Lots to see. Go early to see crown jewels to avoid the long queues. Beefeaters were amazing and informative.

I really like this place. the medeival palace was something else.
Wow. The history here is amazing. Seeing the Crown Jewels was very cool, but no photos in there (understandable). My one complaint was not with the site but with a tour group. They stood in line taking photos and holding it up, then the whole group jumped the line. Try not to get behind a large group.
It is a nice and interesting place to visit when in London.
Great place to visit if you are sightseeing in London. However it is very very busy and people were queuing around the court yard to see the Crown Jewels, it was unfortunate that we did not get to see the jewels due to time restraints and the queues, and it is quite expensive and disappointing if you don t get to see the jewels. However that said we joined a tour held by the beefeaters, which was very informative and made interesting, they do a great job everyday.
Never went in side bit on the expensive side but looked amazing from the outside
Went to the Ceremony of the Keys, very interesting, thoroughly recommend going
Give your self plenty of time to see the wealth of interesting things to see and do. Amazing place
May be a bit overpriced but it s definitely worth it.
Great to learn more about the history of the city and what happened at that place. The crown jewels is a must in this place
Incredible place to visit. Disappointed that no raven has landed on me and there was huge que to see the Crown jewellery but still a 5 star attraction, especially that you get 2 for 1 tickets with your railway /train ticket
Lots of history here and definitely a great spot to check out while in London. Tour guides are an added bonus as they are extremely knowledgeable
Interesting and lots to see, very long queues to see Crown Jewels
A cool and historically interesting place. It's worth it to see the crown jewels alone.
If you want to spend the day walking the streets of London this is the way to do it.
Fantastic day out. It rained but added to the fun. Visit the crown jewels....and no not your husband's
Amazing.
Just amazing.
I recommend taking the Beefeater Tour. We had Spike who we had watched in the Channel 5 series about The Tower. We were chuffed and he didn't disappoint. Great humour and great knowledge. It's easy to forget that the Beefeaters are actually integral elements of the security of The Tower and are not tour guides. This was perfectly illustrated when Spike loudly admonished a visitor for sitting down on a tomb outside of the chapel. It is worth noting that the tomb also had a sign saying to show respect by not sitting on said tomb.
As a day out it is brilliant. I'm far from a royalist but was enchanted by the history of the castle which had been there in some form for over 1000 years.
Very good almost to much history to take in. Tour the beefeater was excellent.
Wonderful. For a historic site it has a bit of everything for all ages. I highly suggest getting there early and going straight for the crown jewels. I was able to take my time with virtually no line.
Went along to see the WW1 tribute which was very moving & enjoyable experience.
Full of history and a great day out for the family.
Fantastic historic building, and the free guided tours by the Beefeaters (the real thing, not actors in a uniform) is brilliant - humorous and informative.
Great place. Our tour guide was brilliant as he added some humour. Good value but closes too early. Best to get there early so as not to run out of time.
Best place for decapitation. Head and shoulders above the rest.
One of the best preserved castles in England. This place was epic, wall to wall history. The Yeoman (British Army tour guide) tour was excellent, full of comedy and entertaining for young and old alike. Of course no visit would be complete without seeing the Crown Jewels. The visit was great value for money.
Interesting and beautiful place. Royal jewelry and armory. Nice view to the river. You have to visit it
I loved the history and atmosphere and my kids were thrilled to see a real castle and see armor that was made for child kings.
A must see while in London! The history here is incredible, plenty to see and do. The crown jewels are on display here, so make sure to see those. Plenty of things for kids and adults alike, the suits of armor, the guards standing watch, cannons and long guns on display. Make sure to check out the ravens and their historical importance as well!
Absolutely Fantastic. Lots of history and plenty to see. Also offers great views of other London landmarks.
This place is a must visit, try to find a good guide that can explain the interesting facts about the place. We spent two hours understanding about the rich history and the expensive stuff which is kept in the palace.
