Quiet fun and suitable for all ages. Interested and instructive with activities suitable also for children (point in favor) as probably the children would be more attracted. Museum not very interactive and would have bishop to be updated. Very suitable for children up to 12 years.

The most interesting sector is complete is that relating to rail transport, but also that relating to 4 and 2 wheels is well looked after. A lot of educational and interactive material dedicated both to adults but especially to children represents a secondary aspect of a visit definitely worth recommending.
Prices remain in line with the Swiss standard and therefore at an expensive level compared to the Italian target.

A very nice museum, very interactive and very nicely laid out. We went there with 2 young children and even they had a lot of fun and have been busy for hours. Very well organized and value for money is fantastic, especially if you go to Christmas We had the museum handy for ourselves and the staff even had some attractions run especially for us or started.

Actually great museum, unfortunately a bit expensive, if you want to marvel at all the attractions. A journey by train to Lucerne and boat trip to the Museum of Transport is worthwhile. But ATTENTION! Boat trip is not included in the route network. Costs per adult from 1.20. Can be paid in an emergency on the ship. Great are the play and discovery possibilities for the little ones. They can do dredging, shoveling or riding trotti and parents can retire.

In my opinion, this is the coolest transport museum that I have visited in the last few years. An incredible amount of interactive stands. You can drive a high-speed train. Or you can try to fly a helicopter. There is also a crash test stand where you can stay as a mannequin. If you carefully study all the stands and pavilions, then you need two or three days. And certainly with children!

Opening times are too short to see everything on a dayticket. Why close already at 5??
The food was overpriced in the restaurant. 28 Francs for a plate with salad? As if the entry price was not already high enough, more profit was needed to be made on food. Also if your children want to use the outside trampolines, it will be 10 Francs each!
The prices in the Lindt shop were higher as in the Coop.
I tried to go two times into a small attraction in the astronaut area. First time the assistant went on a break and the ride got closed since there was no replacement. We were told to come back later during the day, which we did, only to find it was reserved 45 minutes for a birthday group.
The steam boat was closed due to maintenance. The u-boat was closed as well and opens only a few times a day. The Rega aircraft was closed as well when we tried to get in.

Museum / exhibition is informative and mostly child-friendly. Simply the restaurant is totally wrong in terms of price / performance and offers simple but overpriced canteen food. Family-friendly is different.

Have spent a really great day! The Space Transformer is awesome !! Unfortunately, I thought so in a Coop Super Center: Coop is far too overpowering with their appearance and the - sorry - ridiculous Spielchen, who do not even begin to have a spiritual value; in contrast to the real activities of the Verkehrshaus, which are very interesting and instructive. Dear Director, please find another sponsor, who is just as discreet as everyone else and offers something not only financially, but also in terms of content. Thank you.

Absolute recommendation. Very interesting exhibits and many opportunities to participate interactively. There were also a lot of great experiences for the children during the visit (for example, taking a ride on the train, trying out seats in an aircraft cockpit, pedal boating and, above all, the children's construction vehicles in the open space). We'll be back

My must-have since childhood, when I'm in the area. A museum that always transforms itself with the technical change and thus remains exciting.
And that follows today the idea that holistic experience just touch, try and the playful handling of many exhibits requires.
It was, once again a pleasure - even if the fact that the museum closes in the winter time at 17 o'clock, the opening time, according to the website, but until 18 o'clock, has today caused a slightly annoyed, premature termination of the visit.

The Verkehrshaus offers a lot to discover and learn. It is also exciting for small children: 3 train simulators and many buttons or levers that get things moving, and much more.
The imax is gigantic and the planetarium was also great. Only the prices are a bit dramatic.

Place suitable for children. It was recommended to me by a friend but I found it rather boring. There is something more interesting but only for a fee. The entry to the park already costs 30 chf I found it really excessive to pay further. The food was pitiful. Really terrible. The best thing was the car to dig the tunnels just outside the entrance. Look at that and then go visit Lucerne which is much more beautiful and interesting even for the little ones

Super museum in constant evolution and very playful which does not prevent to learn things a hall by transport train, boat, car and plane not to mention the Planetarium (to pay in addition) and the films in 3D (In more). Games also outside and picnic only outside! There is also the Erni Museum and the Lindt Chocolate Adventure (more). If you like chocolate stop at the souvenir shop you will find specialties that are not in the trade and developed by the Master Chocolatier! In summary you will spend a very good day !!

Very interesting place, both for the transport museum where, between historic trains, road signs and routes, young and old can have fun and learn, and for the planetarium and the docu-cinema in various languages, the audio visual experience is guaranteed .. complete a canteen, where a little of everything is served and will certainly satisfy the general tastes
