A really nice place to get with family and children, and without. There is a wide range of activities, we have not had time and looked for something short. We chose a half hour interesting, fun and quiet chocolate tour and also get a few Linds at the end. Highly recommend

There is so much to see and do. That's cool for older kids. Would say 5+

What I really don't like is that the little train that goes through the area costs extra. That should be free for this entry, or at most 50Rp. I probably don't have to mention that food and drink are expensive .

I was here three years ago. In the time a lot was added, changed and additionally made. But also many old treasures I know for over 30 years are to be found.
The entrance is expensive with 32 Fr. rel. Therefore, it pays to look for perks. Combi tickets, Rail Away, Raiffeisen card not forget.
The terrain is huge, one day you can spend well here.
There are a lot of children's offers. They are thereby tempted to play without a mobile phone and Co.

Museum is nice, people are not. They say on the website they have boxes for dogs. They have two, and they are not big at all. But common people cannot use them, only Swiss people. So don't believe the website, unless you are Swiss born.

Great museum with many interactive exhibition parts and indoor and outdoor areas for all weather.
Unfortunately, many of the best attractions (or those with the best childhood memories) got away during the remodeling.

Anyone in Lucerne or longer in Switzerland should definitely stop by. Historically a lot to experience and for the little ones there are enough interactive and own children's stations. Important tip for the visit: be sure to buy an online ticket before the visit, otherwise you have to wait if necessary for a long time locally.

There is nothing special or exciting, everything was okay. This is perfect place for kids day out. Also good for enthusiasts about mechanical, aviation and navigation history. The planetarium is disappointed. The IMax show is good off-course that depends on the show you watched.

Excellent museum.

Excellent museum.

However, we paid 56 chfs each for a ticket that gained access to everything, but then still had to pay 2chfs each for the train and then extra for our 3 year old son to gain access to the planetarium.

Also, the ticket scanners did not work very well.

Next time we will just get the museum ticket.

The traffic museum is very diverse and structured. It has all kinds of traffic areas, from car vehicles to aerospace and watercraft. The cable transport is not neglected. I was only in the "Museum" the planetarium and I did not visit the theater. In the museum itself there are many opportunities to actively participate, including many simulators that you can try out. For the price it is definitely worth it to be here! I come from Mainz, Germany, so of course I had to photograph the Meenzer ship :).

A large and nice museum, it has a lot of activities for small children, but it does not have much innovation for older ones. It was disappointing to discover a number of attractions in the museum that require extra charge

Excellent for children, but for adults, not quite ... :-( There are a lot of exhibits that are just there without further information. I expected more information boards. The food in the restaurant tastes good and is good value for money.

Awaken the child in you - or let the eyes of your children shine. The Verkehrshaus Lucerne has both new and old trains, cars and a walk-in plane. In addition, you can touch and press a lot. Book a show at the iMax as well as at the Planetarium.

Place worth visiting if you have a half day at disposal. Swiss Excellency in transport and other amazing vehicles at display. If you are a automobile geek you need more time to explore. Try the Swiss jet simulator. Have fun.

As always, a nice visit to the exhibition. Many new things, so that even a long-time visitor is not bored. However, we had a wheelchair user with us and the operation of the stairlifts is more like tedious. We also asked a supervisor if she could help us as we could not cope. Unfortunately, he was busy at his post (6 meters away), so busy with 3D glasses, that he just said: A wheelchair user knows that he has no time! A high on this employee, who probably did not understand that also wheelchair users to "traffic of Switzerland" count. In addition, the Verkehrshaus is a service company !!! Without the numerous visitors to whom you can provide service and performance, would probably also close such a prestigious house at some point
!! Unfortunately THIS visit was disappointing for the reason mentioned above.
