I thought it was good, only I had the problem that I couldn't use almost all attractions (airplane simulator, Rega simulator, the rotating cube in the world) because I didn't have any masks, so I'll give you a tip to take a mask with you when you go to the traffic building goes.
What I found a shame was that no vr things could be used because of Corona, but otherwise I think the Verkehrshaus is beautiful and good and I will always find it beautiful because there is always something new.

The Museum of Transport is unique in Europe. So many exhibits on the subject of mobility. This not only fascinates the little ones, but also the big ones. It is also worth a visit when the weather is nice.
What many do not know, films are shown in IMAX from time to time, which is always very special.

Unfortunately, very poor hygiene measures regarding the COVID-19 pandemic. I felt very uncomfortable because a lot of people come together and there is no mask requirement (only in the planetarium), and there is no sufficient distance.

Amazing museum ...
You cant be bored in any way.
Very interesting and fascinating ideas...
The only option for you for a full tour is starting by the opening of the house.
You need for sure 6 to 7 hours without break for coffee and snack.
Day pass is a money loss because you are not having the time to see all the offered attractions.

In addition to vehicles of all types and times, there is a wonderful space for children to play with mini modes of transport, riding tractors, boats, etc.

The Swiss Museum of Transport in Lucerne is worth ...

The Swiss Museum of Transport in Lucerne is worth a visit and an experience. It starts with a big railway exhibition. Here you can visit locomotives and trains that were used in Switzerland and especially on the Gotthard. Engine drivers explain the functioning of steam locomotives, explain the construction of the Gotthard tunnel. Finally, you can visit the crocodile (a Swiss electric locomotive) from nearby and marvel at the cab. A model railway shows and explains the importance of the Gotthard tunnel in the 1950s. It continues with an automobile, motorcycle and bicycle exhibition. Here are countless vehicles of the past hundred years. Continue with the shipping. The final stage is an aircraft exhibition where you can marvel at the cockpit of a real aircraft. If you want to visit the Verkehrshaus, you should be there in the morning at 10 o'clock, to have seen a lot until the exhibition closes at 17 o'clock. Unfortunately, the museum closes way too early.

Very nice museum, very playful! There is something for all ages! Allow a few hours to go around, especially if the children want to try, play etc ... Only negative point: the restaurant! Very expensive, not good at all. Complicated to have gluten-free and lactose-free ... (There are only vegetables, fries and salad buffet that are suitable) But there is a space for those who have a picnic, in my opinion it is a good option!
Petit +: In the restaurant, free water fountain.

Amazing museum with so much to explore! Really great interactive exhibitions - good for young children and adults alike. You can learn all about the history of transportation and vehicles, from cars to boats to planes. It is presented in a very entertaining way. There is also a planetarium, Media World and cinema - and the Lindt 'chocolate experience' that involves riding around in a cart and learning about chocolate. This was another highlight of the trip! If you're in Lucerne and looking for something to occupy yourself with for several hours, definitely go here?

Very complete and very interactive museum, well thought out for children. Price a little high especially since there are still other paid activities. It is also better to plan a picnic, there are places provided for this.

Why does a museum slides, climbing walls and other weak-minded entertainment SchiSchi? If it's just a matter to bekaspern the spoiled brats, you can maintain the concept.

Can you go back, but you do not have.

I was really hesitant of going here. The price is rather high and wasn't sure wed get the bang for the buck. It rained so we went. Great time! It's all about the kids. They can touch everything and climb on most things. The cafe has decent prices and if you have a Swiss pass you get half off entry. We would have stayed all day if it wasn't for nap time.

Was there in September 2017. With small children 3-5 years in a group was a bit difficult because it was big and a lot to be amazed at. Couldn't do all the sightseeing . Great ways to play. Nice staff. However, finding the toilet was a bit of a hassle.

The Verkehrshaus is very entertaining and exciting for young and old. There is a lot to discover and do. The exhibitions are exciting, in good condition and there is a lot to see from historical to current. Certainly not cheap in terms of price, but definitely appropriate for such an experience.
