Went for the Sunday brunch. Food was excellent and the views were out of this world. Excellent service.

Great food, service and views of the ocean. Best time to hit it is between 4-5 for the early bird specials. You can't beat it. Everything that I've ordered on the menu is great!!! If you hit it right you can watch the whales breaching outside your window!!!

Great sport for a romantic date. Amazing service and specials. Food was to die for.

Came here for the first time on Valentine's day with my best friend. We got the lunch menu and there was plenty to choose from, but I decided to get the fish tacos and she chose the asada tacos. They also have a wide selection of wine, it was all delicious! The desert menu looked good too, I wish I had the tummy space to try every single one. The restaurant was very elegant, the restrooms were small but nice, and the bar looked nice from afar. And most importantly the ocean view was absolutely stunning!!! I high recommend walking to the balcony after you finish eating.

We went on Sunday evening. Couldn't get a table for Saturday. You need to book online. The Halibut ceviche was wonderful. We loved it. We had seabass and molcajete. The seabass was great and perfectly cooked. The molcajete was also good but more on the spicy side. Lots of meat and too much to eat for one person. It was evening so we couldn't see much outside. But this place surely has a fantastic view during the day. It took a while to get our food. We spent there 1 1/2 hours. Value for the money was fair.

The view alone is worth 5 stars.
This was our first time there. I will definitely go again. The prices are a bit high, but not too bad.
The good excellent. My husband preferred the Seafood Penne Pasta. He really enjoyed it. He is a clam lover.

We also got a free dessert for it being our anniversary. That was very nice nice.
Our waiter was Chad. He was very hospitable and came around just enough.
All in all, great experience, great food and a great view.
I recommend this restaurant 100%!

Love this place. Great food and the prices can fit into anyone s budget. The ocean views are spectacular and if you are lucky you can watch whales, seals, and dolphin right from your table!

It's the most disgusting food I've eaten, I got sick from how bad it was, it hurts very nice view and nice place but it's not worth it at all, 5 people and nobody likes me I never go back much less I recommend

The tequila lime chicken was amazing! Others in our party had the pumpkin nut encrusted seabass, sopas, tacos and salmon. We all were excited by our meals. The service was wonderful!

This spot simply knows how to satisfy their customers. Constantly with a very kind attitude. The food is conveniently priced, constantly delightful and neat.

Beautiful views. Excellent service. Reasonable prices on both drinks and meals. The food choices were decent and executed well. We waited about 35 minutes for a table around 6:30, but it was well worth the wait. I'd eat here again and would definitely recommend to others.

Incredible view! The food is great as well. My entree was crab crusted mahi mahi with creamed spinach- excellent! Love this place!

Fantastic seafood with a Latin flair and a killer view.

We called ahead to get on the wait list, and when we showed up, we went straight to a table with an incredible view. You could literally look straight down to edge of the sand. The service and food were insanely great. Margaritas redefined 5 stars. Zach was our server, and he was unbelievable.

Edit: When we tried this again, they wouldn't let us get on the wait list by calling ahead. So I had to hang up, walk over from the hotel, give them my phone number in person, then walk back. Great policy. Just let people join the list over the phone. Docking from 5 to 4 stars.

Had Dinner there. Such a nice place. Definitely going back to try out their Brunch.

The service? Amazing! The food? Fantastic! And if you ask for a view of the ocean, the view is awesome!

I had a hair in my food then gave me a plate with no food on it then gave a one scoop icecream with qhipcream all around it.

The food here was incredible, the view is unbeatable but service is not very good. Also, I called to ask specifically for a window table and they didn't give us one. Their Open Table booking works well but you also have to be able to accommodate for special requests and not give incorrect information over the phone.

Ventana Grill had excellent service and their food was excellent too.

Amazing dining experience! We sat outside on the patio and ordered drinks and appetizers. We sipped on coconut mojitos while watching the waves. Come early, walk in and hopefully get seated. They were booked all weekend in advance but we walked in and got seated! Try the clams or ceviche as an appetizer, the calamari was boring but had great dipping sauces. Service and waiters were very personable and friendly.

