Van der Valk Hotel Schiphol A4 Review

In the old part there is quite an unpleasant smell, the purity puts a lot to wish only saves their fitness gym, swimming pool and two saunas, nli price also as far as possible;)

Very spacious, nicely furnished hotel friendly service, delicious buffet selection.

Clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff and nice breakfast.

The hotel itself was fine, but the airplane bus had to have 1 ora, a bus practically missed.

Presence of the airport harmful no good insulation. Woke up at 7:30 due to work in the corridor. Otherwise big hotel with lots of room but do not forget that if you come to a hotel it is to rest so schedule the work otherwise

15 minutes south of airport, shuttle bus to and from airport good clean rooms, restaurant good selection and reasonable price. Other options for eating within walking distance

One of my favorite place to stay in during trip to Amsterdam. Balcony with the rooms is a big plus for smokers. Excellent breakfast. Shuttles to n from schipol is very convenient.

Spa and indoor pool included. Rooms are nice and clean , staff friendly. Room service, nice verandahs on lower level floors, shuttle to and from airport every 40 mins.

Very nice room, perfect shuttle service to and from Schiphol and good food for not too expensive. Furthermore, very nice facilities such as a swimming pool, sauna and steam bath all included in the price.

The fact that the car can remain standing for free for 31 days makes it really a top hotel.

Okay rooms but watch out for Amsterdam hotel transfers .. Complicated especially when there is no train! We had to take Uber back and lose 80

Rooms were average but breakfast were really good and i would say in my experience I had best breakfast they served well and many varieties which were the best part of the this hotel........... Reception and entrance were bit old and out of trend which shows bad impression when you enter first ..... terrace were dirty and smelly but rooms were clean and nice ..... over all I would give 7/10 ....

The location is great and very close to the airport. Although not a very new hotel, the room is spacious and there are plenty of breakfast options.

Great value. Huge bedroom and shower room. Great desk for working too. Terrace was a bonus. Mine was clearly a refurbished room. Had a meal in the Bistro bar which was excellent too. Timely shuttle service to /from the airport too

Really bad service, very unfriendly, drove all the way here 2h 15 min and then we are not allowed to enter, never experienced worst hotel ever !!!

Wonderful beds, good location. Very busy at breakfast.

We stayed in a luxury 3 person names. This was spacious and had a bath and separate shower. The beds drag fine. Less successful was the rather present climate control in the room that was quite loud. Also the room was noisy, especially from the room of the neighbors there was a lot of noise. We had slept here before and had no trouble then. Apparently the neighbors were noisier than normal. Checking in was especially efficient, I lacked a little personal approach. In itself a great hotel.

Super great hotel!

The hotel room was clean and, as promised, there was a parking space at the hotel. You didn't hear the motorway at all and the free bus from the hotel drove every 40 minutes. From the airport you could easily drive to the city center for 5 euros. The sauner and the small swimming pool was very pleasant and not overcrowded. I can recommend the hotel to couples.

For a frequent traveller, this hotel was out of my expectations... the rooms facade and interior is very eerie... difficult to navigate going up and down, our room is filthy, carpeted but no slippers provided inside the room telephone is not working, airconditioning is not properly working, that we need to open our door to get some cold air...we are assigned on a ground level with facing the unmaintained garden...
I have reported this issue to the reception but could not do anything...

Good location, especially for motorists. Good standard and good cuisine. The pool and SPA are a nice addition.

On the positive side there was a free airport shuttle every hour. On the negative side it's in the middle of nowhere if you don't have a car. The onsite restaurants and bars were pricey. I self catered a bit but it's hard without a fridge. The pool was great.
