Rollercoasters and water slides couldn't be more fun
Honestly the most fun I've had for awhile! Lots of rides, and getting the all-inclusive pass if you can afford it (99.99usd) is a really good idea if you plan on being there basically from open to close.
Best amusement park in Minnesota. The water park is nice for a hot day. Parking is like $15 which seems a little crazy.
Awesome experience with the kids. Bought our tickets online and saved. Paid the extra 3 bucks to drink pop all day so worth it.
It's a great place to enjoy the entire fun filled day! Food & Drink prices are a bit steep - but manageable if you do the all day meal & drink plan! Best 40.00 spent! The attached water park is a nice change from all the rides, and included with the park entrance fee.
My family and I always have a great time at Valley Fair!
This place was a lot of fun although we had only and hour and 45 minutes to cover as much as we could. We were able to get on 7 rides, luckily the lines were short. 3 were roller coasters, one was the electric pendulum swing(which all of us agreed was the most thrilling) and 3 more fun rides. The rides are close to each other which is a bonus. There's bumping cars for kids. We all loved the place and would definitely go there again.
Took a large group of students for education week. Overall, it was pretty good, but lots of different things around the park were closed (rides, restaurants, shops, etc). We were a little disappointed that we had come so far and didn't get to experience everything.
The park was shut down for the weekend by my sister in law's employer. It was really nice and convenient as the lines for rides weren't long at all. The only thing was that a lot of the food stands weren't open, not sure if it was due to lower amount of people attending that day or what. Also, they need more stands that offer cheese on a stick! I spent all day searching for it only to find out they sell it at one stand, near the Wild Thing. There were a TON of bees! They need to reevaluate their pop dispensers as it's not safe for someone allergic like myself.
I had a really fun time riding the rides and going to the arcades. It was a great time for me and my family.
Lines look longer than they actually are, average wait time 10minutes.
It was amazing... We had so much fun... We rode the Renegade last at night in the dark, and it was scary and exciting... We loved it water park is included... Great for all ages...
Its a big big theme park. You pay once and you can ride any kind of ride you want. You can buy different types of passes to get to rides faster.
The waits are not long on the weekdays. Only downside is there is rarely anything new here.
It was overcast and there was a light drizzle for about 5 min with a little thunder in the distance but no lightning and they decided to shut down all the rides down for over an hour. Definitely won't going there again if there is a cloud in sight. I can understand the importance of safety, but come on... Felt like they were just trying to get everybody into the food stands/shops to spend more money on a slow day... (late evening, early in the summer)
Very fun place. Not sure why they charge for parking in the suburbs.. Buy your tickets online because they will charge you more at the door. You're already there, why not take advantage of you.
Had a great time. Picnic in the parking lot...food is expensive.
This place while fun is a money pit. 17 bucks to park on top of the outrageous fee to get in? To rent a locker...15 and 20 bucks! Ouch. Waited for french fries for 20 plus minutes even though we were third in line. I think there were only three people manning the booth. By the time we got our food there were 20 people waiting. Rides were fun lines not too long. Again overall fun but just way too expensive.
A decent selection of both large scale amusement park rides and small town fair rides. Parking is a bit expensive but they have a fantastic selection of rides. I have not tried the water park yet.
Always a fun kid place in summer, gets a little crazy during ValleyScare
Super fun place, especially when the lines aren't super long. Food is very expensive though
Best customer service. Jocelyn Garcia was an angel. Maybe it s not poor customer service, it s just poor customer. I had a great time.
I liked Zach that worked at Excalibur at the end of night made my day:)
Very Clean and fun park! Employees are very properly dressed, absolutely professional and clean.. A+++!!!! I love the security before entering. The rides are clean and fun! Waterpark is incredible! Family absolutely loves it!!
Awesome waterpark and fun rides!! Great food and drinks.
The park was an incredibly fun way to spend a day with the kids. The food was overpriced and only ok, but to be expected from a venue like this. The wave was a blast and the blend of all 3 parks and activities made it fun for all ages and interests.
Love love love this place!!! I have been going since I was 5 years old and I have continued the tradition with my children
Backyard BBQ is overpriced and you don't get much to choose from. The rides are fun.
Getting a season pass is a no-brainer. Already paid for itself 3 fold. Rides are fun, water park a blast. Never boring.
Valley Fair has a great Halloween attraction every fall. It's a must see.
My family and I have been season pass members for years and they get better and better every year. The pass is the way too go if your a ride goer. You save tons of money.
Awesome place. Lots of good foods including Turkey legs! And wanna ride roller costers?, Go to this fun Valley Fair. Lots of parking spots.
