Routine maintenance check for my furnace done quickly, efficiently and on time. Tech was running a little late but they communicated this to me and made sure it still worked for me. Painless process.

Excellent service, Chad called ahead and was on time. He explained everything he was going to do. Great service and recommend United as the service is great.

Had a leak, they worked me in the same day. I was treated like a customer, not just another service call. Thank you!

Over the holiday weekend, a noticeable dripping sound was heard in an interior wall in my basement. I placed a call to the company and within an hour Matt was at my door. Matt was able to find the leaking pipe and unfortunately it was in a hard to reach spot. Matt was very apologetic that both the ceiling and the wall would have to be cut. I assured him that I trusted him to do what was necessary. The pipe was replaced in a short amount of time. Matt was very professional and explained what his process was going to be every step of the way. I would recommend this company for any work that you are needing done.

Completely transactional, only interested in immediate service fee. Can t get any reasonable response for coming back out for follow up. Call someone else!

Our furnace quit working so my son referred me to United Heating and Cooling. The tech that came to my house today(Chad B.) was very professional and efficient. After checking and checking he figured out what the problem was and had it running quickly. I really appreciate that he didn't give up and kept looking. He could have given up but didn't. Chad is an asset to the company and does excellent work. If we need help again, I would request him if possible.

We have used United for years and have always been pleased with their service. All service providers and customer service staff are efficient and easy to work with. I have recommended United to others and will continue to do so.

We have had problems from the start. Sure would like to know when they will be able to finish up. 66 degrees in basement, 74 degrees upstairs. Condensation problem that no one seems to know how to solve.

I have used United almost exclusively over the past 20 years and what I appreciate about them is their honesty. There have been times I was convinced I was going to need a new furnace but the technician gave furnace a good cleaning and it worked fine until I sold last house. Additionally, any time they have to come back out for the same issue, they never charge me an additional fee except and unless they end up having to put new part on the furnace (or hot water heater as happened recently). As with all businesses, is it possible they may get a bad apple every once in awhile who has come from a company who isn't so scrupulous, yes - in fact I think I got one of those guys about 12 years ago, but as with others providing their comments, I got a second opinion and then notified United of my findings and I am pretty sure that person was either let go or schooled on United's way of doing business guaranteeing it didn't happen again.

As a realtor I have always been happy with the service provided by United both for my customers & myself!

We have been United for over 20 years. Recently we needed their service to repair a gas pipeline from our fireplace. Our service rep was Blaine C. He was courteous, knowledgeable, and professional. He explained in detail the work he needed to do to correct the problem. We were very pleased with the results.

Anton came out for spring maintenance. I asked him to look at an item on an inspection report. He reviewed and checked out the concern and wrote an explanation on the ticket. I am very appreciative that Anton took the time to do more than just the maintenance piece, which saved me an extra trip to resolve the issue. Thanks, Anton.

We had a great experience with United! The AC was up and running in no time. Excellent service.

I hate writing a bad review but don't understand why so many trips. United Heating and Cooling is the company that installed our HVAC in a new build house. We had them come out last year to look at the A/C unit as it was not cooling sufficiently. They checked it out and said we were low on refrigerant and so added the coolant to our unit. The same thing happened again this year. My husband asked the tech what the cause of this could be and he said they would need to send another person out to look at it. The first visit was $296.00 which included the refrigerant and the 2nd visit cost us $279.00 to diagnose the problem. This does not include what we paid last year. We will now have to have them come out to fix the problem which, in my opinion, should have been diagnosed in the first place. Our A/C unit is a little over 4 years old and has a leak in the coil. I understand this is a manufacturers problem but am disappointed that it has taken 3 trips to figure it out. We will now have to have someone come out for a 4th time to fix it, hopefully.

Update:
Just letting everyone know that United Heating and Cooling did come out and replace our coil a couple of weeks ago. I must say that they have been very professional throughout the whole process. Customer service is key and they went above and beyond!

I have been with United Heating, Cooling & Plumbing for years. I have maintained my prepaid service and highly recommend it. They call with reminders, and always arrive on time with a smile. They have worked on and installed our furnace and central air. They have fixed plumbing issues at a fair price.

I would have given United Heating 5 stars but there time window is just too wide. Between 12:00-6:00, and he got to the house around 6:00.
Once the technician got there he was great. He remembered our house from his previous visit. He informed me of everything he did, and why.gave a lot of helpful tips for maintaining the life of the furnace. He put on his shoe covers before coming in and he was just so kind and professional at the same time.
Other then the time issue, the service was great.