We enjoyed one of our best meals of our trip here! The service was exceptional- they really listened to special requests and delivered. The food was amazing- salmon was perfectly cooked, the Arrachera Steak & Shrimp Molcajete was such a wonderful mix flavors.
There was zero sunset due to the smoke and fog but a great experience none the less.

Excellent food hands down! Excellent service! You must make reservations! Or you could sit up at the bar which is most definitely not a negative thing in this establishment! Great people watching! The view is to die for, especially at sunset! Sitting at our window table, which was a very comfortable roomy booth, we could see whale spouts out in the ocean! Fantastic overall experience you shouldn't pass up!

Lousy service . We were told to wait for 45 mins at 8:10 p but with the warning that if they close at 9p and we are not seated we would be out of a dinner.
Bad attitude from the greeter who then directed us to the bar area behind her knowing fully well there was no space there

Well I'm by self this time looking for food and a view. The reviews looked good so here I am. Started out with the calamari appetizer. It came with lemon tarter sauce and chipotle aioli. The calamari was very tender and cooked just right. The breading was light yet crunchy and well seasoned. The chipotle aioli was my favorite but the tarter sauce was very good as well. Dinner was fish and chips with lightly battered halibut and home cut fries. Once again the breading was light, crunchy and seasoned well. Halibut is different for fish and chips and it was a nice upgrade. The fish was tender, flaky and a nice portion. The menu is very limited currently so take a look at my menu pics for up to date items. They are only seating outsideso there is a wait. Mine was 30 minutes but you can walk around and see the views and the hundreds of pelicans and seagulls. Totally enjoyed it. Thumbs-up .

Stopped here with my girlfriend for a nice dinner and drinks. Reasonable prices and a good selection of seafood and chicken alike. Fairly good deal on the beers on tap (something like $6 or $8 for a 22oz pour). Absolutely beautiful view out the windows and on the balcony - amazing for sunset. Only notable complaint is that they have retractable shades over the windows which stay down until a minute or two before sunset, somewhat obscuring the view. This is seemingly so the sun won't blind others in the restaurant, but I found it just encouraged more people to go outside on the balcony, often blocking the views for those inside once the shades were raised - because of that, I would say it would probably be best to just get drinks at the bar to take outside for sunset, then get a table (or make a reservation) for after sunset, so you can enjoy the view while it's still light out. Otherwise a great spot with free and fairly sufficient parking, friendly staff, good food and drinks. Will likely return if I'm in the area.

Amazing views, food was just okay. The chef could do much better and make this place awesome will just a little effort.

Gorgeous view and delicious food highly recommend the steak and shrimp molcajete. Also the Sunset cocktail was delicious! Freshly made tortillas are the best I've tried too all around a great experience. Can't wait to come back!

This place is definitely my favorite restaurant in Pismo Beach. Didn't know it existed until today and the dining experience made me forget everything else happening in the world. The staff was polite and attentive. The food was all fresh and they make most of their ingredients in house. If you are looking for the ocean right under your feet and amazing food I suggest coming here. Will be coming back very soon!

Had a window booth. Great views. Jalapeno martini was tasty hot. Clam chowder was flavorful with tender clams and a broth that didn't have an excess of flour. The chopped salad and red Ceaser salad with calamari were very good with very fresh and crispy greens.

Amazing seafood. And got to enjoy that while watching the whales in the ocean this summer.

To begin with the location is spectacular with an incredible view of the water and gorgeous coastline. The service was cheerful and patient. I was surprised how moderately priced the options were and my mole sliders were tasty. The potato wedges were a surprise with tortas, but they were also very good. Definitely somewhere I would bring guests to show off the area.

Absolutely beautiful restaurant with delicious food and a breathtaking view. We had the clam chowder, a burger and the ahi tacos! The service is absolutely phenomenal as well, our server was so sweet and attentive. Needless to say we will be returning when visiting again

I've eaten here twice, and the food has been great both times. Service has been great, and the views have also been awesome.

Their calamari is among the best I've ever had, and they're scallops are cooked just right. Great flavor in all the dishes I've tried here. I did have to wait a bit both times, but it was definitely worth the wait both times. Just get here a bit early and walk around outside and enjoy the view of the ocean. Come here to relax and take your time to enjoy yourself. This is one of those places you come to slow down a bit from a hectic day to day routine.
