Universal Orlando Review

Started at the Royal Pacific it was amazing. The Club Level is highly recommended. Free breakfast, free snacks mid-day, free dinner, free alcohol, free drinks throughout the day and free dessert. They also give the Express Pass. Universal itself is amazing fun. Great people happy to be there or at least they pretend well. Mel's Diner was the only place we felt the employees were unhappy and that was just the servers. Express Pass in the park is amazing not as good as single line rider but great for a group we would get 7 rides done in 5 hours easy that includes lunch and shopping. NBC Grill Brew had some plastic in the kids meatloaf the took it off the bill and comp'ed the rest 35%. I'm sure they would have given my child something else for free food wise but they didn't want it. Hagrids Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure was down for a few days but opened up and was fun. The Mardi Gras parade was lots of fun as well.

Favourite theme park in Florida! The rides are outstanding and the child swap service is much appreciated. Also happy to see so many plant based food options!

This was one of the best experiences of my life. Great place to take the kids for all day and night family fun. Rock the universe was amazing and will definitely be back. I recommend to anyone looking for a great family trip to take the kids.

Had great time at the resort it has so many rides and maintained so well. The roller coaster ride was the ultimate one .

It s a very great place to enjoy and get fun with your family or friends

As one would expect, it crazy busy all the time. If you want to actually ride more than one ride be there as soon as they open. At about 12, give or take, lines get really long. Expect to wait in line for hours. I do feel like some of the rides are dated. For example E.T. honestly, it really isn't even worth the wait. It even smells old inside the ride. I know it's a classic and I agree but it's time to reinvent the ride or replace. Same goes for the shrek ride. Get the meal plan as well. It pays for itself on your very first visit. Also, get the app for your visit. It really helps when getting through the parks and knowing the wait times.

This place is amazing! You have to get here early and if you get a general admissions ticket, it's only good for 1 park, and there's a couple of parks here with thier own entrances. So choose wisely or buy a multi-park pass!

Wasn't the most ideal day. Positive speaking the crowds were sparse.and the weather not too bad. Unfortunately in IO Hagrids and Hogwarts both were down. But still was a good time in UO.

Favorite place on Clean, affordable, exciting and the best rides!!

Ride lines move a lot slower than they used to, commonly over a hour for anything new, so if the park is open 9 hours, realistically that is 8 rides max with fast walking between rides and a brief lunch. But getting to the park 1/2 hour before open didn't get us in the park until 20 minutes after it opened, and any decent lunch will take at least an hour.

Did not enjoy universal studios due to the fact that the team members make you feel horrible when ur bIg and can't fit in the shoulder harness. I felt horrible all day, couldn't enjoy my time with my kids and it was all of our first trip.

Rides are great, employees are great, food is great, everything is just pretty great

Universal is the best ! If you can only visit one park while in Florida this is that park. Fun for all ages. Plenty of places to rest and cool off.

I have a good time every time I go to Universal! There's always so much to do in so much to look at! Can't wait to go back!

Didn't eat hour and half wait. Will try to go another time .

Way over capacity. Hagrid and gringotts closed. Open attractions with over 2 hour wait. Not worth it at this moment in time. Disney is a WAY better Orlando experience.

We are a universal family and love everything universal! Holidays are crazy in the park but we love it! The Macy's parade is AMAZING!

Always an awesome time at universal, but the lines can truly be what makes or breaks your visit. Feels like Hagrid's Motorbike always stops for maintenance, which is odd considering it is brand new. They should really begin using wrist bands to save your place in line, such as volcano bay! But nonetheless, it is always such a fun time here.

Resort was nice ,clean . Very courteous and most are knowledgeable at checkin reservation desk. Staffing was very friendly
Bars at poolside food service area is good.

Fun but way too many people. Think they need to limit numbers in the park per day. 3 hour wait for a ride is crazy

Love Universal. We visit as often as we can. Can't wait to take the grandkids back!

Spacious and luxurious resort; good restaurants and a pool with a water slide

Not as immersive or as well-themed as Disney but the rides are so much more fun and thrilling.

First time with 6 and 7 year old. Literally every employee demonstrated a very high attention to safety and cleanliness. Loved every attraction! The 'no waiting' and separation practices made it an exceptional experience! Mel's Diner had substantial service issues. 45 min and $80 for 4 hamburgers.