An excellent historical place. Would need. Whole day to visit and explore the place.
AMAZING! If you visit only one historic site while in London, the tower of London should be it. So much history, so much medieval mayham, plus the Crown Jewels! Great view of Tower bridge. Much respect to the Yeoman Beef Eaters for their service and tours.
Amazing spot. Very touristy, but the kind of place that is worth it. There is incredible history here that is fascinating and gives London a perspective you don't always immediately appreciate. It's both beautiful and awe-inspiring inside, and it has great views of the Thames and the beautiful and iconic Tower Bridge. Pro tip: we went about 90 minutes before closing time. This meant that we technically didn't have time to see everything, but it also meant it was quieter and had no long lines to see anything like the Crown Jewels or the White Tower -- which usually have terribly long and slow lines to see the sights inside. I'd recommend going near close and seeing just the best stuff: White Tower, Crown Jewels, the Ravens, and the torture displays. It's well worth it so you should go. Amazing for kids.
Had a great day , so much to see . Crown jewels magnificent, are they real?!! We had a fab meal in the New Armories Cafe, Even had a menu for Gluten free meals, very impressed.
Fantastic value for money, great place for all ages.
Amazing tourist experience. I loved every minute of the museum and tour. This is a must see for everyone in the area. This was definitely my favorite castle or palace in England.
What a fab day out, kids absolutely loved it. Would thoroughly recommend it.
A true must-visit destination in London. Make sure you do one of the free tours with the Yeomen Warders (beefeaters). You can also see the impressive armory collection and the crown jewels. Make sure to spend the time to walk around the walls and enjoy the views over the Thames.
Wonderful history. Ravens were very vocal. Helpful guides really bring things to life.
What an amazing place.. and I met a beefeater.. great day out..
A favourite spot in London and must-see for any tourists. If you love history, and all things old, then this is the place for you. Free guided tours from Beefeaters, and do look online for special events they do. Allow at least 3 hours, More
I recommend the free tour/guide by the beefeaters, very funny and interesting. Shadie/shadie(?) Was our guide and he was very good. New tours start every 30 minutes
Famous Historical place. I've been suprised how big it is
Very busy spot. Guided tours regularly. Very interesting. Our guide Dave also know as a Beef Eater was very good. A lovely since of humour and interacts with his tour.
This is a great attraction to see with so much to see and do. The crown jewels are a great part and they are so great. The yeoman warden tour is great, it is very entertaining and full of great history. The yeoman warder was very entertaining and i really enjoyed. This is a great attraction for all. Well worth a visit.
Must vist destination and lovely experience to walk on the glass floor
The tower castle is separate from the tower bridge. The bridge in itself is nicely built and free to pass through.
Great day out. Loved the interaction from the ghosts who came back to inform us about life as prisoners at the Tower. They looked very alive but must have been ghosts as they were so well informed of the past. Took a photo as evidence...
A must see if you visit London. A place full of history.
Great place to visit, lots of friendly people, 5/5!
Don't loose the crown history. There are many spaces to rest what's important when you're with children
I went to the Tower of London during an 8 hour flight wait to check it out. The staff were very nice and knowledgeable. The exhibits were fascinating and well maintained.
I cannot wait to come home and be a SERVANT for the SUPREME COURT JUSTICE of LORD JUSTICE in ENGLAND, away from the United States in the Northern American Greater Northwest Settle, Washington 98104 the citizens are from all around the world threatening me for my win more the Triple Jeopardy which there isn't a fifth Amendment and no common law. I was kidnapped when I was kid from the U.S.A. Congress house of Seats White House in Washington District of Columbia,. And Washington State Legislation. Imprisoned unlawfully.
Wonderful place! Amazing architecture. Don't miss the Kohinoor and the crown
A must see for any tourist. The tour with a Beefeater is essential. They have so much information and are really funny. They must send all of these guys to comedy school. Our Beefeater tour was the Raven Master (follow him on Twitter lol) and it lasted about an hour. After that we were able to see the Crown Jewels and explore on our own. Give yourself lots of time, one hour for the tour and at least one hour for the Crown Jewels and exploring.
