One of the best University in Kerala accredited A grade by ugc India, has vide area of functioning in Kerala. It's located in Malappuram district, with a lot of college and course. Except the final year result all are lagging regularly.
College Main Campus is perfect. But entire university is not too good

The university is a vast area with different education sections spread over several acres.
When you come here be prepared to walk and run. Would advise to bring your own vehicles as you will be made to run around.
My wife was supposed to get attested copies of her B'sc marksheet and convocation certificate. For that she had to first go to enquiry counter, then second came the payment of fees and third came the submission of receipt and docs to the university staff. Now for all this work they will make you do the walking from one place to another. Each building is apprimately at a distance of 300 mins. So by the time you complete everything you would have walked for atleast 2 kms!!!
Sounds crazy??? Not to mention the stairs one climbs in each building... You just get exhausted and hence the low ratings. Now for the pricing of each attested copy they will charge you Rs 1575/- as on dated 16 Nov 2018.
The university is under staffed and the employees have lots of work as was being complained by some staff members. Basically they will make you run around for their work and then charge handsomely for your services... Simply unbelievable!
The campus is spread on both sides of the road and is easily noticeable while travelling. It has some old buildings and some garden areas. Washrooms are not well maintained with match boxes and cigarette packs all around. I didn't even notice CCTV cameras installed at some areas which can be a security risk. As usual politics runs over here as well like all other education institutions in Kerala. Lots of improvement to be done to make the place student and friendly for the general public.
Overall was a frustrating experience to just wait, watch and then pay like it's in a circus...

They need to fill each student name correctly to there records after checking plus2 and 10th certificate. But they don't. ... and imposing to student to pay 500 - 1000RS to make makrlist name change. If a student have 10 - 15 marklist. He need to may 10000+ to make the change.... !!!

I hate this university because of they are not punctual. They are irresponsible. their teaching quality is very poor. The bad behavior of teachers. They are not teaching and wasting their time by saying other irrelevant reasons, then they are taking special classes. many students were missed that. Irresponsible behavior in lab. We have a very vary bad lab. Other reasons are unmentionable.....

Wonderful infrastructure. Situated in between Thrissur and Calicut NH. Rs.95 ticket from Thrissur ksrtc stand and Rs.24 from Calicut ksrtc bus stand. Almost all services to students like migration certificate, tc, equallancy etc are arranged in the front office near to school of distance education itself. No need to travel to administrative block which is 1.5 km away from main entrance. If you are for any interview please go to recruitment cell directly which is in the second floor of administrative building near to VC's and Registrar's office.
People are friendly but it takes ever to get something done.
hi guys let me tell you one thing that never ever join calicut university .engineering college under this university are very bad .Especially a college name Sahrdaya College of Enginnering and Technology(SCET) in Kodakara.It is by far the worst college i have heard in my life and me my self have experienced it .In here in this college we are not allowed to use mobile .And if i go on to tell you all the cons about the college then i have to type endless nights .Let me tell you one thing is that they teach here only to score to good marks .THIS IS NOT A COLLEGE IT IS A SCHOOL.........

Great University to study in. Although it's true that results take many months to come up, there are many facilities provided by the University. The staffs are helpful to the students in case you have any doubts or so. It's a nice atmosphere inside the huge campus; they have a botanical garden in the University surroundings.

University Of Calicut established by the effort of CH Muhammed Koya sahib, MLA of Indian Union Muslim league. Now the University has well established structure of systems. Specific aras for every authority and security gaurd will guide you from entrance to your destination of purpose. Systematically numbered sections and sub sections give you direction. And officers have good attitude towards almost all students.
Universities are mere rumors that are not even made by calling the phone .. They do not have to be responsible for the reason for going to Malappuram from Ernakulam .. The lazy bunch of idiots ..

But employees(not all) are more inclined to the parties and they are not concentrating in their jobs.
