There is not one ounce of nutrition in this place! Very hard to spend a big day there if you dont bring a cooler of healthy food and leave it in your car. There is really fun fair food, but leaves one feeling a sugar, no nutrition crash extremely early. We went for homeschool days, but there were tons of regular school buses that brought other school kids- seemed like a bit of false advertising. Rides were fun when kids weren't 'Chinese budging'. Water park was great but at least 4 of the water attractions weren't open- how frustrating !!!!!

There were so many things that costs like $3+ extra, I would have gladly paid a higher, ALL inclusive price.

Also, there was water for sale but i would paid big money for an authentic water with real lemon slices- I'll have to add that to my 'bring with' next time list.

What a fun place for the whole family! They have rides for nearly all ages! So glad they moved Camp Snoopy to Valleyfair! Love the water park areas! We could spend all day in just those areas!

Weekday visit is a must because lines are manageable. Soak city is great for kids of all ages, and end with rides on some great coasters. We'll work the trip! Been going for 30 years and it's still a great day out!

Well, its been 20 years since I have been to Valley Fair and I was dissatisfied with the parking fee, and the fact that after traveling for 2 hours we were informed that on this Friday you were closing at 5 for a private party. Since this was my daughter birthday party it really put a damper on things. We should not have been charged full price for day when we could not even stay for 5 hours.

Love it fun rides only giving 4 because prices for a drink are absolutely insane.

Great food, great rides, great family fun! Spent time in the water park and in the amusement park, enjoyed both immensely! Would happily go back either by myself or with family or friends!

A great place to bring kids of all ages! My 3 & 5 year old love the kiddy rides & going to the water park! I'd suggest getting a gold season pass it pays for itself if you go twice bc it includes parking. Plan ahead & get a prek pass for kids 3-5 for free!

It is one of the most fun places I have ever been. I get a gold pass every year for a reason!

It's expensive and the waits can make you impatient but it's so worth it when you're having a great time with family and/or friends.

Soak city is pretty cool. New rides could have been better. Good to spend a day at.

It absolutely sucks, it takes 30 minutes to go on a ride and everything is triple the price.

Now let me start off with the bad so people will read this. My trip to Walmart was more fun. I had a terrible time as the rides simply aren't for larger people such as myself. So a far warning to anyone if you are a bigger person, very tall, large shoulders, or overweight, this park isn't for you. Also the prices are just over priced as the refreshment station. I could understand $2.50 water that's usually $0.99, but $5.29 is too much. Most of the food staff was slow and the food costs so much so you think you'd get good service but you usually don't. The ride staff are hit or miss. They're either awesome people who are happy to help, or you're annoying them by wanting to be on the ride.

So here's the good though, the park is very clean, one of the cleanest I've been to. The wait times were mostly pretty good for how many people were there. It's got a good variety of things to do and truly is an experience I'd recommend to anyone who isn't too big, too tall, or too wide.
If you're any of those things, you'll probably have a better experience doing most anything else as it's not fun to wait for your friends to go on rides all day.
I gave it 3 stars as I personally remember having fun there when I was little. I probably won't be returning any time soon until I have kids of my own as my shoulders won't get smaller so I simply won't be able to get on most rides. I didn't have fun but chances are you probably will. Give it a shot.

We took my daughter for her birthday on a Tuesday. It was very expensive to get in, even with a military discount and the prices online are cheaper than at the gate, but it doesn't say that on their website for the military discount. The food is outrageously priced. $27 for three small Icees anyone? The rides were fun and the lines were short the day we went. I would go again if it were less expensive to get in.

What a nightmare. I supervised a group of kids. We were made to wait for over an hour in the line for the line, which was an unmanaged mass of aggressive high schoolers. The vast majority of the day was spent waiting in lines. Avoid this place like the plague!

A great place to spend the day. Be prepared to spend a fairly large amount on food, though.