Great castle area and wonderful shouter guides. Worth to visit! Takes hole day.
A number one venue without doubt but beefeater tour could be improved.....facts on Welsh involvement could be more accurate than presented. Welsh were not simply conquered and one of the Henry's was Welsh. Also Wales had a form of democracy before the English came close. Beefeater public speaking could be improved by an emphasis on greater clarity and projection and controlling the speed of delivery.
Must visit historical and instagram worthy place in London.
Amazing place. A little crowded but worth the visit
Excellent place to spend the afternoon in the heart of London. Lots to see & nice activities for the little ones, but I have to say the Welcome was way below expectations, with the ticketing staff not willing to print an impromptu booking because "it's not our job".
Wonderful look at the rich and interesting history of England and its monarchs.
Had a really good trip.the tour round was very interesting. The beefeater tour guide was very good interesting and funny.was glad to get to see the ravens. Also enjoyed looking at all the armour old guns and other old weapons. Didn't get to see crown jewels que was too long .would definitely go agian.
very popular attraction for tourists! also have a small cafe near the tower, everyone can enjoy a cup of coffee while looking through the tower and aslo the tower bridge superb amazingg! rating 5/5 enjoy!
Full of history. Don't miss the yeoman guided tour, and then explore on your own. There are actors performing history across the place. Very good showing of the Crown Jewels.
Brilliantly preserved and presented. Take the subway, have plenty of time walk on the pier and try to walk across London Bridge from there
Excellent day out for the whole family. The armouries, in particular, were fascinating as well as the wall graffiti in the prison tower. Steeped in 1000 years of history, what's not to like?
A brilliant day out! Such beautiful historic surroundings...with a gruesome past. Very helpful and friendly staff. Yummy afternoon tea in the cafe, a little on the pricey side.
Great not to be swamped by crowds! Such stunning buildings.
Interesting and excellent organisation, shows and relaxed area.
Definitely go on the tour led by the Yeoman Warders. It's worth the price of admission alone. The grounds and buildings are immaculately preserved.
Haven't been since about 12yrs old and being an historical site looks much as I remembered. The wardens tour with The Raven Master Chris Skaife was brilliant. The day we were there was the day they did the 62 gun salute to Prince Louis Arthur Charles which all added to the day, which was a belated birthday treat
A visit to the Tower of London, the UK s most famous castle and jail (which has seen various regal prisoners!) is a must when you re in the capital. If you want something behind the scene, you could go on an exclusive night time ceremony of the keys tour!
The clunk of the locks as the guards turn the keys and your small group is locked in the Tower of London. Then you re reminded of the poor souls who were tortured and lost their lives here. Could those souls still be hanging around?
Super fun and informative. Highly recommend. Must see the jewels...talk to the Yeoman Warders if you can...very interesting!
Amazing experience inside with a lot to see! Doing the guided tour with the "Beefeater" is a must. But avoid going to the afternoon tour around 2. We didn't get to see everything as they closed relatively early and the tour took most of that time.
Well worth it though, new exhibits on the way as well. Lots to learn about and there is something for everyone really from jewels, to weapons and armour.
Great experience, just a bummer it closed as early as it did.
My children (9 and 12 years old) really enjoyed visiting the impressive collection of armors and the astounding crown jewels. Wonderful view on the Tower bridge from the battlements as well.
I ve been on every trip I ve ever taken to London. Always memorable! We arrived just after opening and had virtually no line ups. Around noon I would estimate the wait to see the Crown Jewels was easily 90+ minutes.
The Yeoman Tours are the highlight and if you are one one that it s quite busy be strategic about staying to the outside of the group for the first and third stops. This makes it easy to get up front for the second and fourth stops.
