THE LINES ARE DEATH.

THE LINES ARE DEATH.
Come to this place only if you have your own equipment and have purchased a lift ticket online. We had plenty of fun on the snow but getting to that point took us 3 hours. 9AM arrival and line after line after line to get equipment or to get our lift tickets... by the time we stepped on actual snow it was 12 .. they must do something about this.

People if you are out of shape this may not be the place for you. It is a mountain after all so lots of climbing up the hills. Though I did so can you.
Also either buy water shoes online or payless I would not go bare footed here though you can if you want to. The water shoes at the park are 20 dollars for shoes that fall apart on you.
Please bring sunscreen it does not matter what completion you are bring it and wear it people.
I wasted my money on that waterproof case they have there. My beautiful Samsung 8+ will not turn on at all because the case was not waterproof. Though you can give it try maybe the case will work better for you then it did me.
The showers are near the wave pool instead of the bathrooms. The whole bathroom smelled of urine. Try to get a locker near the wave pool instead of near the entrance.

No infrastructure for people they sell too. They oversell and can t handle the crowd. Hours of lines and wait and bad experience. Weekdays maybe ok, weekends is a disaster for sure. Staff is very nice

One of the most accessible and best mountains around if youre from nyc area. I always come here to bust my wrist or get bruises on my glutes. The core workout from snowboarding isnt bad either. =)

It's very crowded on the weekend. Don't rent skis equipment from the establishment. It's better to rent from outside. We were waiting for more than 2 hours to get our rentals. And found out only 3workers worked to fit our boots. If only we rent from outside...things will be different.

Skied here for two separate day trips in Jan 2018. Lines at the lifts were reasonably short (nonexistent on the weekdays), and there was plenty of powder (granted a huge snowstorm had hit the previous Thursday). There is a limited number of greens blues and blacks on Vernon: where this skiway shines is the terrain park on West mountain. Shuttle takes roughly 10 minutes to take you there from Winslow, alternatively ski through Granite. A great spot for both beginners and thrill seekers.

Nice close place to NYC+. Great water park in summer. Used to be MUCH nicer and bigger. But now still great. I really like the water park here.
In the winter they have ski over 4 peaks that are OK but not big. Can be icy so watch out. They have great teaching packages and good teaching. Very good for beginners. Going over the 4 peaks is nice. They have the best Ski Parks around. Get Triple Play tickets early to get lower cost. On Thursdays they have special price for a car load (NOT a bus, just a car) that is really good value.
They have good lights on all trail and are usually open until 9pm (10pm Friday & Saturday) so it is nice to be able to ski until late.
Was there again Mon 2/6/2017 conditions were perfect, no ice and fast snow. Not crowded even that they were hosting the Special Olympics NJ Winter Games that day.

Do not come if you have a sensitivity to chlorine. after the welcoming Lobby, you walk towards your room bypassing an indoor pool, which in the winter I'm sure is amazing. During the summer when the humidity is a 100% and it's 80 degrees outside, it's just the worst idea ever. However, I did see a lot of people enjoying it, so maybe it's just me. the room was okay but the bed wasn't comfortable. The staff was polite but didn't get to cleaning my room until 4-5 p.m. all in all I wasn't impressed.

First time here disrespected they should be more friendly. I am a paying customer a male staff member had a attitude .They should not assume things because I was just trying to go. Up the mountain my self. And one person should be giving instructions out and not two people I don t know if I m gonna come back again.

Weather hasn't been great so it's hard to write a fair review. There are 3 hills with so-so snow coverage. It was pretty slow during the week before the schools came. Took a group lesson with Jim and our child. Jim was great and our son learned enough to get on the hill after the lesson. Overall a super fun weekend. Look into the Triple pass and rent skis/snowboard off the mountain.

As a Connecticut resident, I will admit that the drive to this place was very long. BUT IT WAS WORTH IT.

- FUN RIDES
- GOOD MEMORIES
- NICE PEOPLE (BOTH PATRONS AND STAFF)
- GOOD FOOD AND DRINK
- GREAT VALUE
- BETTER BAG RULES THAN COMPETITIVE COMPANIES
- MORE THAN JUST AN AMUSEMENT PARK. IT'S AN ENTERTAINMENT PACKAGE IN-AND-OF ITSELF.

Went last year, wanna go back this year. The place is great. The park is maintained well, looks great. The rides are exciting, thrilling, and lots of fun - a little intense, but hey, life was not meant to be spent wrapped up in a bubble. I got a little scraped up, but no big deal. Lifeguards did emphasize safety, which is a good thing, but aren't so anal retentive about it that you don't get to have fun. The only things I disliked about my last trip was that 1) a number of rides were closed. Mainly, the Cannonball, Tarzan Swings, and Rogue River, and 2) H2OhNo/Zero-G's lines were very long, but other than that, it was a lot of fun.

