Terrible. You walk in and think that from the look of the place, you are going to have a nice time. Unfortunately, the place is run like a zoo. There's a reason why it's practically empty a lot of the time! I can't stand a business that fails to invest in their customers but instead focuses their energy on the financial gain. My group and I had an event there which brought dozens of new customers into the place, and the rude attitude and lack of organization left a bad taste in my mouth. They threatened to cancel our event (on THE DAY OF after weeks of preparation) because THEY double-booked us! Bad move URBO. Time for you to UR-GO. UR-BOO...you won't be seeing any of our people (family, friends, acquaintances, etc) there anymore.

Amazing corner restaurant with really classy decorations and a jazz night some weekdays, the drinks are very nice like the Hurricane cocktail, they also have mock-tails and very friendly service.

I figured eating in Times Square was going to be pretty rough. I assumed everything would be overpriced and mediocre, but Urbo was surprisingly good and didn't completely empty my pocket. I liked the atmosphere and the open kitchen idea. The beer selection was pretty poor for the type of food offered, but the pulled pork was up to par. The portion size was decent, too. If this place was near me and not in one of the most obnoxious areas in America, I'd go back.

Dear Urbo,

Dear Urbo,

I just ordered a soda water with lime. The bar tender put a slice of lemon in the bottom of the glass, put ice on top, and filled it up with soda.

This bothered me for two reasons:
1) I asked for lime, not lemon.
2) How am I going to squeeze the citrus into my drink if it's at the bottom if the glass?

I asked for another lime, and was granted another lemon.

And then I was charged $4.

A nice selection of draft beers and drinks, in a very hip atmosphere. This is an incredibly large space, so there's lots going on, but it all has a very nice feel.

The only real drawback (from a local's perspective) is the Times Square location. This bar would be MUCH more fun if it were in a different neighborhood, but if you're a tourist looking for a fun place to hang out in Times Square, this is a good choice.

Delicious Food!

Delicious Food!
We were a group of 13 people, kids and adults, everything we ate was delicious, we loved the food and the environment was creative urban. A very comfortable place to eat, drink, sit and talk.

Just got word that this place is turning into an event only space, besides the coffee and shop aspect of it, which makes me really sad. The happy hour upstairs was amazing ,as was the lunch menu and I was looking forward to returning for dinner. The space is beautifully sculpted and decorated. The menu is seasonal, and changes based on the availability of ingredients. I hope the owners change their mind and decide to keep the menu for the masses.

The place was empty, but at least you won't be waiting for a table. The food was decent, though overpriced given how generic it was. Service was a mess, but at least they made it right on the bill without prompting. Overall, unnoteworthy.

Slow service, dirty cups, waiter refused request to cook steak to order (medium-well), inattentive to requests for condiments...with so many incredible options in NYC, skip this place and go somewhere scrumptious.

I ate here and the magnificent ambiance was matched by the enthusiasm of the whole staff. I will continue to dine here in the future and can only hope others have the same experience I had.

P.S the sushi is sooooo damn good

There was a warm greeting by the host as you walk in and the firepit in the middle of the ground floor added a sophisticated decor. The lamb was well seasoned, the mac and cheese was scrumptious and the cheesecake was delicious.

Bad time to experiment with a new place to try out for Valentine's. It took 20 minutes from giving our order to receiving it and both dishes were lukewarm. Unseasoned omelet led to an even longer wait for condiments. But nothing says love like a long line for a single bathroom when a row were available on the floor above.

I was a little hesitant to eat dinner right on Times Square as I was afraid it would be tourist trap, but I was very pleasantly surprised! The beer list was a little lacking, but I was still able to find a local choice. We started with the mac 'n cheese appetizer that we added truffle to and it was the real deal. It wasn't just truffle oil, there were actual mushrooms in there! Not quite sure how this would qualify as an appetizer as it's just a big 'ol bowl of mac 'n cheese with multiple spoons. I had the Urbo burger and the garlic aioli was phenomenal. I would definitely revisit!

got coffee at the coffee shop portion, it was awful might as well've been maxwell house coffee, son got a hot chocolate that was cold, they made a fresh one and was very weak on the chocolate. I won't get coffee here again.

Great burger, fries, service, clean area, decent coffee to-go, and all in the heart of Times Square's vicinity. My sisters found this place, and although the menu was varied, the burger was healthy and reasonably sized. I think my sister enjoyed the Panini but the ambiance was definitely perfect. Quick, tasty, clean!

Great atmosphere, friendly and accommodating staff. The food is presented nicely. The chicken I ordered was a little dry and tasteless - although the basaltic vinaigrette dressing on top was excellent.

It's far overpriced for the quality of the food.
