Focuses more on the big kids, however there is still lots to do with the little ones. To experience the Hogwarts express, you need to have both parks on your ticket, as in park hopper, if you don't you can buy it at the train stations. It's an awesome experience to be able to submerge yourself in many different universes, as well as having the opportunity to meet some of the characters also!

The Universal studios main park was a wonderful experience. While the Transformers, Minions, and other rides were unique in their own right, Diagon Alley was the highlight. It really seemed as though we were present in the movie, and the Gringots ride is incredible fun as well. I never thought I would praise the line to wait for a ride, but this one is worthy of it. (Of course the ride is great too!)
We ve came twice already in the last 2 months the lines are faster very few rides closed and they have rest areas if you want to take your masks off for a breather! has been a wonderful experience can t wait to go back again soon we didn t use a fast pass and we did both parks in two days.
Awesome place for family to visit. We had a 3 day pass between the 2 Parks Universal and Islands Of Adventure.Let me tell you whew we had the best time of our lives. We were able to go whenever we wanted to so we went when the sun went down an we took our time and rode all the great rides that we wanted to.. The best rides were Harry Potter, Jurassic Park, Transformers etc. The best part about it was that my son visited when he was younger an he was able to guide us through the whole entire park by remembrance of where everything was now how cool was that. I swear it cut a lot of the time down trying to figure out where everything was located!!! So if you are clothes to these two places go and visit you would regret it!!!
We were there on a Saturday at 11 and couldn't get in because on in was at full capacity. We drove from North Carolina buy tickets and I couldn't get in. They have a promotion for residents of Florida in which they pay one day and can go as many times as they want and us people that drive from far away can't in. Even if we pay full price for the days we were going to go. REALLY UNIVERSAL
Awesome park, friendly people. If your celebrating a special day, my husband and daughters birthday.. make sure you let them know and you will get a button. They were told happy birthday by everyone working at the park and hotel.. All the park workers were very careful about the masks and made sure people kept them on when needed and gently reminded people to put them on when they saw it. Kept an eye on the 6 ft distance, when then could. Most everyone visiting did good with masks and distance.

Just another Friday at the park!! Always a great time when I'm here! If it's just my little one and the wife or my 2 teens making it a family day, we enjoy the rides for 8yrs and under along with a little parent swap for those huge thrill rides.
Great experience!! Bathrooms were unbelievably clean for being the busiest season of the year for them. They even had bathroom attendants to stock and clean.
I also liked their process for those choosing to opt out of biometrics. They were pulled to the side and ids checked quickly and efficiently. Quite the opposite of the Disney way. Kudos and thank you, Universal for getting it right!
One feedback would be if the locker process could be refined. People just crowd the locker area as pick up and drop off is scanned in the same place. There is an attendant there, but it is a disorganized process. Could put in a bit more thought into getting some order there.
Harry Potter land was pretty cool. Loved all the buildings. So for people who didn't really watch all the movies or read the books. It's still enjoyable.

We purchased the Florida Resident tickets and drove 3 hours to visit the park on Saturday, Oct. 19th. When we arrived we were advised the parks were at capacity by the parking attendant and saw signs displaying the same. The attendant told me that the previous 3 Saturdays, the parks also reached capacity however in the afternoons around 4-5pm they would allow more guests to enter as people left. I agreed to purchase the $26 parking ticket based off that information in hopes we'd be able to get in. As we approached the gate to the park, about 75-100 people were already waiting. We joined the line and shortly after a park employee advised no additional people would be allowed in. They were anticipating the Islands of Adventure people to fill the Universal park up once that park closed at 5pm. We were handed a card to call guest services and told to leave. My 8 year old daughter was heartbroken. She's never been to Universal and was excited to go. As a parent, it's extremely hard to see your child crying and can't do anything about it. If Universal had their act together like Disney, they would require reservations to enter the park. That way you'd know in advance of spending money and drive time and not crush a child who had their hopes up. SHAME ON YOU PEOPLE!! My tickets are not refundable and now had to reserve a room at one of their hotels to guarantee we can get in. Seems like a tactic to take more money from people already under financial constraints with the pandemic. Next time my family will spend our money at Disney and not Universal Studios.
i recently went during this pandemic, I highly recommend not to go on the weekends, holidays, etc. Just be aware that everything is pretty much under reservation via the Universal Studios app, if you aren't patient, or willing to spend a couple hours for some rides or events, don't go.