The best place to get an adrenaline rush! I love steel venom and the wild thing. valley fair is a great place for kids and teens. I love coming back every year

I lost my credit card there they called me that they got it so i went there to pick it up they told me they dont know where it went that wasn't nice at all. They should keep lost and found stuff good. Otherwise i had fun there with my kids is a cool place to go

Had a great day here. Purchased the fast pass with food. The food pass doesn t cover all everything on the menu at all the restaurants. We had to pay cash for a shake when it was hot out :/ love the wild thing. Great trip for families or couples. I recommend you buy the fast pass online it s much cheaper.

Not the biggest amusement park but the rides that are here are fun!

Fun place to spend the day with friends or family! Eat beforehand though because prices for food are extremely high

Food is expensive, admission is to. If your not paying for fast pass you can wait in line forever. But it is worth it to spend a day there!

Great place to visit. Have gotten a gold pass (season pass) for the past three years there. Wish they had more steel coasters since they only have two (steel venom doesn t count). But otherwise great place to hangout for a few days out of the summer. Would definitely recommend for anyone out of town or even in town.

They need a new roller coaster....to have your best rollercoaster be over 20 years old show a lack of interest of making the park better ...every thing me I go they are closing restaurants and games because of lack of people. Just sad to see them not care.

We love valley Fair! We go on a Weds or Thursday and virtually no waiting!

Need more thrill rides but overall it is a 4.5 for the only 2 amusement parks in MN

My favorite fun place to go in Minnesota, they never fail to make me happy.

Great place to go to have fun. Kids are welcome there. Kids gotta be a certain height to go. Lots of variety of rides an water rides. It's got a swimming pool an a lazy river to go down. We have a blast when we go. Sometimes they have entertainment an its good.

In the last few years it has revitalized most of the park. With great kids rides and awesome waterpark, there is something for everyone.
Just beware of the older rollercoasters. They are not as smooth as they once were.

This is a awesome amusement park! I love the Wild Thing and the Extreme Swing the best! I am totally coming back again this summer! This is my favorite place to go during the summer! It's better than the MOA, MN State Fair, and the all of the Zoo's! I love Valley Fair!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

Fun if you like rollercoasters, games and expensive toys and trinkets. Very fun for all ages but maybe not babies..there are rides for them too though. Lots to do! Open good hours to get it all in!

Haven't visited VF in along time... Really liked the the rollercoasters and loved their water park.

Valley Fair was so much fun! They have a lot of rides for adults and older kids and they have even more for little kids! Great place to take your family for a fun and simple activity! The Wild Thing (their largest coaster) would have to be my favorite! I also enjoyed High Roller, Power Tower, and Renegade. I chickened out on Steel Venom but I am sure it is a lot of fun. I went on riptide and it was okay but not really that great. Warning: Xtreme Swing is by far THE scariest and nerves wracking ride at valley fair. (thats my opinion) They also have lots of places to get food which is good because we were there all day. Overall valley fair is a great experience and I highly recommend you visit sometime. (Note: when we went there (early sept.) It was not busy at all. There was absolutely no wait on any ride. Instead of getting their "fast pass" for 35 dollars extra, come when the Minnesota state fair is happening!

Great place! Came here for a work trip and even with adults, the rides and atmosphere are still great.

Had a lot of fun, just wish the weather would have cooperated.

Love the new ride, I hope they get all the bugs out of the different machines that were broke down.

It seems to me that the spirit of Valleyfair has died in recent years. Everything is just extremely expensive; and, many of the employees are either just doing the bare minimum, or in some cases, are simply rude to customers. I've been going to ValleyFair since 1975 and remember when the employees seemed happy and made the place fun. Seems like now, its just about the almighty dollar.

Valleyfair is fantastic! Its got plenty to keep your busy for the day and coming back again. It's always clean, and they have rides for everyone. Planet Snoopy is especially good for young children, or those that just want to remenice about "Camp Snoopy" (previously in the Mall of America) .

Food is expensive (... what theme parks isn't), but admission is relatively affordable! If you go on a week night the lines aren't bad at all (average of 15-20 minutes).

Would highly recommend for a day trip, and is one of my favorites in the area (much better than a lot of stuff in the Wisconsin Dells area).

