It's been 3 months since my car accident.. the other person was at fault and have the same insurance as well.. I've tried calling the adjuster but I always get the voice mail and never recieved a phone call back until a month ago saying they have to do a investigation.. now I'm going to call higher and getting a lawyer for a lawsuit.

The worst company ever !!! RUN !! Freeway insurance gives them business without you knowing your policy is going to be with United both are some of the worst companies ever! Just read their reviews. I was defrauded 360 dollars they don't do refunds they blame other companies for their mishaps that is why you should run from this company, you are lucky if you get someone on the line the managers, employees are all out to take your money without giving you service. It is a horrendous experience with this people. RUN !!! do not give them your money!!! You have been warned.

If you are looking for a car insurance, look elsewhere. I have been trying to get in contact with my adjuster CRYSTAL REYES for what is going to be almost 3 weeks and have not received a call back. I call and leave a voicemail EVERY WEEK DAY and have not gotten a response. All I want is status update. Since i was left with no choice, I spoke to a regular customer service rep and all he could tell me was that there is a discrepancy in my policy and they are investigating it. But he could not give me anymore details because that was all that was in the notes. If i want to know more, i have to speak to my adjuster, CRYSTAL REYES, who once again DOES NOT CALL ME BACK AFTER LEAVING COUNTLESS VOICEMAILS. It seems to me that they are just delaying fixing my car. I do NOT RECOMMEND using this insurance. They call you when ever you need to pay but are never around when you need them. THEY ARE SCAMMERS. Run away from them and look into Progressive, All state, Geico.. before you have a nightmare of an experience.

Their customer service is terrible, always a long waiting queue and they can only fax their declaration pages. This company is decades behind. Their underwriters can only verify four policies at a time and cannot provide an explanation why there is a limit. I am advising all of my clients to avoid at all costs.

Update 7/16/2020: I emailed the address provided below by customer service and they have not replied in over eight months. Will be directing auto insurance elsewhere.

How many negative stars can you give a company? They use sub par assessors like Cyclops Collision to cut corners and not restore your vehicle to proper code or condition. My car was in the shop over 45 days because their trying to save $1.
my file was passed to 4 employees one no longer with the company? perhaps they decided to work for a company that let them sleep at night. Please do not let a dealer assign them as your insured, get your own reputable insurance before you drive off the lot. Their insured backed into my parked car... and it's been a nightmare for me and the repair company - as they try to push them to cut corners in restoring the car.

Worst service ever!!!

They never pick up their phone or call you back when you leave a message. They don t give you what your car is really worth! No rental provided! They re dishonest about the claim status! Always say something is still processing ! Still waiting for my check after almost two months now! I mean just RIDICULOUS!!!

One of their insured hit me in a hit and run in JANUARY and I still haven t received any update on my case. 2-3 weeks ago I spoke to my adjuster and he said I ll call you back, I promise. Well, I ve been waiting weeks now and I haven t received a single call. They told me that they can t do anything about the case because the insured said that she wasn t in the area the day of the crash but that they were going to continue to speak to her. I think it s total Bologna. It s been 5 months now and my car is still dented. The adjuster made it seem as if his client was innocent and I got hit by another car and tried to pin it on her. I have pictures of her car from the day of the accident, there s a police report stating what happened, the whole 9, and nothing has been done yet. I m over the point of getting upset with these people because they re just built to disappoint. It s annoying, it s like talking to walls. These people don t care, they just want the cash.

Very unprofessional, they take several minutes before answering a phone call, back and forward when you try to ask for help, and all that for NOTHING, since they're not able to help.
They will try to charge you the max possible plus hidden fees.
THE WORST, WORST, WORST, WORST, WORST company.
Mine will be only one more 1-star review so I don't think they will even care. :/

Absolutely the WORST. I'd give a zero star if I could. Their driver hits me while I'm at a stoplight and drove off! I called to place a claim, after I went to a appt. to take pics that THEY made they wanna come back with "well the pics were never recieved". Ashley my adjuster NEVER calls back, even after numerous calls and Voicemails I left. They dont respond with that text feature they give you. I'm honestly close to just getting a lawyer to get this over with. What tops the cake tho is the driver having the audacity to go and try and make a claim on MY insurance after he got the ticket for the hit and run! Its unbelievable!

I was rear-ended by a customer of this insurance company about 3 weeks ago. I filed a claim and was told it would take a day or two for their adjuster to call me about getting the bumper fixed. No one was hurt so this should be a simple process, right?

3 weeks gone by and I have NOT BEEN CONTACTED BY THIS INSURANCE COMPANY. I've left message after message after message for the adjuster. I've called and talked with other people in claims who tell me I have to talk with the adjuster. It is beyond ridiculous. So now I get to file the claim against my own insurance and pay the deductible for something that is completely not my fault. My insurance has been great and said they would try to collect against this terrible auto insurance company but I'm still out $500 for however long it takes to collect!