The COVID19 protocols are sufficient, but not everybody follows. We went 3 times the week of June 5th. As the week progressed, people got more comfortable taking their masks off.
It is so much fun. All the rides are great, there's lots of great food, and they have done a good job with Corona virus rules, and enforcing them.

Me and my lady planned a week stay and had a year to put back. We got the meal, snack, and unlimited drink plan that was awesome. loved the boat ride back to hard rock after having an adventure of a day. My lady is a Harry Potter fan and tis her first time going we got alot alot of souvenirs and the room service having it delivered to your room helped out so much. Every day was truly epic one morning we got picked to open the park and a photo pass. The staff was amazing and helpful had all the answers to our questions. Some may say it's overpriced but to me it's worth it and a nice tip. The food, buildings, shows, rides, etc. Well done Universal Studios we can't wait to visit again till next time.
The place was blast to visit plenty of stuff to see and things to do. Unfortunately we went the day after new year's and it was packed. The wait to get in to the rides was way too long and my feet hurt for three days afterwards. Also there prices were outrageous.

Beautiful during the Christmas holidays. This is the best place to take your family for great food, rides, and a great character experience. The people who work here really care about making your vacation wonderful. Annual passes make everything even better.

We did the 2 day / 2 park private VIP tour and it made our experience at the park easy and stress free. Our tour guide, Tyler L, was excellent!!! I really enjoyed not having to plan out the day or stress over which ride we need to rush off to next. We just follow Tyler as he escorts us to the front of each ride. He engage and listen to the kids for all their needs. While we were in Harry Potter world, he took the time to show each kid how to cast the spell at each window. All 3 meals were included. Tyler had made dinner reservation for us and I was very pleasantly surprised on both nights we sat right on-time of the reservation.
Super awesome the best in covid safety that you will find anywhere. We had a great time and felt very safe during our entire experience. Thank you Universal!!
This is a hard theme park to review. Prices are somewhat expensive if you are only going for the day, however, there is plenty to keep you busy throughout the day. Honestly, the only reason we went was bc of Harry Potter world. If it s not crowded you can EASILY do the HP worlds in one day. (Ps make sure you buy the ticket that allows you access to both parks or else you ll only see one part of HP world). Dr Suess part is always fun! The rest of Universal just seems outdated and not as interesting due to the themes.
Over all good. When went in early only a couple rides and few things open food karts shut down little kiosk shut down opened later in day though. Food lines to long. Not well thought out , Lines way to long and wait time for food. This is a 1st impression review. Went 3 days straight before making review.
Tony from Maine at the ticket booth was beyond helpful and such a kind person, it was a pleasure speaking with him! And Jason and heather that were working at the wateringhole in the Jurassic section were phoenomonal and such a joy to converse with!!!

I visited almost every inch of the park in the short time I had there. The park had places specifically for children, many different rides for everyone, and shops. The park employees seemed to always be smiling, were willing to help at any time, and were always friendly to park-goers. Each portion of the park had its own aspect of magic and excitement. Going to this park was one of the best experiences I have ever had. I plan to go again any chance I get.
What a place! So much to see! I had the fast passes and that helped but two parks in one day is nearly impossible! I'm a bigger guy and couldnt ride the Harry Potter rides which was disappointing but still had a great time on a bunch of the others! Transformers ride is amazing!!!
A huge tourist attraction. Most of the rides are virtual rides. Still fun and exciting! The prices are crazy here; for food, drinks, and / or Knick - knacks. This was my first time coming here, most of the lines for the rides aren t horrible. The Harry Potter ride broke down once while we were in line, then when we went back to see if it was fixed, it was 110 minute wait. So sadly we didn t get a chance to ride that one. But the other rides were all less than 40 minute waits. We also came during Mardi Gras so there were a lot of people dressed up and dancing and walking around on stilts. It was all very entertaining and there is so much to look at. I m biased but the Harry Potter world part was by far my favorite. There was so much going on . It s upsetting for how much you spend on a ticket and the bathrooms are so messy. You would expect the cleanest standard be upheld.

