I ve been a resident for 5 years and in the last year I ve noticed a huge decline in customer service. The office staff is rude and disorganized. I ve attempted to contact the regional manager for over a week with no response. Extremely disappointing.

If I could give less of a star I would of Citrus Run in Tampa Florida. Let s start by the apartments they are beautiful but looks can be deceiving. There is a bad silverfish problem on the property and mold due to the leaks in the building. As many times pest control comes and no matter how clean you keep your place they still come out and destroy your clothes. Also there are mice in the buildings and on the property. There has been some residents that I overheard talking about roaches also. The walls are paper thin you can hear everything. The manager she will be nice trying to close the deal but if you rub her the wrong way she will make your stay here horrible. She makes her own rules not the company rules. Many residents have had run ins with this manager and left because of this reason. The area stinks and there is a lot of homeless people that live in the bushes near the community. Kids drive on the property and smoke weed in the back of the property and also there was a time where people were going into the cars. Like I said it looks nice but be warned. The new management company is not good at all they care about making the property look good to take your money and make a flip on the profit. Hey take a stab at the 30 day guarantee and see for yourself.

I am writing this review in response to how things are being handled at the Citrus Run Apartments in Tampa, Florida. I have moved out last month and my SODA was closed last month. The manager does not know when or where my deposit is. I asked her to reach out to the corporate office to obtain a tracking number to ensure my check would be received in a timely manner. Shelby the property manager has made this a very uncomfortable and not so pleasant experience. I was a resident with this property before Venterra took over and have never had an issue with the management. I have emailed the regional 3-4 times no response and this is not professional. I really want to know why your onsite manager does not want to deal with people who disagrees with her behavior, she will talk over you and speak to you as if you are a child. She needs to have some customer service coaching because this is not the position for her. Shelby is really difficult if she was patient and understanding and have the ability to deal with different people we probably would not be here I would still be a resident. But hey you really can't expect much from a manager who tried to charge for an emotional support animal and discuss my medical issues outside of the office. Also a manager who tells others she does not like me not acceptable. Also a manger who failed to put in an emergency work order where I had to obtain a hotel out of my own money and I am still awaiting reimbursement for this. I was told that the maintenance man was very busy...REALLY!!!! I pay rent on time and I could not use my restroom for 4 days in a one bedroom. All of this is documented. I also will confirm that yes this property has a bad infestation of silverfish that are everywhere. Also there are mice and roaches the small brown ones on the property. I know of some residents that had them bad. But Venterra I have to say I am very disappointed in your management team from the Regional to the on site manager. I would like someone to contact me as soon as possible.

I ve contacted thier regional multiple times and I ve gotten 0 responses via email and left several voicemails it s been weeks will definitely be filing a lawsuit with Venttera living and will definitely use my social media as a platform to make sure no one that supports me and my brand support you guys this is absolutely disrespectful and distasteful.

Mold, ceiling falling down, water literally coming down the walls and management has been ineffective and dismissive to the dangers and heath risks.

I have contacted both manager and area manager to no avail.

Litigation appears to be my only recourse at this time.

The apartments itself have a great ambience. Low crime and is very clean. One could even deal with all the bats surrounding the apartment BUT what one can't deal with is the apartment manager. Just so there is no confusion which one Brenda Grasha! She is very sarcastic and very rude esp to people of other races! If you call her with a complaint by the end of the conversation the problem you called about did NOT get fixed but you most certainly probably got belittled by her! Oh and definitely never need a repair in your apt that has to come out of pocket or with more advance people because I'm telling you now you won't get it! It's ashamed to treat people so wrongly just because of their race or religion. Especially tenants who pay the rent every month on time no complaints! Smh if you move here better hope there is a different property manager corporate really needs to do an evaluation. Good luck all.

Wouldn't live at any Venterra property. Moved into mines Dec. 2020 had a leaky window in January 2021 that has yet to be fixed I have called them over 100 times literally not lying and never get a single call back from them at all the Property I stay at management lies and talks in circles about how they are going to get it fixed but never do. They close out my tickets without resolving the issues. 0/10 wouldn't recommend. Second apartments I've stayed at with water damage and management does nothing.
