Completely unprofessional service, absolutely appalling they constantly lie about duration of contracts, they cancel contracts 5 minutes before you're due to start work and on top of that they like to threaten people over the phone! They even threaten to withhold payments for hours you've already worked!

they keep putting labouring jobs up on gumtree which infact are not new jobs and they are just putting it on gumtree all day long just naming random towns but infact there are no jobs . they told me not to come back again because they want a Romanian force they are racist also when I called up for one of the fake traffic marshals jobs they put up he picked up first saying they is a traffic marshal job and in the background I could hear them laughing I called them up yesterday just to make sur everything is ok but it was not ok and they told me the company didn't give my hours yet and to cal back today lets see what happens when I call back today I feel like its not England anymore and its turned into Romania

Would give it 0 if I could. Terrible experience! Worse recruitment agency i have had contact with. Would not reccomend! Had someone called Ryan give a job for the wrong time then was shouting down the phone at me for his mistake. Didn't apologise for his mistake. They wouldn't be happy if i started turning up 40 minutes late. Was rude and very unprofessional. No the site manager put the phone down on me which let me to talk with Ryan. If it's 8 start then it's 8 not 730. What if I was coming in at 830? U wouldn't have it. Neither do i. Furthermore i was told to meet the manager at 730! Either your company is lying now or you lied prior to me wasting my time and money going to site? Call for what? I will never ever use your agency and would advise anyone that will listen not to.

Spoke to them on Thursday with regards to a job 10 minutes from where I live(Hod Carrier position). Told them I could start Monday which was fine according to the woman I spoke to. She asked me to WhatsApp my details including ID documents which I did. She said she would send me the address and confirmation of who I would be working for after I done this. I do know where the job is so Monday morning I'll be paying the job a visit. I did WhatsApp her asking if it was still ok for Monday but had no reply back.

They sent me in park royal as a plant operator and found out they lied to me about wages, I RECOMMEND everyone to avoid this agency.
Working with Madigan for few years now, they always have work for you depending on what is your trade or even if your job is coming to an end they will have a new one secure for you, i had few difficulties regarding payments when it came to Payroll contractors they are a little bit unprofessional, however they have always solved any issues that came, i feel like they could value more the people that have experience the income is a little bit low from what the market offers however as i said they have plenty of jobs, few years back i came across some people from office that they were a little bit uninterested in their employees but now looks like they have new people and i want to mention one person which is more than professional, educated and many other good things his name is Ray this person deserves to be #1 in the company by the way he is managing and solving issues he is always there to help anyone i hope he will be with Madigan for many years. For now it's only 4 stars because i feel they can offer better value to experienced employees, with esteem and respect.

Called on 3 seperate occasions during the week to be assured that I will get paid, because I already figured out how useless they can be. On every occasion they assured me I would. Obviously, as a construction site operative working for Madigan Gill, you don t learn anything about the structure of the company, its policies and practices, and how it implements legal and other requirements, such as equal opportunities; so my review will be based upon the performance of Madigan Gill with reference to the following points:-
Whether or not they are easily approachable and listened when contacted;
Their reliability, punctuality and accuracy in paying wages, and their readiness and speed regarding correcting errors on the rare occasions when these occur;
Whether or not they appear to reward genuine effort.
Firstly, you can always speak to helpful known contacts on their mobiles and the main office on its landline number. The office sends me texts about other vacancies they are looking to fill, which is handy if I happen to be bored or dissatisfied in a given position. Also, if a representative is visiting the site for some particular reason, they will always make time to speak to you personally if you have some request or issue you wish to raise with them. You can also contact members of the team via email.
The method through which I get paid means that I get a confirmation text several days before the money is actually credited to my bank account. This gives you a sense of security and allows you to raise queries concerning the amount either with Madigan Gill, the construction company or directly with Madigan Gill s firm of accountants. This way, if there does happen to be an error, it can be corrected before you actually receive the money so that on pay day the received sum is correct. Madigan Gill also gives me a choice of how I want to receive my holiday pay. While I ve worked for them I have never been under-paid or paid late.
Finally, since I have had a couple of pay rises while I ve worked for Madigan Gill, I can only say that they do appear to reward effort.
From my point of view, therefore, Madigan Gill meet all the criteria that I have drawn up and as an employer I would rate them as good.
They cut you off if you turn down even one job. They're extremely rude and disrespectful towards you with no consideration or care as to why the job wasn't for you.
If you're someone who has at any point in your life not liked something, and therefore have dismissed it due to not being happy (which everyone has), then you're best steering well away from this company.
I Would not recommend to anyone.
