The customer service has improved tremendously in the last 1-2 years at the service center. They got me in within 48 hours notice and the difference in staff hired since I was last there was a good move. They took really good care of me and I will come back as long as they keep up the great service!

-100 stars. These people are crooks and I've reported them to the appropriate authorities. Doing my due diligence by posting a review here as well. I should have paid more attention to the negative reviews before going there, but it's always difficult to know how to judge the positive reviews vs. the negatives; however, after experiencing the hell they put me through, I absolutely believe they DESERVE EVERY NEGATIVE REVIEW they get and it blows my mind that others have walked out with good experiences.

I spent 3 evenings at Van Hyundai in the process of getting my Hyundai. The first night I walked out because after 4 hours of waiting on my salesperson going back and forth from my table to his managers to get answers for literally every question I had and offering ridiculous "deals", I was fed up. They called me the next day to offer me the price I wanted (as advertised online) and I proceeded to spend another 3 hours sitting at the dealership that evening waiting on them to actually give me that price (when I arrived, suddenly that price/car was no longer available, yada yada yada). We finally agreed on a car and price and the sent me into Finance, which is where the real "fun" began.

Every sketchy, crooked tactic you've ever heard of and more is practiced by this dealership. Not only was Darius personally demeaning and condescending, he wrote me up a contract that included a high-priced warranty I did not want and could not afford (which I explained to him before the contract was made). I realized this after having signed, at which point he grabbed it and started writing a new one. He refused to let me write VOID or watch him shred the old contract despite my request, saying "there's cameras in here recording video and audio, I can't do anything illegal" with a smirk on his face. He wrote the second contract, minus the Platinum warranty, I signed, and went home.

In combing through my contract the next day, I discovered that he had actually written it so that I was FINANCED for the all-in price we had discussed; previously, I had stated multiple times that I wanted to provide a down payment of $2000 to help with financing/paying off the car. Instead, the contract was written for an all-in price of 2-grand MORE than the all-in price we had agreed on. I planned to return the car if I did not get the price originally agreed upon.
By the third contract, I was fully prepared for more crooked shenanigans. Since I was alone that day, I asked Darius if I could call my dad before signing, just to go through it with him and make sure everything was absolutely correct this time around. I was told it was illegal for me to do so, and that I would have to sign the contract first and then walk out of the finance office before calling my dad, otherwise the deal was off. I went through the contract as comprehensively as I knew how, signed it, walked out to the floor, called my dad, went through it with him, and determined it was ok. Looking back, I wonder what would have happened if I found an error - would Darius have refused to correct it?

Also of interest is this: between the second contract and third, I was given a simple Word document that stated (in so many words) that both parties of any contracts made prior to this point were absolved of any terms in those contracts. I signed the document and asked for a copy of my own, which Darius refused to provide despite my several pleas. Last time I checked, I'M ALLOWED TO HAVE A COPY OF ANY DOCUMENT WITH MY SIGNATURE ON IT, CORRECT??? Apparently not at Vandergriff Hyundai.

Such a disillusioning experience. Many in my family are loyal Hyundai customers and I can only hope this is not a reflection of the Hyundai corporation as a whole. If you are wanting a decent car-buying experience, peace of mind, and RESPECT, this place doesn't even merit a place at the bottom of your list.

BUYERS BEWARE!!! My wife and I spent 4 days trying to work this dealership. I inquired about a Red 2019 Santa Fe SEL and Lily a sales rep said they have one available on their lot. Drove 2 hours on a Saturday to the dealership only to find out it s wasn't ready yet because it was missing a gas cover. Lily said if we do the paper work now they can order the part and have it installed in two days. This is where things starting going in a downward spiral. During our credit application process the financial director asks my wife if she has a work permit or if she s a DACA recipient. We told him that she s a US Citizen born here in Texas. He laughed about it and didn t even apologize to her for his assumption. He just said to send him copies of her social security card and they will attach it to the application. Then after we completed all the paper work I saw that they Bait and Switch us with another Santa Fe from a different dealership plus they tried charging us $2,000 more than what was listed on their website. So on Monday I confronted the manager Hector about the switch and he said yes they had to order the SUV from a different dealership because they couldn t sell me the one they had. We waited two hours for them to fix our paper work and they were only able to give us a price that was a few hundred dollars more than their online price. They said they weren t able to match it because they would lose out on money and they had to pay for transport fees. So we settled on it because we didn t want to spend our whole Monday at the dealership and they would let us know when our SUV would be ready. Two more days went by and still no word from the dealership so I reached out to Hector and he said it was ready for me to pick it up. When I got to the dealership Hector told me for my troubles that would send us a $200.00 gift card and it would be mailed to us. A month went by and still no gift card. Hector reach out to me asking if I could complete a survey with perfect responses in order for us to pass which was odd because the whole car buying experience was nothing but a hassle. I told him I never received a survey or the $200.00. Hector said he will request the $200.00 through their account office and resend the survey. Another month went by and still no survey or gift card. So I reached out to Hector again and he said because I didn t complete the survey they cannot honor the $200.00. I told him I never received a survey and they should still honor us the $200.00 for all the hassle and trouble they put me and why wife through. He said he would see what he can do to accommodate but haven t heard from him since and that was back on November 14, 2018. All this dealership really cares about is making a sale and trying to charge you the most they possibly can instead of trying to build honest relationships with customers.
I will definitely never come back to this dealership again and I will be sure to let everybody know to stay away from all Vandergriff dealerships.