Lost a hat in a locker. Went to lost and found the next day and there it was. Nice!

Love all the measures they have put in place during COVID

Beautiful room, helpful and pleasant staff, 2 large pools, one lazy river, hot tub, antique cars to view

My wife and I, who are seniors, just love Universal Studios and have been visiting the Orlando park since it s opening.

A observation based on our latest visit to Islands of Adventure park indicates, to us, that some rides are dated or a new skin is put on old rides to make them seem new .ie. The Simpson s ride, fast and furious to name two.

We are excited to see a new park in the planning and will be looking forward to it s opening

Longest line was one hour wait.. shortest was 15 min. Lots to do.! Lots of food! It was a Saturday during fall.. so kinda like the "off" season. Had fun. Will go again!

Fun times during the pandemic. We were so thankful to have the opportunity!

This was an awesome theme park. I also love the fact that they figured out a way to keep you from standing in lines for hours.

Had a lot of fun things to do here. The only thing is the tourists are very gross at times. like coughing and sneezing all over the place or not washing their hands. So try to santize what you can and wash your hands often.

Universal has surpassed Disney as the top attraction to visit in Orlando. Harry Potter World is the best. You feel like you are in the movie. It is amazing. The hot Butter beer is so good. The lines were quick to get through. We had a great time time.

Technology wonder is amazing all the things that can be done in a small place. Bathrooms everywhere that is a major plus. Food price is out of control.

The park was great but I think they should not allow smoking in the park.

Lines were really short except on the weekend, very clean, actually enforcing mask wearing and social distancing, but in a very organized manner. All guests are required to use hand sanitizer before getting on every ride. Single rider lines not open, told single riders not allowed on Hagrid's motorbike ride which was unfortunate because our daughter isn't tall enough to ride this meant neither my husband nor I could go on the ride.

Not very handicapped friendly. Employees need training on treatment of handicapped individuals. Making people walk and wait on lines when they could wait in their wheelchair for the remaining members of their party to go through the line was not offered as an alternative.

What an amazing place! I really am amazed at how friendly the staff is. They went above and beyond by every means they could. The park is clean and the food is priced ok. Definitely wish souvenirs were more moderately priced.

One of my top favorite theme parks of all time! In love with all of the Harry Potter world :)

Amazing park!!! So much fun for my first time being there!!!

My mom and I visited Universal CityWalk. This is one of the most beautiful, mesmerizing places I've ever been to.

Harry Potter world was amazing. Get there early to get a wand. It's worth staying at one of Universal's on-site hotels for early admission especially if you're a Harry Potter fan. I recommend getting an Express Pass, well worth the extra money. Food and souvenirs are over-priced but that's expected. Plenty of thrill rides for our teenage boys.

Had an annual pas and had 6 months before i renewed. Im regretting it. All the changes are for the worst. Havent seen one change thats positive.

If you like amusement parks and having everything in close proximity then this is the place for you. Other parks to not be named are very spread out which is great for their growth but make going from park to park very cumbersome. At Universal Orlando, you can easily switch parks, go out of the park to get some decent food and take a break or go back to your hotel for an hour or so to rest. Also having everything so close makes allowing older children (teens) to come and go as they like without worrying that it would take hours to get to them if they needed you. I can't wait to go back.

I loved it! It was so fun! The rides were amazing and the new rides were totally worth the wait line. The Harry Potter land is surreal, every detail is so Beautiful! I think that everyone should visit it at least once.

I love all the themed areas and it looks amazing. Wish there were more thrill rides instead of all the 3D/4D rides

Always love coming down to city walk with the wife to just enjoy a night out, great food, great drinks and a pretty great atmosphere!

We had a blast been planning this trip for couple of years, sons been You Tubing and researching had his whole tour planned out and he was like a little tour guide. Would've went sooner and more often if wasn't so pricey for families already traveling across the country. We will be going back all the staff we dealt with were very friendly and helpful and what they didnt know they sent to where we could get help. A couple of them we asked that didnt know actually said hold up, ran for the information and came back. (Which was over and beyond)

We chose Universal for our honeymoon. Best ride by far was Harry Potter and the Fobidden Journey at Islands of Adventure. I definitely recommend getting the Express pass the lines can be up to 2 hours long at certain times. All the rides are super fun. So much to see and do. Very family friendly.

