Lots to see at the Tower of London. A few challenging stairs, but overall well worth the time. Save some time and pre purchase tickets. That turned out to be the longest queue.

Amazing. Best of the best. We bought the book and the audio guides. It took us all day and lots of steps and walking. The crown jewels were fantastic.
I was a bit disappointed if I'm honest. It has some beautiful buildings but was far more geared up for the tourist trade.
It is also a bit of a struggle to see things as people tend to just get in your way when you are trying to look at things. It's position right on the Thames is a bonus though.
Well worth a visit. Make sure you do the free guided tour with the resident beefeaters you get so much feom them.
This place is a blast to visit - the yeoman tour guides are knowledgeable and fun!
So great to see all this history, I recommend this when you visit London!
Yeoman Daniel was very knowledgeable and The Ravenmaster went out of his way to spend time with us. Loads to see and do well worth a visit.
One of the most historical sites to see in London. Well maintained looking from outside including the grounds although haven't visited inside.
Generally great location to visit even it is a bit more away from central London. Tube next to it - Tower hill. Also to see tower bridge, monument, army ship on Thames, great panorama view and walk by the river.
Excellent landmark to visit. I suggest taking the yeoman tour as they have great facts and stories. I would plan on seeing the crown jewels early as it gets packed just before lunch.
Not cheap- worth joining Historic Royal Palaces to enter other London sites. Jewels are amazing and much better housed than they used to be. Go to the Jewel House first to avoid long queues.
Great place to visit, even greater second time round as I had learned a lot about the history of The Tower. Thus made it a more meaningful experience.
Must visit in London. A magnificent sight to the eye and great exhibitions within.

It was very interesting. The Beefeaters tour should be a smaller group. I was in a large group and it was tough to hear the guide. I visited 11:30a on a Monday in August and it was very crowded. I would recommend going earlier. It was too hot to wait in the very long line to see the Crown Jewels.
Beautiful piece of London s history, in a time where London is losing its ancestry to high rise apartments and super skyscrapers, the Tower of London stands as a proud monument to Britain s past.
Beautiful place, very busy but worth it, one of the best places in london
A wonderful part of British history fantastic visit
If you like history you'll love the Tower of London. Its nearly 1000 years old. Its where King Henry the 8th had one of his wives executed. You can touch the actual castle stones. You can see the real crown jewels.
A fantastic piece of history. I recommend that you take the beef eaters tour that is completely free and incredibly memorable.
A must visit in London. Quick tip -- if doing a warders tour as they recommend when you first come in, wait to get your audio guides until after the tour! The place where you get the audio guides is inside a gate, and the audio guides have an alarm that goes off if you try to go back outside that gate to where the tour starts.
So much history, a testament to British heritage. There is a lot to see here so leave plenty of time (at least 4 hours). We managed to follow one of the Yeoman tour guides which are free once your inside the tower - very informative and interesting. Well worth the visit.
The tower of London was great. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The crown jewels were absolutely brilliant and stunning. I understand the need to simply experience them and not have constant photos being taken, but it is a little disheartening to be unable to capture the memory via more than my own eyes and brain. We were not present at the tower for long as we were crunched for time, but that was our own fault. Regardless, it's beautiful and definitely worthwhile as you can see the crown jewels - and there is nothing like seeing those jewels in person.
Fascinating place with hundreds of years of history. Leave yourself the entire day. Try to be there when they open and consider packing a lunch or eating something small and quick within the tower. This will save you time instead of leaving and coming back. They closed at 4:30pm when we went and we were still running around trying to see things at the last minute. They do not allow photography in some places like the Chapel and the crown jewels. Photography is allowed in most other areas. If possible, try to plan your trip on a good weather day. We lucked out and had a sunny morning in December, although it was still very cold. Finally, be sure to do the free guided tour with a Meet Eater!
Was rather pricey to get in, but was totally worth it!
Fantastic.. take one of the tours ..take all day to see it all
This Castle is so large, you'll have to dedicate a few hours to see it all. Go early so you don't have to wait to long to see the crown jewels. Lots of information about British Castle life back in the day.
Use the audio service for 5.00 each so that you can really get a feel for the fantastic history of this place.
Awesome. A must see. Fascinating historical location. Plan to spend several hours to be able to take it all in. Don't miss the 'royal mint'.