Biggggg ups to Vandergriff Hyundai Arlington. I had a horrible upside down loan with Capital one on my 2013 Hyundai Elantra. I got in contact with Robert Stone over the phone and was scheduled an appointment same day . When coming into the dealership I was help and directed to Robert immediately. Robert worked aggressive to get my loan and interest rate at an comfortable payment, he made sure I got a very reasonable amount on my trade in . When being directed to the Finance manager Fernando Baltazar the experience got even better . He got me extended warranty , gap insurance, MPP warranty for only $15 more . Amazing customer service and amazing experience. I would recommend this dealership to anyone !!!!

Lou Margetis partnered with me to get my first new car, and he definitely went the extra mile to work with what I had to get me a great deal. He helped me to purchase exactly what I wanted, and in a fast manner. I was impressed with his customer service in the fact the he treated me as if I was his own flesh and blood. I will for sure be coming back to work with Lou in the future. This is one great salesman whom you can trust to get you exactly what you want!

All the tools on their website mean nothing. Don't waste your time. Trade amount they offered for my car was $2000 less than amount shown if the car was in terrible condition. Price shown for the car I was buying was higher. Then there is the $2995 add on that's not shown anywhere for items you do not need. If you're not smart enough to have left by now, they will try and convince you the interest rate you got pre approved for is not real and you need to go with theirs. If you're still desperate enough to take the deal, just wait till you get to finance. You will be badgered to buy any and every add on warranty. And I mean they don't quit. I bought a car here a couple of years ago and the experience couldn't have been better. What a difference a couple of years makes. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. You can get treated just as well at a tote the note lot.

I was very pleased with the service that I received from my Sales Person Darius Carter and the finance guy Bernardo. The entire experience was pleasant. Darius helped walk me through the entire process from picking out my car, negotiating financing terms, and even helped me sync my phone to the Bluetooth in the car. Bernardo (who I met several months ago when my daughter bought a car) was great and walked me through the finance and closing process with great integrity. I highly recommend the team at Vandergriff Hyundai if you are looking for a pleasant and honest team to assist in purchasing a new vehicle.

The car was kept for 2 and a half days to diagnose the problem. I had said beforehand what the problem most likely was and to check there first to pinpoint the problem. I called the next day to get an update and I was told they still couldn't find the problem. I told them again where to look and it took until the next day in mid afternoon to tell me what they found. I don't think it should've taken that long to diagnose the problem.

This dealership will try to sell you a car with missing parts. Once I found out about the missing parts I requested to be reimbursed. They said that they would reimburse me for the parts and labor but apparently they have no intention of paying anyone back.

The last car was our very first lease car && liked it so much decided to do it again. Employees were friendly and helped us get the deal we wanted as senior citizens.

The facility was clean. Ultimately, the staff I worked with was nice. I'm happy with my purchase, however, during a pandemic none of the staff wore masks. There was NO hand sanitizer to be seen. I stood in the lobby and waited at least a solid 5 minutes before I was approached by anyone. I thought that was odd, no one wants to sell a car?!?

I have already written 1 review and emailed Ryan Rios the manager. He never responded to me, but I did receive a call from another manager who Ryan had call me. My issue has made no progress in over a week and I have emailed Ryan 3 times with no response. There is no ownership by the team that I do get to talk to. Since the leadership will not take the time to call or email, it shouldn't surprise me. If the manager wont take ownership of their issues, why would the team.

As everybody knows when you go to buy a car they dread the stress and the paperwork and everything you have to do well at Vandergriff Hyundai I did not find that problem from the salesman showing the car explaining all the controls and how they work to going inside he asked questions did paperwork the guy that did the financing and other ones that explained other things everybody was calm stress free and very helpful and friendly they were all happy people not hard-nosed or feeling bad it made for buying a car very stress-free and if I have to buy another car and it's a Hyundai I will go back to Vandergriff Hyundai to buy it for these reasons.