We have been happy with United Heating and Cooling for the 26 years we have been in our home. We started using their Plumbing division and have been very disappointed, as they were out 3 times to fix drain problems in our master bath, and to replace stoppers. On the third time Pat came out, and fixed our sink right away. I was very happy with his service, and will continue to use United Plumbing as long as they send Patrick.

had plumbing and HVAC service. Plumbing called ahead 2 and 2 techs came out early. Both service techs were very friendly, but rushed the appointment. One toilet tended to run longer than it should after flushing and they did not identify that. I had to ask them about it. They left without turning back on the hot water heater. I had to call and let office know. They indicated that HVAC would be able to check and reset. I was told I would be next appointment for them. Three hours later they arrived. HVAC tech was excellent. Took time to explain my system to me providing info that I was not away of. He fixed hot water heater.

I needed to have my furnace replaced. I decided to get a few different bids on the work that I wanted to have done. After my first visit with a company I realized just how much work needed to be done. The pitch of my hot water heater was off and it wasn t up to code. The AC unit wasn t up to code, and my furnace wasn t up to code, and WAY past its prime... I knew that I couldn t have just anyone replace my equipment.

I had called around and got a couple different bids but I just couldn t reconcile myself to the cost of them, and the amount of work. I just happened to see a United Heating & Cooling van on my lunch break and decided I needed to give them a call. I meet with John S. on a Monday, and I really liked everything that he was telling me. I scheduled appointments with an installer the next day, and on Thursday they pitched my hot water heater correctly and got that up to code, installed a new furnace up to code, and a new ac unit up to code.

I paid a lot of money (well, to me anyway) and it was worth EVERY penny. Highly recommended!!

We've been using United Heating and Cooling for over 10 years and appreciate their thoroughness and professionalism. They do a great job and their technicians are professional and courteous.

United recently merged with Harris H/C here in Lawrence, Ks and sent one of their technicians for a biannual checkup that was contracted with Harris. He removed the fan from our furnace and took pictures of "cracks" in our furnace heat exchanger with his cellphone that I couldn't see myself. He red-tagged our furnace and arranged for Harris to come out in 2 hours to give us a bid for a new furnace. I got a 2nd evaluation that afternoon who checked the heat exchanger in the same way, removed the burners and checked it from the top, did a water test, and fired it up for 15 min in Sept heat to check the flame and do a CO meter test. NO LEAKS, good as new--the old cracked heat exchanger scam. So, I spent se hundred bucks to save 4000 bucks for a new furnace. I'm not saying they're crooks, but maybe they are. See the owners response below--after 4 weeks, no refund forthcoming after talking to the accounts manager. It's obvious the SCAM starts with the management and not just the technician. Any questions about the cracked heat exchanger problem should be at least researched on YouTube--believe me, they are not concerned about your safety, only your$.

They did a great job! They had the furnace we wanted and installed it the next day. Their price was great too! We were quoted for an inferior unit by another company and that price was $1,200 more then United! The installers were funny and very great to work with. I will be calling them for future needs.

Not that I truly know how the service is but from having an encounter with a gentleman that works for them, I would definitely call this company if I had an issue. I did not catch the guys name that I spoke with at QT this morning but this gentleman is caring and willing to help anyone.

They broke the CPVC pipe under the concrete when they cleaned out my sewer line. I had to pay to get the concrete torn up and the pipe replaced. I paid "cost" for THEIR mistake which should have cost me $0. Not only did they break this pipe but they insinuated that I somewhere caused it, which I DID NOT. Do business with this company at your own risk.

I went to bed with my house cold. The next morning I called United and you said you could come that afternoon. Ypu called at 10:30am to fix my furnace. The technician was not only very polite but the he was in his explanation and fix the problem very quickly.

I am a business owner myself and usually what I hear is when someone does something wrong. I like to let a business know when someone does something right. Donald was at my home fixing a heating problem. He was quick, fixed the problem and left. The problem is solved and I now have heat. The job was done well at a fair price and he didn't try to sell me something that I don't need. United, you are a terrific company with employees that you should be very proud of.

5 year old home 7 visits from United, each time providing outstanding customer service however forced to work with inferior parts. 5 year old home now on my third blower motor and hamster wheel. dual zone continues to be a problem... received a call from Mgr, Joey Mannino.
WOW! over the top customer service, stayed on the phone allowing me to vent, assuring me that he will get to the bottom of my issues. hats off to United keep up the great work.
