Huge resort with plenty of runs. Can be quite busy on a Saturday. Long lift lines. Getting in and out to the hill can be a challenge as well. Other than those gripes you will have some awesome rides down.

Sprawling with varied terrain. Several hike-to areas exist which seem to hold fresh snow for days after a storm. Lots of interesting expert terrain. Cool town with good food. Lack of baselodge can be an annoyance for day skiers. Sprawling layout requires that you have a loose plan for the day lest you spend undue time traversing about the mountain.

Dropped everyone and the gear off at North lot, and found Free parking ( until 15 Nov) at a city lot in town. All of us took Breck Connect to Peak 8 base. Lines were long as expected for opening weekend. Open trails were in good condition and glad we made the trip. Recommend bring your own food and drinks, unless you like paying 6$ for fountain drinks

All abilities of skiers and snowboarders will find something from them! So many different runs. We only spent a day here and it was not enough time to full explore the runs! Highly recommended!!!

Can't stress this enough, Breck is one of the most amazing spots to check out. Go for the snow and stay for the community. You'll return just to hang out for the day in town. Cool shops and great food.

This place should be 5 just because the instructors here are so awesome. But unfortunately during the sign up process the staff were a little rude to people who I guess are tourists? They lost all of my info that I even paid and I spent 30 minutes trying to show them that and was late to my lesson, they appologized though but I was pretty mad. Just wish they didnt seem so judgy/know everything since they live and work there.

Go during week of you can. No lines at all
Park at the free red route lot and shuttle over to gondola to avoid traffic and crowds. Friendly helpful bus drivers there
Lots to do in town besides ski too

Love Breckenridge slopes! The main lifts are split into three areas: Peak 9, Peak 8 and Peak 7. We prefer the blues on Peak 7, but enjoyed the whole range. Weekends are pretty packed, so we skied Monday-Wednesday in January with almost no wait in lift lines. Loved every minute of it!

Family friendly resort with plenty of patrollers to keep an eye on the clientele using the mountain. Safety is VERY important and they take it seriously.

Lost and Found on Peak 8 has a helpful system that enabled me to obtain my lost glove! Thank you team!

Coach Wilson is the most amazing ski instructor on these mountains! Everyone should book a lesson with her! You will get the best long lasting experience from her. The workers in the facilities are friendly and international!

Greats sends to be had. Peak 6 has good views and is open. Peak 8/10 double blacks are great. Super friendly staff and expensive prices on the mountain as usual. My favorite run was The Windows

Great place to visit in the summer, first time for me. Taking a Ride down the mountain on the sleds wasn't a great value but worth it if you haven't tried these before. I would have probably rated it higher if much of it wasn't closed due to COVID.

Don t waste your time or money here or any Vail resort. Spent 850$ on an epic pass and was playing in the trees ended up on a closed run. Ski patrol suspended my epic pass the whole time I m here. Never had a warning or anything.

Thanks for ruining our family vacation

The Canopy Tour is amazing! This was my first experience with zip lining and the staff went above and beyond to ensure my sense of safety and to calm my nerves. Shelby Culbreth and Johnny Haslam deserve a gold medal for dealing with my anxieties in a calm and comforting way. Superb experience and would highly recommend this to anyone who has always wanted to but just hasn t taken the leap.

Nice town. The hotel wasn't fancy, really... probably not worth the effort with skiers trashing rooms and snow getting dragged in on the winter. Everything else was typical of a hotel jus more expensive.

Hard to beat this place as far as ski towns go.

Hard to beat this place as far as ski towns go.

This year they are off to a slow start with the lack of snow. However, here's my full review:

The culture in this town and on this mountain are unparalleled. It's hard to find an unfriendly or uptight person.

We went both opening weekend and this past weekend (December 2-4). Opening weekend was obviously fun because we were all counting down the days until snow. They also had a DJ and served French toast to all who attended. The downside was that there was only one run open. Not good for beginners or people looking for advanced terrain.

This past weekend was fantastic, however. Once they open peak 7 and peak 9 it gets really pretty great. We spent the whole day on peak 9 and took the Quicksilver Chair up. The run is perfect for beginners and has some fun jibs for advanced people too. If you take the superchair all the way up, there are runs for everyone. Best riding ever! We also enjoyed the Maggie Bar at the bottom of the run.

The town itself had some pretty cool stuff going on this weekend. There was a dog parade with about 100 St Bernard's, a Santa race and the Christmas Tree lighting. This was the best trip possible to get you in the holiday spirit.

Definitely check out Empire Burger on Main Street and the Liquid Lounge of you're up for some dancing.

The terrain is excellent. It's very crowded and ski patrol is non-existent. The lifties at the bottom are so stoned and could care less about their job or responsibilities. It used to be a great place but Vail Resorts is all about that cash. I'll keep smiling and enjoying the ride as much as I can. This is my least favorite resort.

First time on the mountain great conditions parking was easy lift lines moved very quickly and there was a restaurant at pretty much every peak with lots of different options great mountain for the family the blues were not too difficult and there were speed restrictions in place

Huge mountain with terrain for everyone - from a family to an absolute beast. Super fun but super corporate mountain (expensive tickets, paid parking in areas, etc.) ,which is why I gave it 4 stars.
