I was misdiagnosed. I was given Morphine after my husband specifically told them more than once not to (turns out my liver was failing- who knows if this further complicated my condition). My husband's $130 heated hoodie for work was stolen. Time before that I was admitted to a room, first nurse and doctor told they could treat me, then discharged and transported less than 2 hours later. Second doctor had said no way did they have the means to treat me. Told me I had to go by ambulance, therefore medical necessity, then miscoded my trip and I was sent an $1800 transport bill my insurance won't even look at. Took bloodwork from me which was CONTAMINATED before transporting me to Cleveland UH Hospital. Doctors there spent 3 crucial days testing me for all kinds of bacteria, which had to be ruled out before I could be put on a list for LIFE SAVING surgery. Figured out and told my husband there was no infection, the tests at Cuy Falls had been contaminated in their lab somehow. I've received notice their doctor is sending a bill to collections, yet it was never even sent to my insurance. It's convenient, but don't be mistaken. They are not a true hospital. They can look you over and either dismiss you or send you to doctors elsewhere to treat you. Skip the middle man and head to Akron or Cleveland.
