So much to see and do. Loved the trains and space ...
So much to see and do. Loved the trains and space craft. The kids lived the chocolate experience
So much to see and do. Loved the trains and space craft. The kids lived the chocolate experience
Clean and well organized. It has something for everyone. The opening hours are only up to 18.00 h
It's just cool. Go early, you won't have time to see everything.
One of the most beautiful and interesting museums in Switzerland
Nice and great museum about all different modalities of transport. I did enjoy a ride in a somewhat simplistic flightsimulator. The museum has inside and outside facilities.
Really very entertaining and interesting! Day ticket is worth seeing everything !!
Visit is worthwhile, even for less interested in technology,
Nice. Any Swiss and interested in mobility should write this Museeum on the visit list. And there is still entertainment with the IMax cinema.
Very good place to visit. The transport museum covers the works - Trains, planes, cars, ski lifts and funiculars. It has a planetarium as well as a Lindt mobile chocolate tour presentation and also Imax sized screens showing some cool documentaries. Quite interactive, very good for kids young and old. Will need between 3 to 5 hours to complete if you do all the above.
Swiss Travel Pass is not accounted for free ticket.
Always pleasant to visit. Even when grown up. Bring memories to the surface. Unfortunately, not having children, we are a little impatient and the concentration on Sunday is very high. It is still worth the ride even if between Tageskarte, parking and lunch, it is a drain!
Great destination for young and old. From trains to planes. Much to try out and control yourself. Large playground with railways and other vehicles. The planetarium also costs a visit. The self-service restaurant is functional but rather expensive. There are plenty of paid parking spaces for those arriving by car. Arrival also possible by tram and boat.
There is no boredom here! There is so much to see and try out for young and old. One day is almost not enough if you want to have everything done.
Quite interesting museum.
Just no or too few places outside where you can sit and eat.
Interesting place, especially for families with children from 3-4 years. There are many parking spaces around the area. You can look at cars, ships, planes, trains to spaceships / astronaut accessories. Unfortunately, many of the objects on display do not work at all or poorly, which tarnishes the excursion a bit. But would come again.
A real must when you visit Lucerne. A friend drove me to the Verkehrshaus in Lucerne. You have some impressions about trains, planes, cars and of course about space. It shows the complete traffic history of Switzerland
Great museum, vey good place to go with kids both on rainy or sunny days.
A complete view on the transportation history of Switzerland.
Great collection, nice activities, interactive, attractive for new generations
Loved the location. Great tour with children in Lucerne.
Always very interesting. Great to do with the family. Well organised.
Fun for children and you can easily spend a day on it.
Go with your children. They will love, like me. Avoid weekends too much waiting at attractions.
Quite expensive (32 ), but really well done. Divided into several pavilions. Also suitable for children because there are so many activities to do.
Perfect for a rainy day. Beautiful everything, including chocolates. Take tickets via the site to avoid the queue.
Xche c is what can transport museum cn enjoy many things to see beautiful
Whenever I go there with my boys and my wife there is always something new
A great museum. A lot to see, a lot to do and very child-friendly.
Unfortunately very expensive and it closes quite early.
Neat experience. The museum is divided into various sections, all focusing on different transportation modes. There is a scale model of the Gotthard tunnel. There are classic cars on display, and ski lifts throughout the ages.
The planetarium has a scale photograph of Switzerland that you can glide across (with booties) and locate various spots that have highlighted disks to match. Neat way to get the scale of travel, while it may look close on the photo, the actual trip will involve lots of elevation.
Neat museum, especially if you have a particular interest in machines.
A very nice place, there is something for everyone for young and old
always interesting, unfortunately without abo very expensive
Amazing place for all ages. Must visit place in switzerland
Might be the best museum I ve ever visited, everything about this place is fantastic!
Make sure to reserve lots of time cause the place is huge!
Highly recommended!
Leave plenty of time for this museum. We could have spent 4 hours there. Plenty of trains, planes, boats, automobiles and more.
Fantastic museum. A lot can be touched and tried out, some can simply be admired. Great special exhibitions. The planetarium and IMAX as well as the blast. For the first time we visited the Chocolate Tour yesterday ... I'm just saying mhhhh!
Verkehrshaus is great. The entrance fee is unfortunately in no relation to the performance.
An incredible museum, only 20 francs for students! You can really stay there for hours, it's a train and plane aficionado's paradise! ;)
I recommend it 300% !!
Very good place to go with kids...initially we were hesitant to go to another museum thought to go for 2hrs only. .. But after going inside we changed our opinion....spent more than half a day there.. I played more than my son ;)
Excellent museum, to discover the first machines rolling and flying to children
Amazing area for kids and adults. Good cafeteria and play areas apart from transport specifics.
If you have kids, it's really fun to see adults as well.
Admission prices should be reduced for so many attractions to be closed ...
Amazing collection of train innovations but little for roads.
It is an interesting insight to evolution of railway in Switzerland and it has play areas and movies
Had a great time. Rich in discoveries, unfortunately did not have time to do everything. But we will come back
We have been visiting the Verkehrshaus in Lucerne as a family for years. There is always something new to discover. An annual pass is worth it because the single entry is relatively high.
5 stars is little. It takes a lot of time here to enjoy so much
a great place for kids and parents. there are trains, cars, airplanes, submarines, spaceships, and etc. all moving things in the world.
Great museum for big and small! Many attractions and activities for children. Unfortunately quite expensive and the parking costs a lot ...
Many exciting exhibitions - unfortunately a lot only in company / at certain times
Great museum, great traffic house, amazing location on the lake, very interactive, also very interesting for smaller children. Perfect.
One of the best Museums in the world.
You can not only see and read but touch and try.
Loads if stuff, not only cars and trains.
Every couple weeks you see something new. New exhibits, New shows.
Worth to visit, for the whole family but also just yourself
When you enter to this museum it's like a history thing. It's a place must visit and well organized and interesting to see some transportation dated from 1881. Don't forget to visit the Lindt shop where you can taste the newest flavors of chocolate done from the cook of Lindt And at the end go for a walk near the lake to see the best view in Luzern
Most suitable for children. A thoughtful mix of hands on fun and facts ensure kids are engaged. Can easily spend 4-5 hours. Has good basic facilities..very close to the bus stop. English speaking staff.
One of the best transport museum i've ever seen. Quite expensive tickets but you are in Swizz.
Very interesting beautiful things to see. A fun chocolate train
a great excursion destination, not just for kids! interesting changing exhibitions, unfortunately in Lucerne and not in Lausanne.
