First time with kids 8, 7, and 6. 6 year olds weren't tall enough for a lot of rides or needed an adult supervision on the ride, 46 inches is the cut off. They were bummed about waterslides being completely off limits for under 46. They did enjoy wave pool and lazy river. 7 and 8 year olds had a blast.

This is a fun and relatively inexpensive place for a nice summer day! If you're going to attend more than once a year I recommend the gold pass. The water park is a tad underwhelming but still enjoyable.

Took students here as a reward for fundraising and when we arrived we waited over 30 minutes for thunder canyon to open. After waiting that long in the miserable heat we cooled of further by going on the wave. From there we decided to head to the water park where 1/3 of the slides were closed INCLUDING THE LAZY RIVER. So we left the water park to go on rides just to have it all shut down for the remainder of the day due to weather. Our poor students raised money to come for TWO damn rides and have to leave after they refused to give us vouchers to return another day...I cannot get over how crooked a "family" place is. What a rip off.

A fun variety of rides! My favorite is definitely Renegade, a wooden roller coaster that'll be sure to rock your world. If you plan on going more than twice in a season, I highly recommend getting a season pass, which includes free parking. Unless you're planning on going at peak times on busy days, there isn't much sense in splurging on a fast-pass (if I remember correctly, they're around $45 per person). Eat beforehand or plan on having a picnic at your car; food and beverages are expensive (example: $4 for a bottle of water). This is a great place to unwind and get your roller coaster fix.

Disney prices, but it ain't no Disney. $12 for a burger. $12 for an ice cream cookie sandwich. "Fast Lane" line jumpers creates a two tier system that makes normal guests feel like second-class citizens. Every square inch has been paved to cram in more crap. There used to be a few patches of grass and a few trees, but not anymore. I'd go back, but not on my own dime.

Rides are fun, and if our come on a day thy starts out ugly, almost no waiting. Food is expensive, but good overall. Admission is worth it, but only if you use the lower online prices. On hot, sunny days, lines are extremely long, and can be frustrating.

I really enjoyed my visit to Valley Fair. However I have to be honest when it comes to paying for admission I wish that there was an option to pay for just one day for cheaper instead of paying and then them telling you that you get admission one more time so it's like you get two visits included in the purchase of the day pass but I would rather see an option that's more affordable for people like me who lives so far away and really only want to come the one time so for me paying as much as I did I understand you know should I choose to I could go back this year for a second visit since I did take my photo but again I live far away so I would have rather of paid less than what I did then have the second visit that's my only complaint. Rest of it was great all the staff was wonderful everybody was very helpful and Delirious your new attraction was absolutely phenomenal!

My boyfriend, his little brother and I went to Valley Fair for a fun filled day. The rides were great and fun, but the staff were not so great. Every staff member we encountered that day were extremely rude. We went there to have a good day, but that was hard to do when we had to deal with staff members who had attitudes, rude comments and were not helpful. I used to love this place as a kid, but not anymore.

Love Valleyfair. Bring your own food and picnic in the lot. Their food is super expensive, as most amusement parks are. They have a plethora of rollercoasters, a waterpark, and a great "kids park." There are lots of places to get snacks and drinks. A few restaurants. A few shops. They have caricature artists and face painting stands.
You have to ride Renegade before you leave! Wild Thing gets all the hype, but Renegade is where it's at. The zipline is also crazy fun, but isn't included with your ticket. You do have to pay more for that. Make sure you wear a swimsuit or clothes that dry quickly so you can enjoy some of the water rides even if you don't plan on doing the water park.

It's an awesome outdoor amusement park. Definetly the best in Minnesota, great places to eat, great rides, and waterpark. They have rides from crazy classic coasters like the wild thing to steel venom which is amazingly not like other roller coasters. It's alittle spendy, but well worth it if you going for a day.

Valley fair is a blast!!!!! Food and drink have come down dramatically in price, I suggest purchasing one or more lol (my wife and I shared one) but one cup and free refills all day. The lines for rides move quickly. The staff were VERY energetic and made the experience even better WONDERFUL amusement park!

A great theme park for Minnesota! Lots of ride options from my personal favorite, Renegade, to the standard Scrambler or Ferris Wheel. While I haven't used, there is a large kids area too for the little tykes. On a busy day, the lines can be long, but every theme park will have that. The food options in the park are diverse as well, albeit expensive. Definitely want to hit up Steel Venom at the start of the day to get the adrenaline pumpin'!

Expect to be priced gouged. I would give it a 5 star, but I think it s ridiculous they charge you $20 to park. If your a big family I would pack a lunch and eat in parking lot. They charge you $5 for one bottle of water. Sometimes I wonder how places can do that. It was fun yes, but I guess once you get older your more prone to getting hurt on rides. I was on the Excalibur and it was my second time and I hurt my neck. Overall fun!

I ve been waiting in my car for 2 hours only half a mile away from Valleyfair. This place is ridiculous for getting in the park. You need to leave at 5pm to get in there at 8. I m paying 42$ to be in there for 2 1/2 hours when I should of been in by 7:30 and it s 9:30. Terrible for waiting time

Great place to take kids during summer and through fall! With the dining plan, you can't beat it living close. No more packed coolers and breaks to the car for lunch. It pays for itself in no time.

Valleyfair shuts rides down HOURS early daily. Excalibur and thunder canyon, 2 of my favorites for sure, closing 2 hours before park closes. Valleyfair doesnt advertise these early ride closings so be careful before you spend hundreds of dollars to go!!! I feel like I got stolen from. Contacted them with my frustration and they did not refund partial OR even apologize !!!!

A fun place to visit if you live in and around the area! We have enjoyed our gold passes this year. The rides are exciting, the water park is a blast and the food is overpriced but fun theme park fare. There are some gluten free options but most are not Celiac friendly. Usually pretty busy on the weekends but during the week most ride wait times are less than 10 minutes.

Will never go back again. Was there maybe a hour or so and couldn't enjoy myself, when I did try by riding a roller coaster I ended up passing out and getting hurt. Not only when I called to ask if I could get a refund did I feel insulted by the staff but never got a call back from anyone who was "supposed to be calling" me. All but gave up on getting anything back but I would save your money for something better where they have more than 10 non water rides open.

Valley Fair just doesn't dissapoint! We take our kids there every year and they love it. I love how the one set of bathrooms (near the food on a stick) always has the latest and greatest sinks and drying equipment and are air conditioned! We have been going to Valley Fair for 15 years and every year has been great! There are so many rides to choose from and the park feels safe and clean.

I fainted at valleyscare on the rollercoaster (high blood pressure from being freaked out from the mazes and then being in pitch black going very fast) and it freaked out my friend next to me, it was funny. The actors all know who the one is that is scared of everything. It was me. Have fun

It's a great place to go with as many or as few friends as you want. Definitely more on the side of thrill seeking rides and a little less nice to those who are lacking in adventurousness. Has a great water park with wave pool and a bunch of person, and tube slides. Would recommend

Fun, but really need to add more drinking fountains. While I understand the business move here to sell soda and bottled water, it would make many of us 200% more likely to return if we didn't end each day sick and dehydrated. Could an extra 10 water fountains really hurt? I saw 3 my entire day at the park.

Other than the water situation, the park is great, safe, friendly, and above all, fun!