Over crowed basically a giant $200 per head gift shop with the occasional ride. When you find said ride it is 40min wait that really is 1hr 15. Spent all day got on 5 ride s including 4 "simulator s" but dont worry by a fast pass for 189 its a steal dont forget to get harassed by one of theyre many business partners trying to sell you everything under the sun. Save your money and find a SIX FLAGS

Really nice clean friendly Resort would stay here again. It also had an awesome gym to workout.

Great Fun time. Came in one night after 6pm and in 4 hours rode 7 attractions. Came in the next morning and in 7 hours we managed 4 rides. Too many people visit early go later and enjoy.

We always have so much fun when we go to Universal and island of adventures orlando! I would highly suggest not going on Saturday or Friday because it is brutal trying to get on the good rides. The wait times were 100 to 120 mins and then after 4pm if you don't have a place reserved in the virtual line for a ride through the Universal app you are unable to get on most rides.

Fun place,but too expensive. Paying for parking is ridiculous. After paying so much for a Halloween horror pass you have to pay $26 a night to park. Everything went up .. getting crazy. Don't even go city walk for movies or dinner anymore.

Awesome rides! It's good for families, friends and everyone. Everywhere you go for food they have good portions and it tastes great. In the Wizarding World of Harry Potter the bar has a one of a kind beer that you can only get there. We are 6 times annual pass holders and we love coming over and over. Never gets old!

Great place for food, mini golf, and movies. Beautiful both day and night.

this is my first visit and I really loved my time at the wizarding world! haven't been to this Orlando location, but many times to Hollywood universal studio, so I have a good comparison in mind. my goal was to see everything but spend most of it at Harry Potter and universal didn't disappoint! it was all good including the meal at the Three Broomsticks. universal really went all out! if you're a fan of Harry Potter and the books, you need to go and check out universal studios!

Everything I had visited was very pleasant and I really enjoyed very much my time spend at Universal Orlando. I had been in Orlando many times before, but all the places I went to visit was awesome. Shrek, Men in black the tour was fabulous. The tour and war performed with the robots if transformers were beyond amazing, I went with my friends son and went back to my youth. good time and well spend money.

Too much fun! LOVE the Hulk roller coaster. I rode it at least 12 times. Get a room at one of their hotels. Even if you don t stay there it is cheaper than paying full price to get in. Sometimes they include the express pass for everyone in the room too!

Love Universal. With a Florida resident pass I try to go when it is less crowded. I saw the Maclemore concert and loved it. Don't miss Halloween Horror Nights. The best haunted house you will ever go to.

I always like going to the theme parks, especially Universal Studios Florida. Disney is great and all, but Universal is a bit more adult friendly. There's better coasters, more alcohol, and less walking. In addition, Universal Studios Florida is cheaper and they have Harry Potter! Halloween Horror Nights is way better than Disney's Halloween version as well. Definitely check out Universal Studios Florida for a great KoalaTea time! He he!

It a good place visit and to stay at the hotel get the park early and having fun on the events

Better than Magic Kingdom but not enough rides for ages 5-8. Plant city strawberry festival is a much better deal. Kids $4.00 adults $8.00. Wristbands for kids $30 & adults $40 this gives you unlimited rides & they have alot more rides & you don't have wait in lines for an hour. Disneyland is SOOOO OVERRATED. I would never recommend any of it

Great place for a walk specially at night shopping stores.

It was everything I expected and more! Having the hand sanitizer before you get on a ride and the requirement of a face mask made me feel safe. Can't wait to go back again!

Great theme park to visit! I love Disney but Universal is a bit more adult and far less crowded. I have been in July and February and both were great visits. If you can do 3 days I recommend it. We spent the morning at the pool and the evenings at the park. Rode all the rides multiple times!

Oh my gosh, this place is amazing. We used the military rates offered by MWR to purchase a 4day, 2 park ticket. This was money well spent. Even with rain on the second day, and insanity surrounding the new Harry Potter ride, the waiting lines were usually under 20 minutes. The staff members were informative and helpful. This park offers such a variety of food, even the pickiest eater will find something desirable. Download the app before you arrive for the maps, menus and current waiting times. I would highly recommend getting the freestyle cups, especially if you plan to visit the park more than once. This was a wonderful time.