I had so much fun at universal studios.we had gone down to Florida for my uncle s birthday and we ended up going here too. We left the hotel at 4:30 because we were a few hours away. It didn t bother me though. We were going to universal! My favorite ride was probably the transformers ride!
Lots of walking. We weren't given a map at the entrance and that's the only place you can get one. The app is worthless and there are not even signs in the park giving directions.
I love going to universal. I always have a fun time and the workers are friendly. If you decide to go during this covid era, I suggest going on a weekday NOT a weekend. I did the mistake of going on a Saturday; the park was extremely crowded and the people didn't follow the CDC guidelines. I had people literally behind my back, not 6ft apart, without their masks on and no worker in sight to regulate. Also, they have you do a reservation for some of the lines to minimize the crowd but when you go is still crowded with no worker regulating. Anyways, besides that when I went on a Monday I had none of those issues and was able to enjoy my time there.
Universal was a blast. Make sure to get a map, it's a huge place. Very family friendly and they offer ECV chair rentals for guests who are elderly or who can't walk the parks.
Would like to see a little more conformance to mask policy.
Great park I'd recommend getting the unlimited flash pass to get on the rides quick and skip the lines. The food is a little expensive but, it's expected for any theme park. I'd recommend getting a souvenir cup for $15 that can be refilled all day for free and if you want to use it the following day its $9 to refill all day.
Following all the CDC guidelines at Universal, I felt comfortable walking, shopping, riding and eating.

My wife and I went down for a business event for 4 days. All I can say is Universal Studios and Resorts have it all. I would definitely recommend coming down with the Family we are coming down again in June. Best food and entertainment at Citiwalk. The park was also fantastic and plan on coming down every year to stay at the resorts.
This is a great park, the Harry Potter world section is amazing and the new Hagrid's motorbike ride is excellent. We bought the fastpass since we only had one day there and we finished everything we wanted to do in both parks by 5pm. They have free small lockers outside most rides that you have to leave bags in, so pack lightly. The larger lockers are paid.
What can I say...this place is insane! Fortunately I went with work, so everything was paid for. It was incredibly expensive though so if I had to pay myself I would knock it down to 4 stars because it was so crazy expensive. Everything is exactly what you expect for an American Disney resort - everything was huge, looked like it cost a fortune, super friendly staff and amazing varieties of foods and drinks. Not a hug fan of American toilets as I feel there is zero privacy, but everything else was so good it can be forgiven.
A brilliant two day park, so much to fit in and ride and they have some of the best 4d rides out there. Transformers and Minion Mayhem are two that stand out. Lots of places to eat and drink and the staff are all super friendly, if busy would recommend fast pass for extra cost as queues are crazy in June when we stayed.
Don t waste your money. It s cool that they are open during the pandemic, but their safety precautions are a joke. The park was SO crowded. The lines have nice little 6ft markers, but the park was so crowded that it was impossible to social distance anywhere but the ride lines (which also means there is no where you can take you mask off and catch your breath, which in Florida in 90degree whether is really important). The ride lines are all 1 1/2 - 2 hours and they are forcing people to use this floppy slimy hand sanitizer before boarding and NOTHING on the rides is getting wiped down or sanitized!!!! We ve been here for 2 1/2 hours and been able to go on one ride. Save your money for when the restrictions are lifted and you can actually enjoy the park.
Always an amazing experience, fun for all ages and some of the best rides.. this place has helped me get over my fear of roller coasters and are the best at the holiday times with no black out dates for pass holders.. They always have the grinch and this year even a christmas tree hunt that was fun for the whole family!
This place is AMAZING!!!! It has something for all ages and is just magical... We went for my daughters 3rd b'day, going back for my sons 15th, can't wait!!!!! It's a must to go!
Went to experience Harry Potter world and it was amazing! I wish there would have been more rides that I could do since I have a internal cardiac device:( the train was fun and the lines were not too bad and I did not have a fast pass because I was not planning on doing thrill rides.

