After driving 250 miles to get it there were parts missing and falling off of it and it had been wrecked multiple times. They told me i could pay them more and they would take care of most of the damage. Don't waste your time with these guys.

Last night my family and I went to a festival and I drop my car keys on the carnival grounds. I lost my car keys for the first time and reached the dealers web, selected the online option of contacting a live representative via chat from Universal Toyota. I assumed the automatic system responded welcome to toyota....blah.blah.blah. How can we help you. I immediately explained my situation in detail and never got a reply back and requested guidance. I paid a towing company and the firemen took care of my needs. But I find it very wrong from Universal Toyota to have an active system for online assistance if they are incapable of providing guidance or aren't willing to assist common questions like me. Perhaps was disregarded for not being considered important. But to me is an important inquire. I still dont know how will I be able to get to work or move around without my key. Lock Smith does not create the key for my car because it has a chip and that can lock my car.

I am writing this to express my complete and utter frustration with the experience I've had here. This place has been a nightmare and I absolutely REGRET ever purchasing anything from this location. I have had to make SEVERAL (~8-10) trips to Universal Toyota, and it seems I will have to make even more trips since I purchased my vehicles there in the span of 4 months time. None of it was for services to my vehicles. I live roughly 30-35 miles away so it has been a HUGE inconvenience for both me, and my wife. We have better things to do than to constantly drive back and forth to your dealership because of your errors.

First of, I was apparently given the wrong license plates for my Honda by you. Seems that they switched the license plates that I ve had on my vehicle with another vehicle, and I had to return them IMMEDIATELY. Mind you, I had been driving around in that vehicle for over 3 months time at that point. Imagine that it took them 3 months to realize they had given me the wrong plates. This was only because the other customer complained about it when he noticed the error. I had an argument with a Bobby Garza at Universal Toyota because of this. Bobby told me to bring the plates back so he can return the wrong plates because the customer needed them as soon as possible. Why? Was my correct plates ready for me? Did that other driver already "immediately" returned HIS incorrect plates? No. What was the rush then? Was this other customer so much more important than me that I HAD to return the plates immediately? Did he spend more money there than I had? Was that the reason? No reason was given. I just HAD to return the plates immediately. My argument with Bobby Garza escalated because apparently I was wasting his time, and because he believed that I was only looking for something for free. I mean excuse me for wasting HIS time, and for not cooperating as I should because of your error here. I finally agreed to return the plates because Bobby agreed to top off my gas tank to compensate me. He lied. I drove off MAD.

A few days later, I received another phone call. I was informed the plates I returned, and was demanded by, by Bobby Garza was incorrect. So NOW I had to return the plates on my wife s car. Imagine the frustration growing even more. ANOTHER trip to have this corrected. I had to wait an additional month before I even got my original plates back for my Honda because what's a month when you were given a temporary plate that lasts only 10 days.

Additionally, we never received the spare key made for the Prius we bought (~4 months now), per Bobby Garza. Why? Probably because you bunch at Universal Toyota do not care in the slightest for your customers at all.

It took over 3 months just to get the spare key for my pre-owned Honda. Robbie Vasquez was our salesperson, but he was the least helpful guy once you signed off on the vehicles. You never could seem to reach him. Texting, calling, emailing nothing got through. I finally got my spare for my Honda after 3 months of waiting. He had promised to have it mailed out multiple times, and each time broke that promise. I asked him to mail out that spare key prior to us coming in again, and he stated he would not because we were going to be there again anyway. Rude, right? Should I be surprised anymore at this point at how bad Universal Toyota s customer service is? I shouldn t, but I keep getting surprised at how bad they are each time I am mistreated. I even spoke with a Shauna Sewinkski(?) , another high ranking individual there at that location, and was promised to compensation for all the trips in the form of a gas card. Guess what? No gas card. Lied to AGAIN. Voicemails and messages go un-responded, and emails are returned because the email address I was given was incorrect.

I am EXTREMELY disappointed in the service and the lack of care that I have received from you all. You lot are DESPICABLE!!

EVERYONE NEEDS TO STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!!

This is the second car I purchased from Universal Toyota. I initially went to another Toyota for the second car but they were rude, pushy, and unprofessional. UC Toyota kept their word and made the whole experience pleasant.

As I sit here on my third visit to figure out what s wrong with my tire all I can say is DON T BUY from Universal Toyota. There s been a nail in the tire and it has been slowly deflating I mentioned it on our oil change in the beginning of the month and they said nothing was wrong, I came in three days ago specifically for the tire and they told me nothing was wrong and allowed me to drive off the lot. The next day the tire pressure light comes on and I check the PSI it s at 25 which they filled it to 35. We knew something was wrong with the tire and they just didnt bother checking it correctly. They don t care about your safety and are just plain lazy trading my car ASAP.