Great waterpark I love the fact that everything was redone from the old water park. Now that it s Mountain Creek, everything is nice & new! All of the rides are amazing fun, but not death defyingly scary, anyway I have 2 sets of kids (2 older ones & 2 younger ones) and they have something for everyone! The wave pool is especially fun and super realistic, it s like being at the beach without the hassle of all the sand and the fear of the Ocean. Its always fun being splashed around by the waves! Wonderful experience although I strongly recommend double checking the weather prior to purchasing tickets. Clearly you can t control the weather but you can always request promo codes from Guest Services if you have to leave due to inclement weather. You have to use the codes during the same Summer Season!

Hour + line to pick up online tickets. No organization or anyone helping or explaining anything. Just a mass of people forming a mass that resembles a line all confused because no one from the mountain was explaining anything.

I excepted a mediocre ski experience just because it s what can you expect from jersey skiing.

But management really screwed the pooch, terrible experience! I would give half a star if I could.

Great staff, Very helpful. On my last visit there i lost my car keys, the manager, and her whole team at the boot returns helped us look for them and didn't stop till they found them. I am very grateful for their efforts.

I've gone to Creek year-round for over 10 years so I'll break down some of the different things to do!

Skiing: Mountain Creek is a decent place to learn to ski or improve your abilities and it serves beginners to advanced skiers. For the park skier, The terrain park has had years where it was super fun, but within recent years it has fallen short. I highly recommend skiing Creek on a WEEKDAY, as weekends can get very busy. Night skiing is super fun on the weeknights, I used to come every day after school. Busy days not only have long lift lines but the crowded trails and inexperienced skiers can become downright dangerous.

Mountain Biking: Prior riding experience and proper gear IS required, but Mountain biking is Creek's hidden gem. With plenty of flow and tech, it has some of the best trails around! Dominion is the best jump trail ever and the DH race trail is super fun and gnarly. Everyone who rides at Creek during the summer is super friendly and always willing to help you out. Lift lines are only long during opening and closing weekends; other than that there's rarely a line longer than 2 minutes.

I'm an experienced snowboarded. I booked a trip with my daughter, purchasing a package (including rental and lesson) in advance, as the woman on the phone instructed.

We got to mountain around 10am, and were told that the line for rental equipment is already over 2 hours. This is obviously a non-starter. These guys simply do not have the facilities sufficient to accommodate their traffic. Naturally, they refused to give us a refund, as is their policy.

I'd been there once before and, it's fine, for what it is. The lifts are nice, the trails are maintained well enough, etc. But the front office is not well-run. They will take your money and simply not deliver what they promised. Never going back.

For New Jersey they are fantastic. Small mountain, little elevation... all mountain is green to blue and it gets crowded on the weekends ... however... their snow making and trail maintenance crew is fantastic ... they can recover from two days if rain and 50+ weather in a day or two ... cudos to the snow crew... weekdays are awesome

Waterpark not worth going to during Covid most rides are closed and long lines better off staying home by closing so many rides it made all the other rides very crowded, We were there for five hours and only got to go in the wave pool and four rides

Mountain Creek is very fun for the family. Several rides were not open but there was enough to keep everyone busy for several hours. Also, the price was fair - we paid $24.95 which was very affordable. There was also a wave pool where you can spend a couple of hours as well.

Horrible experience for the children. While snow tubing it Took 45-60 minutes to go down. The lines got so long that by 12 they finally opened the other side. So many complaints were heard throughout the park and one staff member was even in tears. They posted a sold out sign by 12:30 pm. Blamed the holiday but didn t staff for it. I felt horrible for how some staff were treated by guests, but at the same time the attitude from most of the male staff and managers was horrendous!!!! I d only go back if someone paid for us to do so. It was a huge waste of money to only go down 3 times. 2-19-2019

We got a bad experience on 2/10/2019:

We got a bad experience on 2/10/2019:
- Got to fill a rental form twice - one electronic and one paper. Waste of time.
- As of 10:50 AM the Southern Sojourn trail remained closed, which cut us of from being able to get to the South Peak. In addition, the Vernon Triple lift was also closed, so we decided to ask for a refund on the lift ticket (which BTW is $79.99 before tax, more expensive than at Camelback). I had to speak to three different employees from Guest Services as it appeared only the girl in the green vest can help with a refund . She completely ignored us by staring at her phone while we were trying to explain the situation. Employees who we talked to initially said if the Sojourn trail is closed we can take a shuttle to the South Peak that's the only helpful information we could get from them that day. Apparently the place doesn't have an interactive map with open trails nor they are willing to use their walkies talkies to double check if the trail is open or provide an ETA when it will be.
- A customer in front of us asked the representative how many days left on her multi-day lift card, however she was told to count herself. Pretty rude.
- Once you get the ski equipment you have to walk up on the steep stairs in your ski boots (see the photo attached). It's very dangerous and not convenient at all.

Conclusion:
- The Mountain Creek resort is expensive with horrible customer service. You can get a better value elsewhere - Camelback, Windham, Belleayre.

I recently went here with my girlfriend on a snow tubing trip. One of the most fun and exciting experiences in my life! When looking up the hill it does not seem high, but once you are up there enjoy the ride!

The staff is very pleasant and inviting. The cost is cheap! Kids will love it. Adults will love it. Definitely reccomend!