Cool rides, and the food is reasonably priced. Lots of fun.
So disappointed cost 150.00 to get in then I pay for a green cup to have refills and I'm told there out so I need to go to another stand went to about five and no one had one then I go to subway and there charging 17.00 for a freaking sub and they didn't even have all the breads or meat just so disappointed most likely won't go back cheaper to go to the fair or ren fest
they do not refund when it rains, no matter if every single ride is off and it ISNT RAINING. i went here for my birthday and it was extremely disappointing when nothing was open and nobody in the customer service booth knew WHEN it was suppose to open, and apl during this there was not a single raindrop falling from the sky.
Very fun, but way too expensive. I can only go once or twice a year because it's too much.
It s Valleyfair. What is there to say besides that?
Clean, family environment that hasn t really changed in the 40+ years it s been open. Rides always look new and well cared for. Fun roller coasters.
If you think you are going to go to VF more than once in a year, get the gold pass in the fall as a Christmas gift. Free parking saves you $17. Plus you can leave anytime. You don t feel you have to make a day of it to get your money s worth. The kids and I will pop down to VF when it opens at 10, stay for 2 hours or so, then leave and get lunch and go home.
The only negative, besides the outrageous food prices, that I have is that the Tilt-a-whirl doesn t work properly. I ve had a gold pass for 5 years and have been there a lot. This is the worst tilt-a-whirl I ve ever been on. The problem is the drive is going too fast. So the cars never get to spin. Most of the ride everyone is just looking at each other across the middle because no one is spinning.
The most common phrase you will hear from people exiting the tilter is well that sucked . I ve emailed management every year about this same problem with no results.
So, if you are a tilt-a-whirl connoisseur like myself, prepare to be completely disappointed.
Every other ride at the park is a lot of fun. So there s that.
so so fun! so many rides and places to eat, they also have tons of different games and rides for all ages.
It is a really great place for family/friends to get together and have some fun
Customer service sucks and they give you mixed messages.
Good balance of rides and haunted houses. They handled the large crowd well. Lots of police as security, definitely made me feel safer
A fun place to bring family and friends if you live or are traveling in the area. Many different rides and restaurants, and there's a water park to
Decent fun. Decently pricey, too. Don't lose your car in the lot
It's GREAT fun, and there's almost sure to be something to delight everyone. A wonderful place for fun, good food, good drinks and things to get you smiling and laughing. Love it!
Awesomeness Place To Enjoy The Rides & Family Fun !
Valley Fair is always a good time. I do believe that some rides should be reevaluate. It was my daughter's 7th birthday. She is like 47 1/2 inches and they will not allow her on the 48 inch tall children rides. No problem rules are rules, but they have a new attraction that is slightly shorter than the power tower, it's a tall swing ride. It allows anyone 44 inches or taller, strange because the small children swing set is 48inches to ride. Heads up if your child is under 48 inches, this Park is not for you if you are coming for the rides.
Fun rides. Good option if you're looking for a day long activity
The place is different than the last time I was there and I like it. I went when it was valley scare and got a fast past and I would highly recommend you try this if your in Minnesota
Valleyfair is always a fantastic place to visit. I prefer to visit midweek as the weekend seems to get a bit busy at times. Their group sales team is easy to work with and extremely accommodating. I love that they have added meal and beverage plans, which makes budgeting for trips to the park easier. They have a fast pass program as well, which can save time for those people who do not want to wait in long lines. The variety of food vendors is great, and quality of food is high. The park is always clean and has a safe feel to it.
It's good place for family but plan whole day when you go there
Our kids loved Valley Fair! I highly recommend the daily food pass for $35.99 and the drink cup for $11.99. Very clean and lots of fun!
An amazing way to spend a summer day. Don't expect a Disney-style park, but this place has great rides and roller coasters, and better than expected food. The service was okay, but half the employees seemed to be in slow motion. Maybe it was the heat.
There's a Peanuts gang theme, but it's basically all about the rides. Can't comment on the watermark, as we didn't go. Only one complaint... they charge you 17 bucks to patk in their lot and spend money at their business.
Great amusement park, awesome rides, a full day of fun for sure
Will never go back. Super busy and they do a horrible job on accommodating for it. Over an hour wait for roller coasters and the only have one going. It takes 45 min to get a beer because they only have one person working the bar. Really any ride you want to go on is only functioning at 50% . We were ther for 6 hours and went on 4 rides. You pretty much go there to stand in line. Waist of money
Love this place. I go a few times a year, always have an awesome time
I've been having fun here since I was a kid. Spendy, but the fun is worth the price.