We got a great deal on a 2020 Corolla HB & 2020 RAV-4. Great experience from beginning to end & transparent deal. They worked with us parked outside because my wife had just given birth 2 weeks ago and didn t feel safe going inside with a new born. The sales team went above and beyond for us (Paul & Jose) they even drove the new cars to our house and picked up the trade ins. And the GM. Mr. SOTO worked out a great deal for us.

She was not aggressive. We came to purchase a truck and also left buying a 2017 Highlander and a 2017 Tacoma. Her skills are unsurpassed. She is the "best" salesperson I have ever encountered in my 65 years. I will recommend her to friends and associates. She should be recognized by her peers and be considered for selection for more responsibilities-such as a management position. Her abilities will have customers return. He made sure to thank us for purchasing from Toyota in the past and made us feel like we were part of the Toyota family. Because of him we ended up leaving with two vehicles. Finally they switched to a GMC that has been in 3 different dealerships for the same issue (Universal could NOT find any issue). Even gm service cannot seem to fix. The attention to detail and the attention to you is just out of this planet came in and out of the dealership in 2.5hrs if you're like me I'm super busy and normal waiting time is all day, they're straight to the point and NO Bs they tell it like it is no maybes!
If I had more stars I would give them more the service and the attention that you get from Universal Toyota is hand down the best in Austin/san Antonio area.

I finally got to Universal Toyota and was greeted by a Sales Pro who listened, reconfirmed, listened again, and brought us to a solution that fit exactly what we were looking for. We ended up leasing two vehicles for our teen age daughters and couldn't be happier. Universal Toyota took the pain away and made the experience as good as can be. Thanks!

The salesman asked what we did for a living then proceeded to use it against when negotiating. We decided the original salesman we spoke to was not who we wanted to work with so we called back to talk to someone else who seemed much more honest and willing to work with us. We never got a call back. Come to find out they salesmen spoke to one another and decided to let the jerk handle the sale. This dealership is a joke! Stereotypical salesmen! Don t do business with these guys.

I had a great experience buying my car from y'all. My salesman, Hans Hardin, really worked hard on getting the deal I needed. Then after buying the car (pre-owned) I had a flat tire. Hans drove all the way out to change the tire and put on the spare. Then just a couple days later, when the new tire came in, he drove all the way out to my work, and put the new tire on for me! That is over and above type service. That's the treatment that will make me refer everyone to y'all!

Buying a car is scary as a young buyer but they made it hassle free and were willing to work with me. Make sure you go and see Horace he'll get you in the car you want even if you didn't think you could afford it! I have already purchased 2 vehicles from him and can't imagine going to anyone else. As far as Fiance managers go I don't think I'd want anyone but Valerie Solis because she broke everything down for me that I didn't understand and was happy to do it. And as for Service, I only ever ask for Felix. He always makes sure that what you need gets done in a timely manner and also makes time to speak with you if you have any questions if he hasn't already. I really enjoy how Universal Toyota makes me feel. Never just a customer to them.

I found a car at this location using the true car app. You know, the app where they give you a no haggle price that they are supposed to honor. I decide I want to purchase the car for said price and then they tell me, well actually that isn't the price. They proceed to tell me because of dealership fees it is going to be a few thousand more. I'm sorry but the typical fee for dealership paperwork is $150. They continue to insult my intelligence by counter offering 3 times, each time dropping the price just a couple hundred bucks, moving costs from one category (dealership fee, car price, extended warranty, etc.) to the next to make it look like they are actually trying to help me out. I end up walking out because I wasn't born yesterday and not going to put up with the BS. I report them to true car through USAA and they make them change the price on the app. I monitor the car online and they later change it back to the original price I was trying to get it for. So they are intentionally luring people in with the low price and not honoring it. The car ended up sitting there for months, which I got a laugh at as they couldn't sell it due to their shady tactics. They even had the balls to call me after a month to try and get me to come in again. Nope, I don't do business with shady swines. DO NOT GO HERE FOR A CAR AND DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH DJ... worst dealership ever

John was with us from the time we entered until the deal was inked. We went in wanting to buy but after exploring all options, leasing was best for our son giving him a new vehicle with payments he can more than handle. This reduced his stress level having to balance work and school. He can now work less hours and concentrate more on school. I went yesterday to get my 10k maintenance done & they looked really busy. Miss Schweickardt helped process me & was very friendly & professional. She went over with me what was done to my vehicle & mentioned according to the checklist that my cabin air filter still had some life to it. After looking over the part list on the receipt I noticed what looked like an air filter annotated. I asked her if my filters seemed ok why was this particular part listed. She made a call to verify the part & said it appeared that the cabin filter was replaced. I decided to check the filter myself & it obviously had not been replaced due to the debris inside. I went back inside to show Miss. Schweickardt & she quickly apologized & gave me a new filter. She also informed that my current filter still had some life to it & it wasn't necessary for replacement. My concern is how often does this happen to other customers when they're told certain work is being done & it's not. I don't expect this from a reputable company like Toyota.

