I happened to be in the unfortunate event of having to claim on my cycle insurance for some accidental damage. This is something which you dread as this can take a long time and be a very long winded process. With Velosure - this was the opposite, it couldn t have been easier. I completed the claims form along with the pictures of damage original invoice and an estimation to complete the works. Prompt helpful service from my Velosure claims manager. Arranged for my bike to be transported to their carbon bike repair specialists, who also provided an excellent service. A very straightforward process all round, just as it should be.

Had an accident and thank God it was just the pedal damaged and the crank s thread was stripped. However, when I submitted my claim, they said that the repair and replacement fall under my excess. It was frustrating since I did not know that I have an excess. Where in fact when I bought my insurance, I opted to have no excess. Anyway, took another insurance company that does not have excess.

Unfortunately last year I had an accident which wrote off a carbon fibre frame plus some cycling clothing. Velosure settled my claim very quickly to the full amount without a quibble. I had to claim in 2019 due to cycle theft at my gym. Thieves had unbolted a bike stand. Within 2 weeks all was sorted and there was cash on my account. No hassle and very polite staff. Great work! To buyers of this policy: ensure you don t put your bike in your garage and expect to be covered. Common mistake made with all bike insurance policies.

I was recommended this Insurance company for my bike. Unfortunately due to circumstances I have been unable to ride the bike insured and haven't needed their services.

Only over 18's is not clear when getting a quote nearly paid for this and they wouldn't even have insured me.
