Van der valk is a hotel and restaurant in one and you have a lot of different food in the restaurant. You have gluten-free and vegetarian food. The staff is nice and quick. Ordering food in a group of 5 takes only fifteen minutes and you have food on your table. To a simple dish to a large dish does not matter. The hotel is good nice beds the room service is fast. The breakfast is good enough for a hotel like this. I would not recommend it just for the price. That's why they get four stars from me

We have eaten with a party there but staff that you have spilled the mice through the dining room and fish so badly that you have half a plate of trash parts of a dish with one and not with the other. complaints about this not taken seriously I have never made this with anything. about the complaints you will not even be sorry for the inconvenience. !!!

Dinner that came with it was delicious and you could choose from the entire menu, although at other chains this is often a stripped-down version of the menu. We also thought along with us because we were going to a concert. We had not reserved a van in advance, but we could come along! Top. As a result, we had to eat three courses in one hour and that was also possible. Kitchen and service made it possible.
The choice is enormous at breakfast! Meat, fish, vegetarian, fresh fruit, etc. Even a bowl of oatmeal was possible.

We really liked the hotel. The rooms are super nice and big. There is an atrium, all around are the rooms. It's really great and very cozy. There is a shower AND a bathtub and it's clean and everyone is very friendly!

The hotel is located directly on the motorway (but nothing can be heard from, on the contrary),
The only disadvantage: it is a bit away from the center! It's half an hour to town by bike.

We were always helped and tried to do our best. We got a Prosecco for dinner.
All in all we enjoyed it very much.

We arrived around 1600 and were interested in dishes from the lunch menu (1100 to 1700) that we had seen online beforehand.

However, we only got the dinner menu, of which we ordered the fish salad and deer pastrami.

The quality of the ingredients is excellent. The salad is well filled, the pastrami plate lacked variety (perhaps should have been served as a salad as well).

All in all, great experience, but you pay for that.

Delicious eaten. Participated in Brunch. More often at vd Valk Dordrecht. Both fine. They are much smaller for Ridderkerk. This also makes it more pleasant and quiet. Food was fine in terms of quality and range, less than in Dordt, but still more than adequate. The big difference with Dordt was the separation between main course and dessert buffet. This was clearly separated here. Main course was cleared and then the dessert was displayed. All looked well cared for. Staff was also very friendly. Also for decorating cupcakes for children.

Room perfectly fine. Location for going out in Rotterdam is perfect. Bus stops almost at the door. Breakfast is chaotic; space, just like the bar, seems too small for the number of guests, queues for coffee machines and the like. It seems that too few staff are running for clearing and tidying tables for subsequent breakfasters.

Nice rooms only when you are dependent on public transport then this is not a nice location because you have to walk a long way to get somewhere.
