A London must see!! I was amazed by the prison, the audio guide was really helpful and the warden tour was so entertaining!!
Historic monument that now it a musseum. Worth the visit if you love history.
Niiiiiiice place ! Full of history... you can spend 4 to 5 hours there easily ! There is so much to discover !
John our guide was brilliant very informative and funny too - it was a wonderful history lesson well worth a visit.
Wow, holy large! Easily can take up a full day if you want. Great views of the tower bridge. Cafe, etc all within the castle walls. And of course, the crown jewels.
A really informative and interesting place to visit and it is surprisingly not too touristy feeling. The beefeaters gave amazing free guided tours and made it feel very authentic. This is a real must see place for anyone, even Londoners themselves like me.
Visited a year ago was very intresting.
Go see the crown jewels.
See the Beefeaters, different coin collections.
Lots to see but get there early - especially for the crown jewels. The line up was crazy by the time we left. I hate standing in lines while I could be doing other things. Take time to listen to the beefeaters as they are entertaining. Make funny noises and the ravens might hop over to see you too. Soo much wealth and power. Check out the "throne" where they pooped from in the white tower. We thought it funny unless you were outside of the tower at the time.
I really enjoyed my visit to the Tower of London. I booked the audio guide and it was totally worth it, since it guided my trip around the area and made everything more interesting.
I have to say I was disappointed because quite a few areas are being renovated and were impossible to visit. I was interested to visit the rooms in which famous prisoners were held captive and were tortured, and to see the medieval instruments of torture that are so famous, and all that was off limits until the end of October. There was no warning about this while purchasing the tickets, which is wrong.
A must when visiting London. 5 amazing museums in one, including the crown jewels and a huge amount of armour and weapons.
Even better than you would probably imagine. Must see if you are in London. You could probably spend a whole day here if you wanted to see everything.
Loved it! A step back in time, the ravens that are kept there were a favorite.
An iconic and historic edifice with a great history.
Crown Jewels display a bit disappointing especially the speed you have to go through it.
Displays of armour and weaponry is fascinating if you learn your history before
A really great day out with the family. Staff were very helpful answering our questions, the displays were well laid out and the food in the cafe was amazing. We'd love to go back.
Super interesting visit. So much more history than I was aware of.
A lot of touristic attractions to see inside, including the Crown jewels. The free guided tour is great
Loved the tour by Scott Kelly, and he was very entertaining. We were pointed towards the actual 'Tower' (The White Tower), which took a long time to go through. We saw a lot, but actually wanted to see the torture/dungeon part. We bought tickets at 1pm but ran out of time as it closes att 4.30pm. Make sure you get there early to see everything.
It was a little pricey but everything in London is. Very nice gift shop and a nice experience if you're on a budget there are plaques outside and the view from outside is quite nice.
Wonderful place to visit. Our Yeoman of the Guard guide was brilliant, so funny.
Best site to be seen in London with London Bridge also a stones throw. Plenty of great sites and historic things to see.
The place to be. 2-3 hrs needed to see the whole palace. Well informed staff as well
Crown Jewels are spectacular! Lots of history inside the castle
Interesting and amazing place to visit. The crown jewels are astounding. Makes me extremely proud to be British.
Fascinating and full of history. Crown jewels, knights, ravens, parapets, Beefeaters, and even a torture chamber. Great fun, but make sure you allocate at least 3 to 5 hours.
Super fun stop for the whole family Great, tragic, fascinating, and humorous history.... Strangely my favorite thing was the gigantic golden punch bowl.
Allow a full day to see everything and soak up the history. Be warned, expect to queue to see the Crown Jewels!
Always an iconic visit when i see this bridge and castle...
Visited the Tower on the 8th of November to view the lighting up of the flares around the Most...where the ceramic Poppies had been..once again it was lovely to be just a part of the History...of the 100 years end of the War....it took quite sometime for all the lights to be lit by hand..10.000 flares..
And Hundreds of people there and around to see it all..
