunch which I wasn't aware at first that no outside food could be brought into the park. Once I found out, I asked if they could please hold my food outside of the park for me. Instead of being polite and either doing it for me or telling me no sorry we cannot do that, they rudely took my food from my hands and argued with me until they finally told me I could store my food in the Ski lodge outside of the park... If I pay 20 dollars for a locker which is absolutely ridiculous but it was my only option. Then, once we were in the park, we got to a ride and the staff that was at that ride told me I had to take off my swimming material (with a swim net inside) swim shorts in order to go on the ride. I proceeded to tell her that all of the guys going on this ride were wearing the same exact type shorts as mine (swim trunks) and she unbelievably asked me if I was a guy. Then told me if I wasn't, I was to take the swim shorts off if I wanted to go on the ride. I was appalled at how sexist and inappropriate the comment she made was. The whole staff was just as rude as she was and my friends and I couldn't believe it. We were shell shocked and did not expect such poor costumer service. We will NOT be going back every year like we used to do in the past. There are so many other water parks in the area we could go to which is what we will do for following years to come. I would not recommend Mountain Creek unless you are looking to start an argument with the extremely rude, sexist, unhelpful staff.

This place has no sense of respect about clients what so ever.
I bought a GO SNOWBOARD/SKIING package that includes rentals, a class and an all day lift service which sounds perfect for beginners just to find they canceled my package without previous notice.
They wait until the moment I arrived to the front desk at the facility to cancel my package and provided a refund but they had no remorse about all the expenses and time waisted to get there (this includes gear, hotel, gas and tolls from NY)
They could have easily avoided this bad experience by providing previous notice via email
I will definitely avoid any other future interaction with this company and pass the word to friends and relatives to avoid this place in the future

Great bike park for the NYC area and New Jersey, small but has lots of trails of varied difficulty levels. Has food in the place - excellent burgers! Bike rentals have new Scott Gambler bikes in great condition. Rental included protection gear - full face helmet was excellent, knee and elbow pads were in bad condition and actually caused me to get stuck in a rock garden when the handlebar caught the knee pad. Rental shop stuff was very friendly and helpful. Ticket ordering online was a breeze and when I needed to change dates to my mistake Lisa was extremely helpful and responsive.

I asked for Military discount and I was told I had to be in uniform. Did these people expect me to snowboard/ski in my uniform as well ? If you don t want to give discount; that s ok. But false advertising
"we give discount to military members "and telling them they have to be in uniform is the most ridiculous thing! Again don t need to give discount if you don t want to!! You don't have the right to say we give discount when you don't.
Other than this weird experience this is a fun place to be.

I haven't been to Mountain Creek in years. Thought we'll stay local as we hadn't planned any trips out West or even VT this year. Mountain Creek after all is the biggest mole hill closest to me (Leonia, NJ).
Man, was it bad! We got there slightly after 9am - feeling good that I even got to park in the first lot and can just walk across the street. Then it hit us like a ton of bricks. There was a HUGE crowd forming around the front of the lodge (to get tickets) and around the "online ticket pickup" flag.
After witnessing a number of shouting and minor skirmishes between irrate customers and ONE hour later, I got to the front of the line only to be told that Liftopia ticket holders must go to another line in the lodge.
Well, you can imagine my frustration and to make matters worst, the line inside the lodge was **3** times longer!!!
I immediate gathered my equipment and left with my son after a *fun* filled morning at Mountain Creek.
Good luck to all you unsuspecting future customer. I know I won't wish my experience last Sunday (1/19/2020) on my worst enemy.

Absolutely beautiful place. Too bad the big outdoor pool was halfway filled with leaves & green algae. We couldn't sit on our room balcony because of the mosquitos from the pool below.

People say that there were lots of Injuries, but that was in the late 70's through mid- 90's. They closed and reopened the park in 2014, and its a lot safer now. The rides look lit af too!

It was raining a little so few visitors showed up. We had the place to ourselves more or less. Amazing staff and very helpful lessons. The rental process was great and prices were affordable.

Close enough to NYC that it's feasible to do the ski trip in a day. The slopes are great and cater to skiers of all levels. Even when there wasn't sufficient snowfall they kept the slopes ski-able.

Parking is a huge hassle.. having to trek (yes, literally trek) back to the lodge. The lodge-access parking is a little expensive and super limited.

Food is ok, no better or worse other places. There are plenty of food options outside if you can wait.

The staff is friendly, the rates are decent, but most importantly, the mountain is huge! As someone who enjoys going down easy trails much more than harder ones, I really appreciate how long the beginner trail is, compared to other ski resorts I've been to. And if you're a more advanced skier, there are plenty of hard trails along that peak, and even more on the other peaks. My only quip would be that it may not be easy to learn how to ski for the first time here. I personally never learned here, but I have friends who did, and it seemed to me that the "bunny" slope is ridiculously small and boring that it's not even worth practicing on, and the "sugar" slope is too hard for people who don't know how to control their speed. I have one friend who refuses to ever go skiing again, because he was too intimidated to try advancing because the end area of the sugar slope is small, and if you don't know how to control your speed, you can ski right over it! At the very least, if the staff sees this, extend it a little and put some orange netting. That being said, it is still a great mountain, and I would definitely recommend it.

Love it. The trails are phenomenal. Please ensure that you ask Google maps to direct to mountaincreek Waterpark - if you're planning to do ziplining/ treetop/ bike trails. We were directed to another location and almost lost out on our chance to go ziplining

Apparently it was their biggest day yet, (12,000) so the lines were hours long. the lines for the lifts were about 15-20 minutes each but they are worth the wait. the mountain is huge so you have to plan which side to use, the right half is for racing(?). The snow was great considering the conditions.

Went back recently as I had been there in a couple years. The slopes are still great. Unfortunately they changed the lines for renting equipment and even though it may be more streamlined for the workers they process seems to take much longer than their old way of doing it. Still a ton of fun but bring gear to save time.

Excellent sking, long slopes. Moderate difficulty compared to the Poconos. HUGE MOUNTAIN WITH 3 PEAKS. South peak almost entirely dedicated to trick terrain (jumps ect...) . Overall a great trip.... Food prices were high and the french fires i bought were old:( Lodge store was nice and priced right, but small. Lodge itself was beautiful and clean. Mountain had several lifts and a gondola. OVERALL I AM SATISFIED AND WOULD RECOMMEND 8/10