Amazing experience. Love this place for its details. They really make you live in the moment. Harry Potter experience is must and their rides are the best in the park. Also lot of pop up shows in both the parks. One of my favorite is the Horror make up show. Its entertaining and humorous and is must see.
Terrible experience. Spent 3 days at 2 parks but basically only got to ride half the rides due to the multiple closures and shutdowns due to mechanical failures or weather. Basically spent 8hrs per day each park with about half the time waiting until they said it was closed or temporarily shutdown for the next 30 minutes or more.
Went on a Monday, no big crowds. Walked on to Hagrids and Transformers. Team members doing a great job with new protocols!
Micheal the manager at the Leakey cauldron was amazing hitting up tables and talking to every and being safe made us feel at home and in the Harry potty world!! Loved it and hope he gets a good pat on the back

Went during Covid, very short lines. Some rides were closed. Masks were very much enforced, even outdoors. Not much for my 2 year old to do, but we found the kids area just before close.
Microsoft rented Universal Studios for a private event at the end of Ignite 2019 and it was amazing! I can't wait to bring my family down here for a vacation.

The customer service was unacceptable. We were treated with a lot of aggression and hostility. The focus was less on fun/happiness and more about masks and sanitizing your hands. It ruined the park experience. It was only open until 5. SOCIAL DISTANCING AND COMPLIANCE rules made it impossible to get through the park and enjoy all the rides. There simply wasn't enough time to get through both parks in that amount of time. The price for that kind of treatment and early closing time is ROBBERY. WE WILL NEVER GO AGAIN. WE will also tell everyone we know to never go. Sad, this was our FAVORITE place to go for the last 27 years. Not anymore.
Amazing theme park! You have to consider purchasing the unlimited fast passes ticket to skip the very long queue. We had the universal dining plan which includes two quick service meals and two snacks. Love the minions ;)
Amazing place, so much to see and do. Have been on loads of rides, all of which have been amazing. Had lunch at the Leaky Cauldron in Harry Potter world..... lovely food, highly recommend a visit.
Diagon Alley is my main reason for going, but I have to say that those in charge are always trying to keep the park up to date w/new attractions.
This was a really fun park to visit for the day. You'll spend a day in each park so 3 days max in my opinion. The express pass is worth the money if you have it to spend and know it will be a busy day. It appeared they could be shared as well so keep that in mind. They had gluten free buns and fries and a drink option for unlimited refills all day which I'd recommend.
The attractions are hit and miss. Most of the back of the park is really dated so I hope Disney moves some more things over with their purchase.
Awesome experience. Does time in the park. Even with the covid-19 situation, everything is organized. On every ride, they have hand sanitizer and they clean every ride after everyone get off them. I will be back. The only thing is that the park need to have in consideration our military personnel. They do not have an insentive like discounts, or something like that. I am a soldier, veteran, spent time out of this country to ensure our freedom and way of life for this country. There are some of us that are not the same as soon as we come back from outside United States. It will be more enjoyable if we get something in return when we spend time with our families. But beside that, it was an amazing experience.
Wow even with covid we only got 5 rides in. They say it was being run at 1/2 capacity. In fairness we did cherry pick our wants a bit. And we also spent some time in the shops. We will be going back.
I took my wife here for her first time earlier this year and we rode the new Hagrid coaster and it is the best roller coast I've ever been on. City walk is amazing at night and there is a million things to do here. Once my Busch gardens annual pass runs out I will be getting a pass here instead.
Ridiculous. Bought tickets...made to not only show them to get in, but had to have if and finger print like some sort of criminal. Absolutely invasive! Then come in to see most rides are preempted with health warnings that prohibit one from our family from participating. Wasted my money.
We had an awesome time , prepare your self for the walking but once your on the rides and having a great time you forget about the walking , lots of place to eat ,bathrooms , to sit down, one ride that I truly recommend is the mummy ride it was awesome
I like this park so much more than Disney, here you can have for example the frozen butter beer , and we loved it!
I would recommend to visit the Harry Potter part with the earlier pass you can get in some of the hotels. It s worthy and you can enjoy one hour more inside the park.
What a great day out.. at the end of it, you will be tired, a little sore... but you will have a huge smile on your face! The Harry Potter section is amazing and the Hulk will scare the lunch out of you!!

