teaches more than a thousand people computer science.. still can't figure out, how to maintain a website. What a tremendous waste of youth.

Worst till now,the university gives you a date and reschedules it and creates so much problems ,the NRI students are badly affect as they have to cancel the tickets and are unable to go on vacations,nothing happens on time the university is like they just run it for fun.......no seriousness nothing they just change dates according to their wish and conduct and postpone college events and things According to there wish,I don't know why still they are one among the top universities may be it's because they maybe having enough money to keep up their name.

sarcasm must give an A+ for the timeliness of Calicut University

I am pursuing my BSc Computer science here. It is the 3rd and final year, there are some delays in between exams and results. Overall it is fine, but this university can't be chosen for an excellent quality service, but their certificate has values.

the University just can't publish the list of students selected for UG courses in time (9.7.2018). maybe because of problems connected with internet. but if it can't tackle such silly problems, how can it conduct courses in COMPUTER SCIENCE AND IT and issue certificates?

Good campus. Good atmosphere. Green campus.
But the problem is with examination results. Students still have to wait more than a year for results at times. The worst thing is the website. Apart from the appearance , it is hang or unavailable after a result or an allotment being published.

worst university cant even give any stars. zero value for students life. Results are late, bad administrators overall its a hell on earth.

Top university in kerala. Even though labeled as calicut university, but it is not only the university for calicut. Exactly it includes colleges from 5 districts of kerala. Those are Malappuram, Thrissur, Palakkad, Kozhikode and Vayanadu respectively .Which provides quality courses with standard syllabus and study pattern. It was founded in 1968. I have done my graduation from this very university and currently doing my post graduation under this university.

Syllabus adopted from Regional Engineering College Calicut (Present NIT Calicut). No adequate updation in subjects according to current industry needs. Exam results are very lagging. Students are compelled to write supplementary examination without publishing their re-evaluation result.

Only few of the among the staffs are cooperative , most of the time one will be depressed by the methods and responses from there. It's very unfortunate that a prestigious educational institution is deteriorating to third grade standard. There will not be anybody to pick your phone call , if anyone attends there won't be any proper answers , if things come to results and valuation no one has any idea how they are doing it .It is one of the worst institutions ever

Please provide a working helpline number on the official website. All the numbers are either switched off or out of range. How can students contact the university and inquire if this is the case??

University syllabus is good but exam and result not held at correct time

It is a good university and very value certificate but it is little complicated to pass the examination and very delay in knowing the examination results otherwise it is good

Wonderful campus with lot of facilities.. free wifi campus.. A big library with lots of books.. large stadium with synthetic track.. parking facilities.. Visit park inside the campus...

This is the worst University I have ever come across
they provide help desk numbers and when we call no one takes the call
The exam valuation is very poor when we give for revaluation the marks will be increased by 20 and above so we loose our time and money
If anyone gets supplymentory after 3rd semester, then he looses one year

I'm a student of 4th SAM. We screwed students and you stressed that you did not get the test a week ahead of the test. This is the feedback that the officials will get to know. If the mistakes are wrong then why do not you think that's why it's in the job? I do not even know why it's better than you. Why do you make us feel so low? EDUCATION Asking us not to be a BUSSINESS We are not in STUDENTS anymore ... feel shame about irresspossible where they do their job so careless They dont deserve good from god.

Outstanding syllabi that make able to win every university entrance or exam...
Problem is only in the sector of service.moto is " students are most important guest".but can not be seen in serving.... Students always raising problems regarding exam results,cerificate issuing..etc

Poor Response from all the departments, have to wait almost a year for a semester result. Poor website response, domain is down most of the time.

It's very easily noticable from the main roads obviously many stalwalts in the current and in past who serving us got their degree and enlightenment from this institution only

I tried to give less than a star but it isn't possible . I am from Karnataka and for some personal reasons I settled in Calicut and registered under Distance education. I think this is the worst decision I have ever made in my life by joining the Calicut University. I wanna say that this is the worst University I had ever seen and heard of. The exams will never take place without a postpone or two atleast. All my schedules which I made after day-night efforts and the plans to go gulf even after booking tickets were broken. I can't even make a good schedules in my life. After writing the first sem I long awaited for the results until the 3rd sem is going to be held after 2 weeks. The result came on 01-12-2018 but with a problem. When I tried open the site, it was too busy. Even the SSLC site will not have these kinds of busy or server jams. Me and my friends kept trying to open the site all along the day but got nothing. The next day we got access to the site until reg. no. and captcha. When I tried to submit the information it showed me " the registration no. is invalid or your result is currently not available". I kept trying for days. Kept trying whenever I get free. But all efforts are useless. And today is 06-12-2018 I still didn't get my result. This university needs a lot of improvements. I never suggest anyone to commit these kinds of mistakes in their life.

Now the official website of university is really fast n easy to access, since it is divided into different modules such as B.Tech, pg, medical, etc.. B.Tech and M.Tech Examination Results are announced as soon as possible by the university.

A university should not be given a 1 star; but the administration here is worst to hell. The lazy, unprofessional, idiot and misleading arrogant people in the campus administration is worth to make your duration of course to experience the real hell. Tagor hall is the place where all nonsense people of the world is accommodated; if you ask the process of getting TC , migration, original certificate , they will give 10 misleading ways ..

As everyone saying the bad experience, I also had very bad experience with the university especially worst campus politics.

It's one among the biggest universities in Kerala. The university campus is a big one and have many academic & administrative sections. Pareeksha bhavan controlling the exams of all colleges under university of calicut is present inside the campus. Several attractions like botanical garden, buyterfly park, children's park, indoor and outdoor stadium with synthetic track, swimming pool and a lot more facilities help student to build a strong educational and extracurricular base during their college life.

one of the best and nice university in India. I did my graduation and post graduation from here. Exams postponing are quiet natural, which may effects your higher studies.
