Was there for a meeting. The conference rooms were nicely decorated, the bar was nice and the waiters friendly. The food in the restaurant (buffet) was really good and regularly you were asked if everything was OK or to pick up empty plates. Overall, it was a really nice experience. The only downside is that there are conference rooms everywhere and it was not really clear where we had to be.

Nice hotel and good location along the highway. Nicely decorated and spacious rooms. Have been here several times. All experiences were fairly positive. Cleanliness was not always good. Lots of dust or a strange odor in the room.

For wheelchair users, it is good to know that there is no lift between the staircase of the restaurant and the sleeping area (there is a covered corridor underground). You can go outside which is a disadvantage in bad weather.

Refurbished, spacious comfortable rooms and beds. Spacious bathroom with large walk-in shower (some rooms have a bathtub instead of a shower). Friendly staff, very good food, wide selection at breakfast. Some parts are still somewhat dated (stairwell) but in the rooms and restaurants there is nothing to notice.

Day in Utrecht and ten minutes by car to Van der Valk hotel. Highly recommended, good food, swimming pool, and beautiful rooms. Another advantage is parking at the hotel and service to say the least. Prime location x

Christmas brunch was very disappointing at this location. Is not the staff but the space is just not suitable.
Too small a corner where you can grab food for too many people. Everyone waits nicely in a row to stand then in a row between the tables where others are eating. Do you want that when you sit at the table that others are watching over your shoulder?
In addition, the choice is limited.
This location would be better off with a la carte.
The hotel is central and the staff is good. The hotel is dated and the meeting rooms in the basement are not areas where you would like to be. There are also meeting rooms on the 1st floor that are better.

Great food and very friendly staff. No question was too crazy. We even weighed things up especially for our daughter with diabetes t1. A restaurant for the somewhat older guest when you see the menu.

Delicious eaten. The meat was nice and tender and the vegetables tasty.

Great hotel with very good service and a very cozy bar.
I travel a lot and I really love the excellent cappuccino's from Van Der Valk, but unfortunately here it is 'just' average (too much milk, poor cream/schuimlaag).
We come here more often, and it never disappoints. Service is good, you really feel like a guest. You can also go for a nice walk, so you can walk straight into the forest.
Van der valk always just good food is not special but just always delicious. service always excellent and what you still go for is the cherry on the apple sauce.
October 12th had a nice party in the Vollenhove room. The food was delicious and super service. Especially waiter Jan and his female colleague were great! We would like to come back to De Biltsche Hoek. The Wendt family from Loosdrecht.
Brunch: when booking indicated that a guest with celiac disease (gluten intolerance) is present, but this has not been taken into account in advance. Also the staff (even from the kitchen!) Had little knowledge about what was gluten free and what was not. They did have gluten-free sandwiches, but they had to be asked for this. In the end there was something to eat, but it was not a pleasant experience.
Nice hotel with the most required facilities where they also do not fall short. Nice restaurant with a wonderful informal atmosphere. Everything is easily accessible from the main entrance that is not on the street side. Friendly staff available.