One of the best experiences of my life! There are a lot of rides for all ages, full of shows and stores to have a great time among family and friends. Every area of the park has restrooms and stores. In Universal Studios the fun never stops!
Definitely get the 2 or 3 park pass based on your needs. I also recommend getting the express pass if you rather be on rides instead of waiting in the line. Many food options. If you like seafood and want to get away from the crowds, Lombards is highly recommended. Great food and good prices. Sit in the back outside overlooking the water. Also recommend the Freestyle cup. Hydrate all day with free refills. My wife and I just share one. Basically. $17 for Coke products all day. Machines are plentiful and you can also refill at many Kiosks. They have a popcorn version, we did not use, but with kids I could see it being useful. Also you can bring in backpacks and water bottles etc. The Minions ride was my favorite.
Absolutely amazing here at Universal Studios. This place has so much to look at and offer. Bring your best walking shoes and your energy because the park will get the best of you if your not ready. Also make sure your pocket is full of money. Food and extra memorbiles is not cheap!
Universal Studio's is great, no denying that. Great rides, very nice merchandise all over the place. I am just giving it 4 stars because the ticket price has still gone up while the rides' tech seems to be lagging behind a little bit. Some innovation might be in order. Still, it's a great place to visit. Just keep in mind it's all very pricey.
Went on June 14, 2020. They did a good job getting people through the lines and keeping social distancing rules in place. (Unlike sea world) Also politely reminded people to keep distance, wash hands often and keep masks on. They had everyone use hand sanitizer before each ride. 4 stars for being overpriced on parking and just bad overpriced food. The In-4 hwy and the 417 remain dangerous roads for anyone that doesn t live here. No police patrol. My family have had near miss incidents every time we travel to universal.
I've been to Universal 3 times to date and it's been fun every time. I love Diagon Alley and Kings cross station. It's truly a great place for any Harry Potter fan.
What can you say about Universal. Amazing rides, although I have always been more of a fan of the shows and simulation rides Universal has something for everyone, both parks do really give you a great day weather your looking for an adrenaline rush on Hulk or looking to cool of on one of the water rides and then you have the Harry Potter areas the attention to detail is mind blowing.
Loved it. Gonna move to Florida I think, I need these places in my life more often.
Our family had a fun day at both parks! The reason for the 4 star review instead of 5 stars is because our last attraction of the day had technical difficulties which we completely understand. But someone was on a hot mike and announced to the audience they were going to get dressed up and go somewhere fancy as f#@^ along with some derogatory words. We mentioned it to one of the employees on way out of the attraction but he said he didn't hear it.
Still the best after all this time! Great job to all the employees and staff for making my girlfriend, me and the kids feel super safe during COVID-19!

Worst family vacation ever. We asked several times if we could leave the park to go eat at a restaurant at City Walk, and they said, "sure, your ticket is valid for the whole day." So we left and ate at Bubba Gump (another disappointment) when we returned they closed the park down because of capacity. Our tickets were already scanned!!! They ripped us off!! I will never drive 500 miles to Universal Studios again. I hope the entire place burns to the ground.
Prices on food, drinks and souvenirs were outrageous. However, you are allowed to bring some food in. If you're on a budget, take advantage of bringing in some snacks and drinks.
Being Harry Potter fans we ate lunch in both Diagon Alley and Hogwarts during our vacation. We did the family meal which saved us some money. The food was fabulous in both The Leaky Cauldron and Three Broomsticks.
Absolutely fantastic if your an adult totally brings u back to childhood and if your a child it's fun as well one thing do not try to overdue it this park cannot be seen all in one day it's hugs and you don't want to miss anything enjoy