Amazing dealership if you're in the market for any Hyundai vehicle. Kirby Collins was the best car sales man I could have possibly found in the entire DFW metroplex! Very respectful gentlemen and always worked in my favor until he got me my asking price! Finance is tricky, so just be careful, but ASK for Kirby, he'll get you the price you want! Overall great experience, and customer service was so great, that I'll be back soon if I ever need another vehicle.

Wonderful place to buy! They have transparent pricing no games. It isn't an all day ordeal to purchase from Vandergriff and the entire staff I encountered was friendly and courteous. I drove a couple of hours to save a few thousand! Will definitely be a repeat customer. BUY FROM THIS PLACE, YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT! Also the finance department wasn't pushy with a bunch of junk not needed like some dealerships like to do!

Got here @ 7:30 its 8:45 and still no car.....all I came in for was an oil change. Glad I told them I didn't need a car wash. That service would tack on another hour.
I ask myself why I come back but I paid extra for free oil changes I guess this is the price you pay.

I'm only giving one star cause I have to in order to leave this review! I called and spoke to someone about a car and scheduled and appointment to come in on a Saturday cause I had work all day Friday! I had a text from the Used car sales manager asking for the vin for my trade and if i could send some pics of my car cause I wanted to talk numbers before submitting an application! Well for starters you are irrelevant to them if you aren't there in person and I wasn't calling into work so I could! The communication is terrible within that dealership! They drop the ball and then play the blame game! It went from me wanting to see about the appraisal of my vehicle and my negative equity that I wanted to know about before pursuing the application process to me getting notifications about my credit being ran! I called several times and no one had the same information as to what was going on and why my application was processed before talking to me about my appraisal! This went on all day Friday! I received a call this morning to ask if I heard that the car I was looking into was already sold!! I guess if you come in to the dealership and have more money to put down then your application takes priority! So this dealership eagerly ran my application without talking to me about my appraisal first and seeing if I wanted to pursue! And then ended up selling the car last night at which point discussion of an application already being on the car was never brought to my attention when I spoke to the manager last night at 740! This dealership is terrible! And not to mention they run the hell outta your application! Very unprofessional and poorly organized dealership! I will not recommend this dealership to anyone I know!

I give Vandergriff 2.5 stars out of 5. I will give the technicians 5+ stars for always diagnosing my 2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe quickly and getting it back to me in a timely manner. What I take exception with is when I take my car in for a repair, when I am called by the service adviser with the diagnostics for my car and what the repair will cost, I am hit with a bill that is $200-$300 more than what I was told by the service adviser.
When I had a CPM replaced, back in November, I was quoted one price ($650) and when I went to pick it up, the bill was over $850. I was shocked. The service adviser got it brought back down to $650. .Same thing happened today. I was quoted $870 when service adviser called on Tuesday with diagnostics and price, and today, when I went to pick it up, it was over $1100. They finally knocked $100 off but that is just ridiculous. If the price changes from what you quote me, you had better call me and tell me why. Why is it so difficult for Vandergriff Hyundai to give accurate and honest pricing? ? I own 6 other cars, 5 of different makes, and I have no problem with faulty pricing from dealerships or independent mechanics (Ford, Jeep, Lincoln, Dodge, Chrysler). Not impressed.

I had great experience with Vandergriff! I checked four other dealerships before coming here and I had met some very annoying sales reps in two of them (2 other dealerships) who would spend half an hour to make me fill the form with my name, contact info, ask me how much money I have (before even showing me the car), talking about payment options etc when I just came to check the car I saw online. Before going to Vandergriff, I called and asked if the car I wanted was available, and Andy was able to answer to all questions very quick and detailed and as soon as I arrived he had car ready for the test drive. Was super happy he didn t waste my time when I arrived with paperwork and forms etc. He also didn t try to pitch after the test drive, I am really not a fan when sales ppl do that. That being said, I am totally happy with the costumer experience and my purchase! and I would highly recommend to work with Andy M. if you want to have smooth experience in buying a car!

We love our Santa Fe, and will be back to give her our business in the future. The customer service was amazing and we are very happy with our experience at Vandergriff Hyundai.

I am never trusting anyone else with my car again. After I took my car to get an oil change my check engine light came on. Come to find out the experts that changed the oil used the wrong oil filter. Thanks to the service team at Vandergriff Hyundai I was able to get this fixed and it was done so quickly.

Ask for Patrick Mburu!!! We went in to get a used car with strict restrictions and Patrick got us in the brand new car of our dreams. He took all the information and made exactly what we wanted and he promised happen. Actually he exceeded that expectation without being misleading once. Vandergriff Hyundai made a task that s usually dreadful very simple and cost effective. Thanks again for all the fabulous perks with the new car!

Kenny pham sales manager was instrumental throughout the buying process as well.
