Nice and driven staff. Good and tasty food. Beautiful desserts. In a word recommended.

Eaten here with a company and unfortunately very poor food for vegetarians and vegans. Apart from the menu, there is little that can be prepared. Pity

A night out, a bite to eat at restaurant van der Valk; we went for the dinner buffet .....
Neat reception, immediately provided with a drink and the glasses are kept neatly full, despite the fact that this is included in the price.
The food was not really bad, but not very special either.
What was especially striking was the time pressure; An hour and a half after the start, people began to clear the buffet; we were in early, but if you come a little later you have to continue eating!
The dessert buffet consisted of a number of (ice cream) cakes, but they were not pre-cut; the result was a battlefield.

The price was, because the drinks were included, at 40, - p.p. not very expensive; children free on Sundays, but less time pressure would be welcome.

Not a second time for us, but perhaps we will try the normal restaurant again.

When driving to the hotel a small minus point the hotel was poorly signposted to reach it (there is namely road works) could have been better and clearer
At check-in nothing else but praise quickly clear and we were immediately asked what time we wanted to have dinner (this had to be reserved)
When we arrived on the floor, we smelled a strange smell, which we did not like very much
Everything in the room was in perfect order
neat and clean how a room should look like and no strange smells
the food was excellent staff friendly and helpful
So a hotel to return to

I am here every Friday morning for a Bni networking meeting with entrepreneurs. The room is always well organized and there is a variety of breakfasts. It can be healthy or less healthy.
The staff is also always helpful.

Good place to stay, quiet but not so far away from the centre

Delicious eaten and never lasts too long. A pity that you always get one skimpy dish of fries ..

As a staff outing we had a room with a running buffet. The room lacked some atmosphere and felt bald. We also missed background music. Food was fine just like the service. Unfortunately, not all drink choices were available upstairs. All in all a not special, but just had a nice evening.

Sleep well at van der valk Ridderkerk! Easy system with a pass in front of the door to open the door. The lift also needs a pass, so no unwanted guests can come close. The beds and pillows are nice and soft and the blanket nice and warm. The room itself was nice and cozy and had a large TV with lots of channels to watch. The bathroom had a walk-in shower and a separate bath. The employees were also very nice. The breakfast is more than good to do at van der valk! A wide choice of bread, spreads, fruit, yogurt and many other options. Was very sorry to have to go home again ...

It was a succession of errors from the ministry. We were eating out with a large group. It was not communicated that we belonged as a group. As a result, orders were mixed up, or everything came too late. Orders from other tables were also placed at our table and vice versa. In short, the service was a disaster.

Was wonderful to spend the night there. Good beds spacious room. The food in the evening was also very good and the breakfast was certainly to your liking.

Very nice hotel with nice rooms. It was a pity that the room was not ready on arrival and that there had to be a long wait for an available room. However, service is very good.

Good hotel to stay. Great reception, good restaurant. Downside is the noise of the room.

The food was lovely, however I ordered a tea in which I was brought a cup of hot water with no tea bag. I then ordered a bottle of coca cola and then continued to wait for said coke for 20 minutes

Had a very good stay at Van Der Valk Ridderkerk. The rooms were very clean and the bathroom was very, very nice. The breakfast was also fine and something for everyone. We will come back here for sure!

Had a very nice high tea babyshower. Nicely dressed by Van der Valk himself (and a little bit supplemented by ourselves) and enjoyed a delicious high tea with also delicious snacks.

I just want to say something. We regularly come to vd Valk in Ridderkerk to our complete satisfaction. But yesterday with 6 people went to the live cooking dinner and we all had a bad feeling about it. The food was not to your liking and the entourage was not good. Even no waxine lights in the holder. A waste of our money and of the evening. Last week I went to live cooking brunch in Nieuwerkerk with 7 people and that was great, but unfortunately. Kind regards, Ron van Hauwe

Sunday, September 10, 2017 equally delicious food, food ordered with the mention no fries but only fried potatoes.
As a diabetic, insulin is administered knowing that you will be served your food in the foreseeable future. Insulin administered for the baked potatoes, pork tenderloin and the vegetables do not contain any carbohydrates. It turns out that the potatoes are raw, employee addressed and raw potatoes are served for the second time, another employee comes to the table and makes an apology. Finished the whole story, paid and don't come here again. From regular (twice a week) to lost customer !!

Few parking spaces available during the day. The food is less good if you are used to a vd valk restaurant on average.

Very friendly welcome, great food and very nice and clean rooms. Stayed here with the Rotterdam marathon.