United Auto Insurance Company should be ashamed at how terrible their service is. The public at large does not trust insurance companies, and UAIC is shining example of why.

Absolutely the WORST insurance company to deal with. I was rearended by one of their customers and a month later I still don't have my car back, no car rental, AND medical bills not covered. They refused to put my car back to the way it was before it was wreaked and because I don't have an extended warranty on my car, they want the auto body shop to use junk parts on it. By the time they get done, my car won't ever be the same!!!

Had an accident with a stupid insured by them and the guy never get in touch with me or them, it took me three months to get anything done to my car, I m still waiting for the rental money to be reembolse after I send the invoice twice to them by fax, I rate this company lower than one star if possible, companies like this shouldn t be in the market, only stupids cheap ass drivers with no money can make business with them!!

I was hit by one of their insured 3 years ago. Their trick was to avoid paying the doctor settlement until the statue of limitations runs out. I have called a dozen times and not received a single call back. Each time I ask to be connected to the claims representative I left a message for last time, I've been told that that person is not longer with the company! I Now it's past 3 years and legally they don't have to pay.

These are the most unorganized, under trained, unprofessional, unqualified insurance people that I have ever delt with. This is day SIX (6) that I have been waiting on their examiner to view my vehicle and I am not even 30 minuets from the office. No one answers the phone, then they make you wait for ever if they do answer and then they have nothing to tell you except to wait. I lost my job, and paid so much money as the liability, and this isn t even my insurance. I would not recommend anyone to even get in the car with someone who has this insurance, they might make you wait to drive off. If I could I would give negative 5 stars !!

A policy holder of this company (UAIC) rear-ended my truck over 4 months ago. I had a police officer come and document the collision. There is zero question of who is liable since I was rear-ended.

I still haven't received payment from this company. I plan on reporting them to the Utah Insurance division today. If there are any other people that haven't received payment, you should report them to your state's insurance division. If they get enough complaints, the state will prevent them from writing new polices in your state.

Yaileen, the insurance agent who assisted me is an absolute delight! She was extremely thorough with every piece of information needed for me to know. She was sweet, patient, and clarified every question asked. Couldn't have asked for a better insurance agent to have attended me. She is truly excellent at what she does, including following up with me the very next day to make sure everything is good on my end. My experience was great! Happy to have been helped by Yaileen. Totally recommend asking to speak with her when calling in to be assisted with all your insurance needs. :)

If you had to choose between not having insurance or having United it makes no difference because it feels like you don t have any anyways! They are the absolute WORST adjusters NEVER answer their phones EVER I had an accident in October and have no idea where my car is, when I m getting my rental reimbursement literally no communication ever... I absolutely HATE my adjuster and this insurance please please just go get real insurance this may be cheap but trust me and the reviews it s not worth it

I think it's pretty terrible that UAIC isn't offering any kind of assistance during this pandemic, like absolutely nothing. The customer service rep told me that "I need to be careful." I'm not sure what that means but I'm pretty sure that isn't in their customer service training. I would not recommend this insurance company to anyone.

Absolutely the worst insurance company! they increased my insurance rate without notifying me. The day I set my policy with them, they asked me to provide them with a declarations page of my prior insurance, and so I contacted my old insurance and asked for them for exactly that. I then forwarded the information I received to United, this was done HOURS after they had asked for it. but when the first payment came around they charged me ONE HUNDRED dollars more than the rate I had signed off on. When I called to fight this they said the declarations page only listed the 2 months prior of having switched to insurance with them and that it needed to be the last 3 months, it was simply listed like that because I had just renewed my policy but I ve had insurance for years with the old company. I WAS NEVER INFORMED by anyone that it needed to be 3 months, what s worse is that once they received that information from me they NEVER bothered to called me to let me know, simply increased my rate without my consent and charged my card. Now I m fighting with them for their lack of communication and demanding a refund of those $100. the really rude representative only offered me a credit but wouldn t even tell me how much the credit is for, that I have to call back another day additionally she wouldn t guarantee how much my rate from now on would be. Are you kidding me???THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE. Disgusting place.

Worst insurance company ever! I was in a car accident about four months ago and I still am having problems with contacting my adjuster, the customer service reps are very rude and uneducated with no manners. It's a horrible insurance to have to pay well over $300 for full coverage, to then be told that they will not cover my damages because it is more than what the car is worth. I feel like I went through so much stress and anxiety going through this insurance, and I still am. To this day, my claim is still in review and is being processed. I do not recommend this insurance to anyone at all, you will experience a lot of rudeness, unreliability and liars. On top of that, you will be waiting a long period of time until you get answers. If I could, I would not rate this fraudulent company any stars.