Very busy, long wait for the crown jewels, other towers were far more accessible though, enjoyed by the whole family x
Not a big history fan but a great set of buildings in a great location with views over Tower Bridge, the Gherkin and the shard. Get in early to see Crown jewels before the VERY large queues.
Expensive to get in on my own. Cheaper to go as a family group.. Outside spacious and clean with a good view of tower Bridge as well
Great historical site but extremely crowded and long lines.
This place is amazing! Rich in history and the tours are very entertaining! We spent nearly all day here
Exerlant place to visit friendly staff good service well laid out plenty to do factual and interesting beefeater great guide
Come see the former home of many English monarchs, ranging from William the Conqueror to Henry VIII, and meet the yeoman "beefeaters" who still serve as warders and guard it. Dating back to the Norman invasion of England in 1066, this fortress is the current home of the Crown Jewels, and it has also served as the royal mint and armoury. Be the way, beware the two-eyed raven!
A bit expensive, but a lot of things to see. Very interesting
Yeoman Warder tour was great, the Crown Jewels, the White Tower, Traitors Gate, Armoury, all worth seeing and I could go on and on.
It was fascinating to see a castle in the city. But the scenery was amazing at night. You could see the building from afar with the lighting toward the building. And there was ice skating ring beside the building in winter like december.
Visited during Covid-19 pandemic. The Tower of London is open. There was no queue at all on a Saturday midday. However, some attractions are closed. The main ones such as the Crown Jewels and the Armoury Museum are open though. And you can of course see the Ravens.
As expected. Yeoman's tour a must. Get there early. We saw the Crown Jewels without a wait because we went early. By the time we left there was a ridiculously long queue!
Cant come to London without a visit..the free guided tour is a definate must
I have done this tour twice, once with and once without a guide, and I HIGHLY recommend doing it with the Yoeman, as they bring out so much more than you can ever get with an audio guide. The history here is just outstanding. There is so much to view and look at. Everything form the place were Anne Boleyn was beheaded, the crown jewels, old lodgings of the kings, torture changes, prisons with names carved in them and so much more. The armor room with the weapons is very fun to look at and see what people use to wear close up
History really comes alive when you are viewing all these fascinating things. I also love how they keep a certain amount of ravens and so much more here. I also didn t know that this place use to be part Zoo with all the animals that many people and dignitaries donated to the monarchy over the years. I didn t know that people (Yoeman and their wives) still lived in the Tower either.
This is totally worth the price to view everything. If you are in London you owe it to yourself to check this out.
A truly great monument even if you just gaze at it from the outside you can't fail to feel the emotion the history and the heartache. A must visit
The crown jewels are amazing.
Lots of historical stories to listen too.
Give yourselves plenty of time to have a good look round
This place offers an amazing experience. You need a few hours to visit every building and of course the crow jewels. 700 years of history in one place. There are many narrow and spiral stairs. Book online in advance and skip the long lines.
Gorgeous, around 2h to 3h long, lot of steps. But so much worth it!
Fantastic place to visit if you're a history fan. The white tower makes an incredible museum with tons of interesting artifacts.
A must visit for any London trip. The tours are first class and the whole family enjoyed and learnt loads.
Amazing experience. I signed up for the membership which allows to save so much money! It takes a full day to appreciate all the Tower has to offer. What I do recommend is to dedicate a full day to visit it, better in the summertime because during winter they close around 16.
I really enjoyed this place. The people are friendly and the place is amazing to visit. The crown is just ... .OMG no word to describe this experience, a bit long but was create a unique experience !

One of the few attractions I visited whilst in London and so glad I did. We didn't join one of the guided tours, only because it was very busy, but have been assured they are well worth it. As it is, there were reenactment of scenes going on throughout my time there.
We queued to see the Crown Jewels which whilst it took a while, we felt was definitely worth it. I don't think we fully explored the grounds but loved our time finding out about the history of the tower.
Must see - Crown Jewels and the guided tour make it worth it - takes 3-4hrs give or take to see it all! Gift shops were okay
Good..
Wish to come again.
