I was misdiagnosed. I was given Morphine after my husband specifically told them more than once not to (turns out my liver was failing- who knows if this further complicated my condition). My husband's $130 heated hoodie for work was stolen. Time before that I was admitted to a room, first nurse and doctor told they could treat me, then discharged and transported less than 2 hours later. Second doctor had said no way did they have the means to treat me. Told me I had to go by ambulance, therefore medical necessity, then miscoded my trip and I was sent an $1800 transport bill my insurance won't even look at. Took bloodwork from me which was CONTAMINATED before transporting me to Cleveland UH Hospital. Doctors there spent 3 crucial days testing me for all kinds of bacteria, which had to be ruled out before I could be put on a list for LIFE SAVING surgery. Figured out and told my husband there was no infection, the tests at Cuy Falls had been contaminated in their lab somehow. I've received notice their doctor is sending a bill to collections, yet it was never even sent to my insurance. It's convenient, but don't be mistaken. They are not a true hospital. They can look you over and either dismiss you or send you to doctors elsewhere to treat you. Skip the middle man and head to Akron or Cleveland.

For annual blood work they billed insurance $1600. We're talking about a lipid panel and another test or two. The bill was so outrageous my Dr. immediately offered to comp the office visit where he ordered the blood work. Don't worry though no one at the hospital saw any issue with this bill. They stand as a perfect symptom for what is broken in our healthcare system.

My mom had an apt. We had trouble getting her in the car to go and had to call Springfield Fire Dept to help get her in the car. I tried to call to let them know and the message said they don't open til 9. So we got there they took her back then refused to see her because we were late! We tried to call. Horrible experience, thought hospitals were to help people

April 15th I went into Western Reserve Hospital for a major back Fusion. The decision was made after all other avenues were exhausted. Dr. Anton and his staff did an incredible job reconstructing my back. I felt a major difference immediately and even though the recovery will take most of this year I can't wait to get all I can from this procedure. The great care didn't stop in the OR. The Hospital staff, nursing care, rehabilitation staff were amazingly gracious in my 1 week stay post operation. I would easily recommend Western Reserve Hospital to anyone thinking of have a procedure. My procedure involved nurves and I couldn't be happier with my choice of Western Reserve Hospital.

This place is a joke. If you have the option to take your family member anywhere else, I would choose that option. Run by doctors, but unfortunately that is a joke. Poorly staffed. No staff on site to operate some of the equipment. An emergency room that sends people home instead of looking into the emergency. I will do whatever I need to to file a claim with the Ohio board. This hospital should not be operating and it is sad this is how we treat human beings. Sad to say this place was ran better under Summa

I had great experience with the staff when I was in the ER. But sadly after I wanted to get my test results and ran into issues. I was yelled at by staff about how their paperwork does not state about a follow up email to make an account and get your results. After the phone call I went back and double checked the paperwork. And as I thought the paperwork did state that I would have to get an email to get the results. I called back minutes later to speak to the same lady and conveniently she had not been there for the whole day?

My 95 year old mother was sent to the ED late one night. She was vomiting and nobody was helping her. I tried my best to clean her up and finally went to find some help. She was finally admitted. On her second day, I went over to visit but was denied access because she was placed in isolation status. It took me awhile before that mistake was corrected. This place is a dump. The main entrance staff is rude. My vet s office looks better!

Had surgery with Dr. Costas Apostolis...was very please with the care I received. I've had at least 16 surgeries and it's one of the first times I felt calm and not anxious going into surgery. Nice calm environment! Thanks everyone from Registraton to the nurse that pushed me out! Awesome job!

This hospital is the worst! AVOID AT ALL COSTS FOR ANY LONG TERM TREATMENT. THEY DO NOT WANT YOU TO GET BETTER. I was misdiagnosed multiple times to keep me in pain management.. They charged me $1,200 for a lidocaine shot when online lidocaine costs about 11$. Their pain management prescribes tylenol and ibuprofen for severe pain. The hip doctor I saw told me to go back to physical therapy with a labral tear because she didn't feel like doing her job. Now I am getting hip surgery next month with the crystal clinic. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.
