Crashed bike inexplicably while crossing teensy kerb. Mechanical damage. Sent in claim form and pics of damage, and claim settled without delay despite lockdown.

I had my bike stolen and fortunately insured it- with Velosure I received my claim money the following week. The team via email and phone were friendly, helpful and quick to reply.

This is my second year with this company, and my first, hassle free claim, I discovered my front suspension folks had snapped. I lodged a claim under accidental damage and about a week later it was settled and paid, all in only 3 emails, a refreshing change to my last claim with a different cycle insurer who refused to pay out when my bike was stolen, over a tiny technical detail... I have two bikes insured with Velosure. For a few pounds a month it gives me peace of mind that should I need to use their services then my claim will be dealt with promptly and professionally.

I happened to be in the unfortunate event of having to claim on my cycle insurance for some accidental damage. This is something which you dread as this can take a long time and be a very long winded process.

With Velosure - this was the opposite, it couldn t have been easier. I completed the claims form along with the pictures of damage original invoice and an estimation to complete the works. Steve confirmed that I was ok to proceed and once the final bill came in this was settled immediately payment processed on the same day (Friday) and was in my account on Tuesday morning.

Prompt helpful service from my Velosure claims manager. Arranged for my bike to be transported to their carbon bike repair specialists, who also provided an excellent service. A very straightforward process all round, just as it should be.

Had an accident and thank God it was just the pedal damaged and the crank s thread was stripped. However, when I submitted my claim, they said that the repair and replacement fall under my excess. It was frustrating since I did not know that I have an excess. Where in fact when I bought my insurance, I opted to have no excess. Anyway, took another insurance company that does not have excess.

Unfortunately last year I had an accident which wrote off a carbon fibre frame plus some cycling clothing. Velosure settled my claim very quickly to the full amount without a quibble. Recently I had a vintage 1980s steel bike stolen. Velosure also settled that claim as well without any fuss. I can recommend Velosure as an excellent insurance company for any cyclist.

I had to claim in 2019 due to cycle theft at my gym. Thieves had unbolted a bike stand. Within 2 weeks all was sorted and there was cash on my account. No hassle and very polite staff. Great work! To buyers of this policy: ensure you don t put your bike in your garage and expect to be covered. Common mistake made with all bike insurance policies.

Unfortunately due to circumstances I have been unable to ride the bike insured and haven't needed their services.

Only over 18's is not clear when getting a quote nearly paid for this and they wouldn't even have insured me.