A must visit place for my husband and myself as we visited London. We had a great time soaking in the history after we bought our ticket that was sold at a separate site just outside of the tower. We arrived about 12 and it was already pretty busy. There is lots to see and do and many interesting things to learn. I wish we had gotten in line for the Crown Jewels early in the morning as the line was very long. The line was wrapped halfway around the tower. A great historical site that was very busy but quite a bit of fun
Nice place hangout, have an ice cream and relax after a busy sight seeing tour.
You can feel the history of the Tower from the moment you enter. The Warders are incredibly knowledgeable and get the facts over superbly. So much to see. However if you want to see the Crown Jewels allow plenty of time as there is quite a queue!
Amazing place filled with history. Highly reccomend you visit
A real insight into history, and great tour experience.
I though it's London bridge but it's tower bridge only , truly awesome and a check mark on my bucket list :)
It's incredible. So much of history in one building.
Wow place...every Indian must visit to see OUR own DIAMOND KOHINOOR...rest of the place is ok but for me the BEST was the diamond section..
Give yourself time to see everything - a whole day. It's really worth it.
And book tickets online to save queuing (and it's cheaper)
A great historical place, a must if you're visiting London.
Great history stories and buildings but poor interiors, except royal jewels
Just a great place to go. Very busy. But it was the school holidays. Fantastic staff. If you going to visit more than one palace buy the annual pass much cheaper. Restaurant is nice but top end of expensive. Great place learnt a lot grown jewels are stunning and you can see why that are priceless.
Quite impressive from The outside, perfect for photos of the tower Bridge and the "guarding lions"
Must visit. If you have but two days in London, plan a half-day here. Steep yourself in 1,000 years of history. Not free, not inexpensive, but obligatory. Captures historical, royal, and military England. Read about it first in guidebooks, then visit. By all mean, take a free Yeoman Warders' tour. Ask your Warder about his/her military service and what it's like to live at the Tower. If you can find time (3-day London visit ) to visit Hampton Court Palace, buy a joint admission ticket and do so. Most highly recommended.
We were lucky enough to get in early and watch the opening ceremony, the actual ceremony isn't that much but the 10 minutes ish that you get without other tourists is excellent, you can get some great photos with no-one in then or just the guards by themselves. The history behind the place is excellent if you can get a tour through to explain all the different buildings
I actually really liked it... Im not a history fan but this is very Interresting to me! There were many historical things like swords, pistols, cannons an of course the highlight "THE CROWN" even a simulator where you can build your own castle!! The Royal Guardians were Interresting too! I think this tourist attraction deserves 5
I can only recommend it to you!
Visiting the Tower of London was the best! The weather wasn t in our favor. It was cold and rainy, so I can only imagine how much better the experience would have been minus that. Please make sure you have access to a map. The grounds are crazy confusing. I arrived right at opening (9am) and went straight to the Crown Jewels. Plan to do that first to avoid the long queues. Huge thanks to the nice, funny Yeoman Warders who pointed me in the right direction for the tour. I was so lost lol! We visited one of the museums, which was quite ineresting and made it to the Yeoman tour just in time. Due to the rain, the tour was in the chapel and we heard some very interesting stories about the tower and the executions. Wow, just wow! Our last stop was the tower itself. Be prepared to walk up and down stairs if you want to get the full experience. Going up was okay, but we had to take a full spiral staircase all the way down. It was definitely an experience!
I spent a whole day here - and it wasn't enough! Beautifully maintained and well-run. If you are a history or English literature buff, this is a must-do.
Very quiet today. Easy to get to by rail very close to fenchurch rail station. It's a great historical place.
This is a must of you're going to London. Also get the audio guide as it'll take you through different areas of the tower and provide some of the history. There's also a free tour but they don't cover as much. Don't skip the building in the middle. It has the armory and some interactive stuff for kids. Watch out for the ravens!
Hardly any exhibits open even though we paid full price - very disappointed
Part of the white tower tour. History and artistry in one place
The Yeoman Warden ("Beefeater") guide we had was hilarious and very knowledgeable. Recommend doing the guided tour. It doesn't take you everywhere around the Tower and only lasts about 30 minutes, but gives you background historical information and points out all the different areas of the Tower for you to explore on your own. Can be quite crowded, especially the line to see the Crown Jewels.
