I went during Valley Scare for the first time ever with my daughter. We had a blast!!! I was impressed with all the cool decorations they did around the place with some pumpkins and skeletons.

We took our 6.5 year old for the first time and it was amazing, clean and food was great. She was just 48" tall and we got a wrist band at guest services so that she wouldn't need to be measured at each ride. However, her height was still often double checked before boarding any rides. Some may find that annoying, but it was reassuring how well the ride attendants were trained to put safety first. We had a blast and will definitely be back!

My son & I had an amazing time on the Fourth of July! We arrived early. We did buy the food all you can eat all day & the drinks. Next time we will split the food one since you can eat every three hours & it was too costly to buy for two. Not all the stands accept the food pass but they did have plenty that did. The drinks were cheap enough for us to buy two passes & they have a handle you can carry them with you. The lockers were a bit spendy @$15 all day. If you don't bring valuables inside, you are allowed to set them to the left by the rides where no one will touch them. The fire works were amazing again!!! the whole reason why we came. =)
It did rain & some of the rides shut down but it was only temporary.

Only complain is how much the vending machines cost. Water is like $3 a bottle, but you should expect that. Nice employees. Huge potential for fun. They have a little bit of everything for everyone.

The park is great, I enjoyed the addition of new rides. Ive been on almost every ride and exhibit here. However Highroller def needs replacing (its about ready to die. Like i ride all the extreme ones and i love them. However this one as well as excaliber felt dangerous and in need of retiring. High roller looks depleated, paint mostly gone, and boards weather worn and in some places rotted.) excaliber is horrible and causes severe pain to everyones neck in my group from the break neck (litterally, im not surprised if i got whip lash) turns. The Dino Alive exhibit was awesome but 1/4 of the sensors wouldnt work no matter how many times i moved infront of them. Including the adult trex which was a huge dissapointment as I had been dying to see animatronic dinos sincr i was a kid. Other then that its been fun!!! Pricey as all get out, but fun and worth the trip!

It's always fun here no matter your age or thrill tolerance. I recommend the gold pass if you live even near the twin cities because you can come and go as you please, and you get at least a decent discount on all food and drink around the park.

Pretty disappointed in their accessibility for the handicap. My Uncle has downs and loves all the rides but has a hard time standing for long periods. Their accommodations are to put your name on a waiting list and to come back in a time period frame. So he missed out on many rides.
Walt Disney, Disneyland and Sandusky park are by far more sensitive to those with needs

Perfect for 2+ year olds. Planet Snoopy is amazing. If you plan on visiting more than once, I suggest a season pass with the food abd drink plan. It pays for itself by the second time here. Outstanding experience.

While the rides and the park are pretty good, the cost of the place is stupid.

The discounts available at SA, CUB, Taco Bell, etc (for buying tickets online) are just as good, or maybe $1 less than, the normal discount for buying online. What's the point? You'll burn more than that in gas going to get your discount coupons.

There is a 'service fee' for buying your ticket online - for me it was $7.99 for two tickets. What's the f-ing point of having a discount for buying online when your discount is eaten up by the 'service fee' for buying online?

The all-day meal plan ($30) is only a value if you eat 3 meals, which means you have to be at the park for a minimum of 4.5 hours (90min between each meal) and it doesn't cover any snacks, icecream, etc. At 2 meals, it's a wash, and not worth buying.

Parking is $14 to walk through a 100-degree nightmare of cars $20 if you want to walk though the scorching heat a little less. But really, charging for parking is stupid. It's like the grocery store or walmart charging for parking, they don't do it because they want customers. Charging for parking is just greedily taking advantage of people.

This is a wonderful Minnesota amusement park. The roller coasters are great fun and the variety of things you can do is wonderful. The special events they can also be great fun. This park does appeal more for families and young children than it does for young adults and older, for those who are wondering. The water mixed with the drinks doesn't seem to be great and some of the food establishments can be rather lack luster. The music can be good, like when they play good house music or heavy EDM (dubstep) but most of the speakers seems to be totally blown and destroyed from either poor quality and/or weather. All-in-all I love comming here every once in while for a bit of summer fun with my friends.

The rides are great, had a great time! But sime if the ride operators who closed and opened the gate looked and spoke in a annoyance tone. Which I have never noticed there before. But all in all, would go back anyday.

Valleyfair has a terrible policy about musicians and ride passes. If you are a band that has been invited to play you have to have a ride pass. This is not only a terrible decision but undermines the purpose of inviting a band to play. It s to perform music not make money. Very disappointed with Valleyfair in this respect.

Very fun, I go there almost every summer with my friends and family. Almost every single ride is awesome. If I were you I wouldn't buy the food there because it's way overpriced and not that good. It costed me $20 to get a burger with fries and a soft drink! Unbelievable lol! If u wanna eat and r hungry I highly recommend that u should leave the park and find somewhere else to eat that's better and not as expensive as valley fair. They just stamp you and you can come right back in whenever if you didn't already know that (which is pretty nice for a dinner or lunch break). Anyways, I love Valley Fair and I highly recommend you visit it if you are in Minnesota or ever visit the state. The rides are so much fun and there is a lot of them, trust me you won't be disappointed. Make sure you go there on a weekday and not during the weekend because it will be way too crowded and not too fun because you'll have to wait awhile to get on rides there. Great place! Thx for the awesome experience and fun rides! Also Soak City is really fun so if it is a hot day it's really fun to visit that portion of the park as Well! They have tons of different waterslides and water rides and a wave pool.

Had to go and pay more because Valley Fair tried to redefine the word weekend. Just change your ticket price to say Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Don't try to deceive people by saying WEEKEND means something different at VF.

Valleyfair is totally worth it when you get season passes! Just two visits and you've paid for your pass. We go all summer long and spend time doing rides and/or water park. There are also fun different events throughout the season to attend as well. We get the All Season Dining added on to our passes since we are there a lot and that ends up saving a lot of money on food over the season. Their Halloween season is so much fun as well!

We usually try to visit every summer and have had good experiences. This summer we bought our tickets and parking all online and appreciated the discount. It was super easy to get in for parking and the park with tickets on the phone. The locker fee is quite high (we did the ones in the water park since we knew we would be doing that as well). There is quite a variety of rides and things to do for all ages.

A fun family tradition with my parents now my kids!
We all get gold passes every year, (They even offer monthly payments!)
Gold pass give us 10% off food purchases, free parking, and discount passes for next years fun season! (Food plan are also available)
Plenty of rides, activities and food choices for everyone.
Multiple restrooms throughout park all wheelchair accessible.
The huge waterpark is great fun for all, long slides, lazy river, wave pool, chill in private cabana, or just relax and enjoy the sunshine.
They even serve alcoholic beverages.

Took a really long time to load many of the rides and many were not loaded to capacity so it seemed like the line waits were longer than they needed to be. But the kids rides seemed to go faster and it was overall a really fun experience.