Muy Grando fun! All the rides are huge thrillers, just amazing! The food is so good, but kinda expensive. Prizes are HUGE for the games, so make room if you're planning on it.. it's also very big!

Kids had a blast, food is spendy but well worth it! Long lines for water rides next time I would pay for express passes

I have gone with my kids every October for the past 5 years during the daytime "ValleyScare" weekends. Sure, the water rides are shut down, but if your goal is to ride the rides and NOT wait in line, this is the time to go. It's also not "drink a gallon of water an hour or you'll be carried away with heat stroke" hot out anymore. In 5 years, we have waited for no more than 1 cycle of a ride to get on anything in the park. It's not waiting in line for an hour to be on a roller coaster for 2 minutes. Last time we went, we rode all the roller coasters front, back, and center in a row with no more than one car's worth of wait time.

Are the concession prices crazy? Sure they are. What amusement park doesn't have stupidly overpriced drinks and food.

Getting outrageous on prices, couldn't get my souvenir cups that I paid for due to nobody carrying it in stock and got the run around on where to even find them

Really packed last night for MEA week. Got on no rides, lines were too long

It was fun but thunder canyon was not open and neither were a lot of the stands and such. I was very disappointed the flume is no longed On a good note there were no lines for anything that was a huge plus. We were with a fifth grade field trip and all in all it went well and kids had fun.

Valleyfair has gotten ridiculously spendy. I mean ridiculously expensive spendy! Wow! $55 per adult to get in plus $17 to park geez! I used to love going to Valleyfair in the nineties every summer back in the day when it was cheaper. It was better in the mid late nineties. The food now at Valleyfair is expensive geez! Paid $18.88 for a burger fries and soft drink at Coasters diner and the food wasn't anything to brag about. Plus it was kinda unclean and sloppy at Coasters diner.! People in line for the rides falsely accuse me of cutting in front of them when I know that isnt right to do. Lines for the rides get .unorganized sometimes. Valleyfair is kind of far from where I live which is in the St. Cloud area where I live now. For all the ridiculously high prices and far away drive it just not worth it anymore. Plus Valleyfair isn't independently managed its all now corporate owned just isnt the same anymore.

It's no Disney. Fun for teenagers, but many outdated rides, long lines and price hikes (almost double what you pay at Disney for food and drinks)

I took my siblings with me to go have some fun for the summer. They love it and wanted to come back again.

We came to valleyfair yesterday (June 26th) with our 1 and 2 year olds! The best part by far was the 530 show in snoopy world with the peanuts gang! Whoever was in the costumes were absolutely amazing and spent so much time with my girls and we took a ton of pictures to remember! It made their day! Thank you so much!!

Lots of fun rides. The lines were really long and not much shade.

I love Valleyfair! Food is pricey there but as expected

My family and I love it. There is alot to do with the family.

Prices are steep, shut down nearly the whole park due to a forecast of lightning and not actual lightning, for almost 3 hours while waiting for it to pass over, yet couldn't compensate for the lack of attractions down at that time

So much fun! We went on a Wednesday in June and it wasn't very busy at all. There really wasn't a wait for anything that day. Such a great amusement park.

Kind of expensive but SO excited for ValleyScare at 7p.

Awesome park but I have one complaint. After you go on the Water Chute (idk what its called) there is an option to dry yourself off FOR THE *BARGAIN* PRICE OF 5 DOLLARS!!! Which is just a cube that you stand in for a few minutes that does not dry you off whatsoever. We were just as wet as when we came in. You get absolutely drenched on the water ride so it is just a waste of time and money.

Was a fun time however their pricing is getting slightly out of hand at 17$ for parking and 60$ a person to get in. Luck we had discount passes I guess.

We had the best time at Valleyfair yesterday. Probably my first time there in 20 years. All eight kids loved it! Also loved the All Day Meal Pass and All Day Drink pass. So worth it to buy those and the tickets, ahead of time. First time at the water park too. We'll be back soon, hopefully for Valleyscare!