It's a full day out if you want to explore all that's on offer. The Beef Eater (Yeoman) tours are worthwhile as a start to the day. There's a lot to explore and all with the benefit of not feeling that you're in London!
Amazing to see at night with on it's lights. Lots of crowd as it's a very popular tourist attraction. Great Loction highly recommend it to anyone
Amazing day out so much to see. The Crown Jewels exhibition is very well done.
An amazing place, so much history, so much to see. One of the most iconic buildings in the world
Amazing place it takes you back centuries very well preserved, clean. I decently recommend the place it's a must visit in London.
A really good day out, plenty to see steeped in history.
Hour long waits for everything, way too crowded and sub par experience. Price was ridiculous for what it offers.
It was very busy on A weekday and didn t get to see everything
Very nice. But avoid on weekends if possible. Gets quite busy on weekends.
One of these iconic places you must visit when in London. Take the guided tour by The Yeomen Warders. There is no extra fee and it is definitely worth your time.
You need at least 2-3 hours for a visit, but there is a lot to see so you could spend much longer time here.
No crowds in March which is fantastic!
Went up for the remembrance special candlelight ceremony but went early to look around the tower. ..so much to see.
Very nice to see all the crown and jewels use by the queen.
Wonderful place to visit, especially with kids. A lot of history gathered in just one place. Too many stairs, be advised.
Tons of history and intriguing facts. Great use of modern technology.
I really love being close to the beauty of the crown
Great history here! Take a Beefester tour for the best experience!
Nice views of Tower Bridge from the Tower of London. Very good place to visit, lots to do and see. You will need a day or two to see everything, especially during the summer as it gets very busy. If you plan on seeing the crown jewels, prepare to queue for a long time.
First, see if the ticket line is not full of people "who can't speak English". There were many tourists who can't. The Cashiers will still sell them guide books and ask them to give the "obligatory" donations to the Tower upkeep. You can tell a tourist group that needs help - a lot. We waited 40 minutes just to get 2 tickets while the other lines move along.
Second, TAKE THE YEOMAN TOUR. They are very funny, informative and authentic. Last tour is, 15:30.
THIRD, make the Royal Crown Jewel your last stop. The other buildings like the White Tower, Bloody Tower, etc. are more interesting and needed more time to see. The Chapel is interesting. Ask the Yeoman where was Anne Bolyn buried. It is not in the Sarcophagus.
Fourth, the Cafe/Canteen serves good food.
Fifth, always bring an umbrella and wear a good walking shoes. You will climb a lot of stairs.
Classic London place to see. It is still quite impressing. Really worth watching it at night when the lights go on.
Beautiful historical building with precious artifacts . Everybody's must visit place
Great but gets very busy. It is possible to traverse with a pram but it is an old place so difficult. The free tour was brilliant and wish we could have followed it but they went up some stairs so we had to abandon. Was cold on the day we went and huge queue to get into crown jewels so we had to abandon.
There are a number of interesting exhibits but the main attractions are the white tower, the crown jewels, and the fact that it's a castle in the middle of London. There are some decent views of the Thames and Tower Bridge. Be wary of long lines for the crown jewels, and it will likely be crowded. Be sure to go around the castle walls. There are a lots of exhibits along the route. Definitely a place you want to go if visiting London.
Beautiful grounds with SO much to see..shaped in history
Super interesting place to visit. Allow for at least a couple hours. Definitely take the tour with Yoeman as they are super interesting and Very entertaining.
Really fascinating tour around the Tower with lots of interesting facts. Had a great time
What can I say, this is a historic landmark. Not overpriced, if I could wish for anything it definitely would be a bag/coat service.
I couldn't check into my hotel until the afternoon so lugging around a bag up and downstairs sucked. Not their fault though.
This place has a lot to see for a good price. You could easily spend half or a full day here.
The Crown Jewels are one of the main attractions of the Tower of London and with their hypnotic features are a sight that should not be missed (no photography though). Besides that, the armory is also interesting and interactive, especially suitable for the kids.
