Valerie and Mario were great. I went in for a Jeep Compass that had been sold but Valerie was still able to get me going in a 2014 Toyota Camry and Mario was able to finish the paperwork rather quickly the next day.
I just traded my leased vehicle in for a new 2019 Camry and worked with one of there sales reps Ernest Ayala. He was very professional and unlike most car salesman didn't like to waste time. I told him exactly what I wanted, what my plans are and what my budget was. He was honest on what I could afford and couldn't afford and made it happen. If you're planning on getting a vehicle from this location I'd suggest Ernest to anyone.

The used car I bought had problems. They said they ll fix it before they sell, they didn t. I brought report from firestone , to prove the problem, director mark said do you know how they make money(firestone) he means car is fine but firestone lie to fix my car. Another mechanic told same issues and I m getting the car fixed now.
Director Mark drove the car with me he did not hear the noise coming from front, obviously he lied. If you can lie good enough you can become a director at Universal Toyota. This is the only skill you need because it is impossible to not understand the noise is wheel bearing and struts related for a director of a used car part.
I said to Mark, I ll earn $2000 extra money that I ll spend to fix this car and you ll loose $2000.
Thank God, my soul is not for sale for $2000 as some others.
By the way Mark had a very pleasant smile while he indicated he is the director not manager. Lier is a lier not matter the title!

We just bought a Toyota Tundra 2016 this June. Aaron was our sales person. Aaron Perches is really knowledgeable and funny. He was excellent in handling our purchase. He was able to find the perfect vehicle to suit both our needs and wants. He worked extremely hard to exceed our requests when negotiating our asked price with both, the financial department and manager. We had an excellent experience due to his ability to honor all our requests. We would definitely recommend Aaron as your sales person.

No doubt this place has awesome customer service . I bought a family ride here few months back . It had so many problems. They offered to buy it back . And give me an amazing deal on another ride . Me and my family are happy . We bought a used lemon the first time . But universal Toyota made it right . With taking care of us . The finance manager ever made out deal better when we went to sign . He upgraded our warranty. And it didn't cost us a dime . I will be back for our next vehicle purchase for sure .

Not the worst experience but very unorganized. Found a coupon for an oil change and tire rotation on TOYOTAs MAIN WEBSITE. And specifically for this location it had a special for an oil change, inspection, tire rotation for $80. When I showed them the coupon they didnt believe it. And asked where I found it... it was ON THEIR VERY OWN WEBSITE!!!! SPECIFIC TO UNIVERSAL. After a few minutes of navigating and typing the url exactly did they say "OH LOOKS LIKE IT IS HERE" Sigh... nice people but they need to figure out the logistics of their own systems. Actual work was done without issues.

Took my Tacoma to get brake change they were helpful right away and quick. Also was a lot cheaper than other dealership.
Always have a positive experience at this place. I ve attempted other dealerships but I can truly say that the staff, specifically JR, knows the type of quality service I expect. He s never forced a service that maybe wasn t necessary. He s understanding of the budget I have to work with. He gets it. The dealership could possibly improve on wait time since this dealership services such a large area. Besides that, this dealership is among the better options to get your vehicle serviced.
Our internet sales rep was David Joiner, and he was great the whole way through. We discussed what we were looking for and price range we wanted to stay in & he was able to accommodate. Cali Mike, my car salesmen, saw me and came to check on me even when he did not have to. Nate, another salesman, talked to me just to make sure I was okay.

My experiences with Universal Toyota have been excellent! I have purchased four Tundras in the past and the last one has best my totally best experience of all. My salesman, Nate, is so helpful and continues to stay in contact with me after a year and a half......... always available for a question (even calls me on my birthday!) And Jessie, my Service Advisor, is awesome! I recently had a recall service and they rented me a vehicle, but I only needed it for barely one day! Jessie is very considerate and I trust his recommendations completely. I feel I my Tundra is in good hands at Universal Toyota!

I have purchase the car on 24th July. The price sale person agreed and me was not there on the final sale contract. The price was too higher when I found reported this they refused to accept their mistake and change the contract on the initial agreed price. I am extremely disappoint with their attitude to deal with customer and feeling cheated by the Universal Toyota as they have eaten my $2500 which the CAR is not worth of it. I suggest buyers to buy from this dealer as the sale person at this center say one thing and put another thing on final documentation. Please be advised that please be aware of this as they point your mistake telling that you signed for all their mistake to cheat the customer.