I'm giving one stay because i have to, but if i can give them ZERO i would! I got into a car accident 3 weeks ago and i have had the WORST experience with it. I was not at fault, so the driver's insurance was this one! My adjuster was Electa Edwards. I would leave her voicemails and she would never return my phone calls. These people need to be trained on customer service because they have zero customer service. My mom then was able to speak to her supervisor Joshua Perez, and he was extremely rude. He yelled and spoke over her, which really aggravated me that he spoke to her that way. This insurance company should be closed!!

Good luck if you ever get into a car accident with these people.

Worst insurance I ever had their costumer service is trash it takes about an hour or more to ask something and when you ask something they either can t solve anything they don t know what the policy holds and or if we want to add something they said that doesn t exist when on paper you it says there. When I call everything I ask it has a different department and it takes 20 min every time they transfer me to somewhere else. On weekends it s worst.

Your calls and emails will be returned days later IF they feel like it. The agent will be against you and talk down to you as if you are a child. It's been nearly 3 MONTHS and my claim has still not been paid. THEY DO NOT PAY RETAIL VALUE IF YOUR CAR IS TOTALED. They come up with this BOGUS method as to what they think your car is worth. I compared my car value to NADA and Kelly Blue book and United will pay me nearly $2000. LESS!! THEY ARE A SCAM! Finally when my vehicle was scheduled for towing to finish my claim I personally handed the tow truck driver my keys. 2 WEEKS LATER THEY TELL ME THEY'RE DEDUCTING ANOTHER $150 FROM MY SETTLEMENT BECAUSE I DIDN'T TURN IN KEYS!!! THE 1ST THING THE TOW DRIVER ASKED FOR WAS MY KEYS WHEN THEY PICKED UP MY CAR!!! I have lost sleep and my sanity with this scam insurance company!

Horrible customer service, I would never deal with...

Horrible customer service, I would never deal with this company but unfortunately the drunk driver who totaled my car almost a month ago while it was parked had them for insurance.
It s totally impossible to get ahold of anyone on the phone, tried many times a day for 2 days, I had to drive to their office, once there security guy asked for my phone number and after I waited there for 25 minutes, a representative called me. So you have to actually go to their office not to be taken care of in person but to just get their attention and get on the phone with you which could be done one of the many times I tried calling from home.
I received a text with the claim number, adjuster name and her extension #, I replied with the pictures as instructed, 12 days later I haven t heard back from them tried calling multiple times a day for the last 4 days to extension, no answer, left many messages, no call back. I will have to go there again.

customer service is not existing at all, i was involve in car accident back in august 2017 is now October 2017 and a just get bounce //the so called adjuster Blanca OMG to say the least call and call leave messages and don't answer nor call back //is very aggravating try to make sense of someone that thinks is dealing with a child //finally got a check in th email that clearly say for deposit only , so i did to my wonderful experience the check was return for some reason that my bank can't tell me but is my fault now i also have added charges for check from this wonderful south Florida company ....insurance buyers stay away from this company , drivers i hope you guys never have to deal with this company

Wouldn't recommended ANYONE to insure with them, only thing good about this insurance is their prices. The assign adjuster is NEVER in their office, NEVER give you a call back when you leave a voicemail, half the time the voicemail is full so you're unable to leave one. It always seem like I'm getting the run around when I do get in contact with someone to get an update on my claim, currently in the process of disputing my claim, due to the fact I was unfairly denied liability claim and I was not at fault in the accident I that had. Anyone looking for insurance united auto insurance is NOT THE PLACE TO GO!! You will get screw over and left to repair your damages that someone else made, that united auto insurance supposedly to help insured. Unprofessional, lack of communication, the insurance as a whole company is a hot mess, I guess I get what I paid for.

How in the world do I get into a accident that was not my fault and be with out a car for 3 months ? I hope for this insurance's company closes down and stop playing with peoples life's like its a joke . 3months without a car my life's in a hole because some Miami driver total loss my car and has this pos insurance and now I have to wait so long to get the check stay away from this hell hole

Don get this insurance !!! if you have an accident car , all the body shops in Miami don't want to deal with them,and you don't have any one to fix your car.You car damaged will be at the dealer for a months! This insurers is an scam.

This is the worst insurance company ever they lost my Insurance information I send it to them and they cancelled it I didnt even know it.i had to pay another down payment now my insurance cost even more because of them I hate them for that.not good customer service at all.

Worst insurance company ever, they give you the hardest time to cancel. Collect your monthly payments and cover NOTHING, even with full coverage they find some loop hole why they cant pay don't even waste your time!

the worst insurance company in the world someone should do something about it can not continue to scam people and to top it off they give us a star or you can not post the opinion ... the press the court something to do is a great robbery and mockery for all ...... the worst company ever it needs to be super exposed to the public eye as the worst ever and never one to ever do business with them and close it ... by the way they have several locations and is all the same game no one ever calls and nothing gets done ... they need to get closed and deal with the law