Professionalism at its finest there, I cought you in the scam you get mad at me. Save your money and time don't buy a car here.

David Roberts in the pre owned lot had to deal with me being a jerk most of the time but he kept his cool and kept working with me and I got just what I was looking for at exactly the price I wanted! He even offered to drop my new car off to me the next day because it needed to be detailed and he actually did drop it off! Customer service at it's best! Cinnamon in the finance office was also very kind and thorough walking me through all the paper work. I definitely recommend Universal Toyota to any car shoppers out there. Purchased a used car here and it had 4 bad motor mounts. When I test drove it it was fine as I did not have a chance to "really get on" the engine. I called and setup an appointment for them to look at it. First off, I was there all day just to get it looked at (There was a lady that was there for six hours with her kids waiting on her oil to be changed and was treated very rudely.) They looked at my Audi and stated that they would fix it. The problem was that it took two weeks to fix! They literally had it for two weeks... This place is amazing.
1, they don't care about you.
2, they are rude, very rude.
3, their used car lot sells broke cars.
4, I was told the night prior to my purchase of said car I would get it for a certain price. When I went back the next day it was $1000 more.
5, I purchased an extended warranty... Here's the hustle... It was $4000 extra and supposed to be for 2 years. This is were it gets good.. it was only good for 15k miles!!! It's in the fine print.
6, I recently had an issue with my AC fan motor. I called and spoke with them and setup an appointment with them. Drove 1 1/2 hours and was told they "do not work on Audi's". Funny thing is, they worked on it before!!!

I highly recommend you do not purchase anything from this establishment. STAY AWAY!!

Had a great experience with Universal Toyota 10 years ago. This time not so good. The salesmen were nice enough but changed price from one day to next for same car; the old bait and switch - just went somewhere else and got the deal I wanted.

My wife and I enjoy the professionalism of Blake Heggie he is so awesome I followed him from Mission Mitshubishi if his ass worked at toyota sooner I wouldn't be in my SUV but because of a great professional salesman like Blake, we have no regrets just let's us pass on the vehicle to our son and I'm looking forward to getting my second vehicle from there. We have a 2016 Toyota Corolla the team there is great better than Mission Mitshubishi. There is a huge difference in customer service and loyalty. We're now a family of Toyota and when we can we're differently getting rid of the Mitshubishi SUV and getting another toyota for our son. I highly recommend if you need talk to Blake he's the best I think they got and wish his ass worked there before when we started shopping for a new vehicle. A person and dealership like toyota universal is hard to find but now we are home when coming to buying vehicles!! Keep up the hard work and dedication you guys and girls do!!!

I took my 2013 Tundra in for service and it was at the end of its warranty. I decided to walk around and had Ernest my salesman approach me. Very professional so I was comfortable walking around with him and not feeling pressured. He found me a truck that fit just what I needed except for a few items which he had installed and delivered to me on the date promised. Had an issue with the truck but Ernest was on it as well as the Sales Manager who made it right and had me back in my new truck that day. When it comes to buying my next Tundra, Universal is where I'll buy it. Thanks to Ernest and your team for taking good care of me and making sure that I, the customer, was the priority. Serviced Adviser Rick Olivarez and Carlos Landing mechanic are awesome. I only use Rick and I request only Carlos to touch my vehicle.
Rick is extremely polite and sincere. Carlos is the best mechanic in that shop. Te both very professionals and will make your visit there pleasant.

They do a good job but shouldn't call it "express" for oil changes. It's never under an hour and a half wait. I was there 3 hours one time but they did give me the oil change for free.

Frederick from universal Toyota was so rude to me over the phone. I was in a car accident which totalled my car and so I utilized USAA's car buying service to find a replacement. The service automatically sent my information to nearby dealerships. Frederick called me asking if I wanted to make an appointment and I said I no thank you because I was still waiting for my check for the totalled car. After I finally got my check, I found another car at a lower price and purchased it. Frederick called me for a follow up and I informed him that I already purchased a car and I wasn't interested. He responded rudely with sarcasm and interrogated me about why I didn't call him back. Excuse me I didn't realize I was obligated to call back every single dealership that contacted me. So unprofessional.