If you want the run around go to this Toyota dealership, I have taken my 2015 Camry 3 times to get a weather strip replaced and they still have not replaced it, But keep telling me 2 hrs. We are a family that owns several Toyotas, But trust me we will NEVER even consider purchasing another Toyota from UNIVERSAL TOYOTA.. I made an appointment for the first service for my Corolla on the Universal Toyota website. It was really easy to schedule and set up. Didn't know what to expect with the service department, so I was a bit apprehensive.
Arriving at the service lanes, I was greeted and escorted into the building to meet with my service advisor. He explained what needed to be checked and how much it would cost. I was told that it would be around one hour for the car to be checked out, but it turned out to only be around 30 minutes.
The waiting area is very nice -- it has very comfortable plush chairs and couches and a couple of TVs. There are also charging stations available along one wall, with a counter and stools. They have free coffee, though not bottled water. There is a vending machine for sodas.
After the work on my car was completed, my service advisor explained everything that had been done and checked, and then walked me up to the payment window. A couple of minutes later, the car was waiting for me out front.
The whole deal was much easier, quicker and less expensive than I had expected.
I just bought a pre owned Tacoma from these guys and DJ hooked it up!! DJ bent over backwards and did everything he could to ensure I was happy and buying the car I wanted!

My son purchased his first truck today & let me just say we had the best car buying experience with salesman Zeke Quiroz & Valerie from finance. There was never any pressure or never made us feel rushed. My son even recieved almost $1000 off for being active military! We appreciate businesses that honor our military . We purchased the awesome truck at a great price! Next time we're in the market to purchase we'll definitely go see Zeke again... oh just one thing I feel the need to mention, I asked another salesman who was handing us the keys if the truck had been filled with gas & he said they are only allowed to put 5 gallons of gas in preowned vehicles. That kinda made us feel a little "less than" a brand new car buyer but it really wasn't a big deal. Not enough to keep us from buying there again, just thought it was really odd. All in all we are very happy & satisfied with my son's first vehicle purchase

My wife and I had been communicating with Universal for a couple days before. I had told them the truck I wanted and they told me the day before they we're going to pick it up from their other lot and it would be there when I showed up . I show up today and the truck I wanted is nowhere to be seen . I'm told the other lot is "working a deal on the truck" .Then why did you say yesterday you were going to pick up the truck and why didn't you tell me that when I called you a hour before I drove all the way from Austin to look at this truck that you told me you picked up last night?? Then they try and sell me a worn out tundra and when I say I don't like it they look confused . Five hours later I ask them to call the other lot and ask them about the original truck I wanted. I'm told they are still trying to work the deal over there. Long story short we got a complete run around and waisted a Saturday dealing with these jokers . Petty much got lied to from start to finish.

Salesman in the front and associates outside are attentive and professional I was told by the front desk to go the back I had a simple finance paper to get signed I sat there thirty minutes no one who passed through asked if I needed assistance at all. I purchased a vehicle with hard earned money. I'm a resident and a service member of San Antonio. Other dealerships always attend to customers that is not the way to do business.

Doesn t matter if you make an appointment or not because it took me about 2 hours just to rotate my tires and top off fluids. Also sat in the waiting room freezing the whole time. It s 45 degrees outside and raining the least they could do was put the heater on. Ridiculous.
Zero integrity. Went in Saturday night to look at used trucks. Found a 2004 Tundra, looked great, drove great. It was closing time so I told the sales rep I had to get my down payment together and contact my bank for financing. They were closed Sunday. We made an appointment for today (Monday) right after work at 6pm to complete everything. I was called by the sales manager at 420pm to make sure I was still keeping my appointment. Was told everything would be ready for me to look at. I called at 6pm to let the rep know I was running behind a few minutes but I got financed with my bank and had down payment. He then told me the truck already sold. In less than 2 hours? They are not trying to create customer loyalty. Clearly they will pull the rug out from under you unless you impulsively buy. One thing that could have saved face with me is if they just called me and told me the truck sold. To lie to me or be so unprepared that you don't know the truck is sold and yet be willing to still let me take my valuable time to drive out there is just unscrupulous. Will never do business here because I cannot trust that anything they do or say is going to be honored. I'd rather go somewhere that values customer relations and keeps their word, especially if I've kept mine.