Imposing castle by the Thames housing worlds most famous diamond amongst such crown jewels.
It s the Tower of London.
A castle in London.
Oh.
It holds the Crown Jewels by the way.
One of the top London landmarks and must see.
Solid 5.
Reception lost my reservation. No one to assist with luggage. Had to change rooms when ours was filthy and musty. Never received clean towels. No hot water in shower. Most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept in. Rude staff. Bad food.
Well laid out, brilliant history and informative. The displays were excellent (and I'm a seasoned traveller) allowing a lot of information to be absorbed in a short time without overwhelming us. Loved it
Place was packed and the views were beautiful. I highly recommend everyone that visits London sees it. Now I did not pay to go inside, but just seeing it from the outside was breathtaking. Great place for a family photo.
Best for those who are found of historical places! The crown jewels, the old prison and fragments of the crowning process are some of the best attractions of this place.
Wonderful historic part of London. Lack of crowds due to restrictions is a pleasure but a lot of the indoor areas of the Tower are closed, as are shops and restaurant and even water fountain. No tours or live entertainment. So fewer people but also much less to enjoy.
Rikkiant historical site. The tours offered are ecx9and entertaining, although that's usually not my thing. Glad I did it here.
Great place to visit. Line to see the crown jewels was extremely long but moved pretty fast.
While the tower itself is okay, the exhibits are interesting.
Great historic place. Has a few interactive areas but could do a lot more in this regard
Went to Tower of London for the first time yesterday and all I can say is "wow"! It is an absolute must if you have never been and are in London. It is amazing how many people there were and how smooth it felt looking around the site. So much to learn about such an amazing and one of kind spot in the world. Had a lot of fun learning all the little details. Such a rare opportunity to go back in time and experience bits and pieces of what it would have been like. Loved every moment !
Got to worship in the private chapel built for William the Conqueror! First Sunday of the month in the White Tower.
Lots of interesting exhibits to go see. Absolutely loved the history exhibit in the center building. The top floor is great for the kids, as there is a lot of interactive exhibits. If you are planning on going when you can see the crown jewels, try to go early or on a day that's not as busy. It gets very packed and once you are inside there's still a maze of rooms to go through where many people are shoved together.
These pics are from a tour I just returned from this morning called the Best of London with Tower of London and Changing of the Guard. We also sailed the Thames River. Buckingham Palace was awesome, as well. I love the memories I have made here. So much better than material things. I will never forget all I have seen and experienced. I truly adore London and will return again.
It was cool to see the crown jewels... for the brief moment you get see them while you are whisked by on a moving platform. The rest was neat to, but a bit underwhelming.
Definitely worth it! I was very satisfied with their staff and all the things to see.
Very good stepped in history lovely precious artefacts to see
Nice castle in the middle of the city. It is amazing to know that the castle is 1000 years old and is laying right there in London since then.
Tickets are kind of expensive in my opinion. They also ask for a donation when buying the ticket in person, but the way they to kind of compels you to do it.
Awesome experience. Thanks to the beef eater's. Don't miss the guided tours.
Very much worth the visit, very much worth waiting to do it with a Beefeater, they have so much information on our wealth of random facts that you will appreciate after you leave. Obviously as a girl my favorite part was the crown jewels, but there is so much to see their plan for at least a few hours.
Excellent date at the tower of London, WE will back (maybe plus one other)
The place is absolutely outstanding, its clean and comfort
The yeoman warder who conducted our tour was Amazing!! So knowledgable and had us all laughing til we cried. So much history. Changing of the guards was very cool and obviously the crown jewels collection was amazing to see! Make sure to stop by the ravens gift shop for raven themed gifts. Wonderful way to spend a Sunday.
So much history in a single place... Great experience, it worths every penny!
Totally amazing. We had a private tour guide and worth every penny. The castle is absolutely beautiful and the history is mesmerizing. The crown jewels are breath taking and almost too much. I could spend days in this place. A MUST See in London. The Ravens, Crown Jewels, weapons, Beef Eaters, gates, polar bear, London Bridge, and so much more.
Amazing place Lots of history
Billion of things you can learn from this different world there
