Wonderful history and so exciting to see the crown jewels!
Great place to visit. The Yoemen Warder tours are a must.
A lo of History remember you need 3 hours to visit they close at 4pm
Very crowded and airless. No instruction or guidance unless you pay extra. I was disappointed.
iconic landmark and a great photo opp with the tower bridge
I was first here when I was 10, and it was a cool attraction then. Now, it's a whole new Tower. Kids get there Royal treatment with mini events and interactive story telling. The new presentations make learning the history of the Tower easier. I have a much deeper appreciation for the history here now.
Visiting during current Covid situation was great drastically reduced amount of people being admitted made it a real pleasure. However I can imagine it would be a nightmare in normal times. We walked straight into the Crown jewels but were told the queue would normally be about an hour and a half.
Love the history of this place! It really is like walking in to another world. The stories, the famous people who visited or who were executed, some buried in the chapel; all fascinating. A must see if in London. And of course the jewels were to die for!
Another fantastic piece of English history available in the middle of London. Always a large crowd, but good access to the tour, opportunities for good photos and close proximity to shops, cafes and restaurants.
The entrance fee is quite expensive, but if you go early and have a lot of time you will be able see all that is on offer. It is money well spent. There are enough things to keep you busy all day.
Nice place to visit, not much to do there but the location is great.
We got there late, did get to see the crown jewels though so that was awesome. Really would have liked to see more but just no time. Maybe next time around.
A London icon, and well worth the visit. (If interested, I'd highly recommend entering with the Tower of London tour with London Walks - you get a wonderful amount of backstory that makes what you then tour on your own that much richer.)
What can I say, there is so much history here that any tourist should make this a must see. We were fortunate to beat the crowds and be able to be a bit more leisurely. When we left the lines were longer so go early
Really great experience! Just feeling the weight of history as one is lead through this amazing space is well worth both your time and money. While we were there we got to see the Gurka Regiment perform the Ceremony of the Keys and it was simply fantastic.
This is my 2nd visit to the Tower of London. Still amazing the 2nd time. My Yeoman Warder tour was by the Ravenmaster Chris Skaife himself which I was excited for. It was a very rainy day so the tour was a bit shorter and was held mostly in the chapel. But it was still very informative and worth it.
Great place to visit with the family. Lots to see and do, especially during schook holidays.
Great historic place, don't forget to get a guided tour by one of the Yeomen Warders (Beefeaters). It's a way to get to know the history of the Tower.
very Nice exhibitions, good facilities for small children, although not everything readily accessible.
Amazing!! Too much history to see and cannot be done in one day. Each time we visit more history is uncovered. The Crown Jewel Tower, omg! Left unsaid as you have to visit and see for yourself!! Mini shows are on, on certain times and are simply amazing although I didnt get to see one on our last week visit. Picnic areas, cafe, gift shops on site. Will visit again defo.
I have wanted to visit here for ages, and I was not disappointed. We joined in the tour which was excellent.
Nicely maintained castle in middle of London. Price is on higher side though
Well worth the price of entry. So much to see inside. Crown jewels just stunning - beyond description.
Amazing and way bigger than it looks. Beefeater tours are great
Easy access by bus. On London pass with fast pass entry. They charge for audio guide. Only place in town we encountered that. Not cheap to walk in, so that's pathetic. They have boxes asking for donations after you've paid to go in. Kinda obnoxious. Historically very interesting. Lots to see. The beefeater walking tour had way too many people. Go early to avoid rush and go right to crown jewels first to miss the large queuing later. The jewels are worth the price of admission itself. Lots of walking and steps so be aware. Watch the secret of tower of London before you go.
Great day out got to go again as not enough time to see everything
What a great day out!! Excellent value for money! I spent 5 hours there and still didn't see it all as Prisoners at the Tower exhibition was closed for refurbishment. It's a great place to visit and seeing the crown jewels was amazing!
Wonderful place to visit. So much great history and artifacts.
A must do for everyone who visits London.
Really enjoyed our visit, there's more to see than I expected. There is sometimes long queues to see the crown jewels although the line moves surprisingly quickly. As well as souvenir shops there is a couple if places to eat and drink, the food is a tad expensive though. Definitely one of London's sights worth visiting.
It was an awesome experience to see the crown jewels, beasts of the tower and to know the vast history behind it..
Beautiful destination. Sometimes crowdy, but OK. The place where you can feel British history. If you don't visit this site, you haven't been in London. Like this.
Absolutely fantastic!! The history behind this is unbelievable making it well worth the visit, along with the fantastic photos you can capture whilst there.
You can either purchase tickets online or just up slightly from the entrance. I would highly recommend going on a weekday and arriving 10min before opening to buy your tickets before the crowd builds up. It also allows unrestricted views and photos to be taken. I spent around 2 hours here. However you could spend anywhere from 30min to 4 hours looking around.
Interesting place, full of history. Very helpful and knowledgeable guides. Interesting to know that there still are some services in the chapel.
Such an interesting and fun visit making our history real! Brilliant for kids and oldies!
It was my daughters 1st time going to see the tower bridge, she really enjoyed it. The British weather never fails. Yes it rained, the wind was high and there was people everywhere. We plan go back in the summer holidays and get a tour of the tower too.
Great attraction, the Crown jewels is a must see attraction, there are programs through out the day including history reenactment which can be enjoyed by both adult and kids. I could give it 5 stars but the ticket are causing the missing More
Great place to visit. Worth a visit if your into your history.
Absolutely fantastic place to visit!! Area is clean and open, plenty of bins around too. Some places can get busy but that's expected and there are a lot of stairs to go up and down but again that is expected.
Great must see destination of London. Very crowded though so be prepared to be surrounded by people and spend a lot of time in lines
Go with a lot of time avaiable. There's the Museum of Crown Jewely, Museum of War, Tower Executions, Medieval Palace, Royal Beats, and there's a amazing view of the Tower Bridge. Enjoy a full morning ir afternoon in it.
Seriously it's too noisy, crowded, and overall overhyped to be genuinely interesting
Pretty cool but really expensive. I recommend the guided tour. Very witty.
Twilight tour was reasonably priced and such a more in depth tour, highly recommended.
A brilliant tourist trap, but a real thing, stepped in history. I particularly like standing on the opposite side of the river and when Thames water is low enough, you Dan see old remnants of the 'traitors gate'... would reccomend going, if you've never been to. Also, don't miss out on going to St Katherine 's docks, when you there, it's often overlooked by anyone visiting tower of London
I had no idea how awesome the tower of London is, I spent 2 hours here and it was simply... amazing! The structure itself was really cool, and all of the history that has happened there is astounding! The highlights for me were the Crown Jewels, The Armory at the White tower and the amazing view of modern day London. You cannot miss visiting this amazing place! As always, get there early to avoid crowds.
Nice evening to walk around the Tower of London and Tower Bridge. Great for photos.
Great historic location. Really enjoyed the museum
The Beefeater guided tour is not to be missed. John was our Beefeater and he was brilliant; great stories and really good fun. After the tour we went to see the Crown Jewels and the White Tower, both of which were filled with displays and great information. The jewels were particularly impressive!
Must visit when in London. Rich history and a variety of things to do.
Probably my favorite historical site in London.
Allow yourself plenty of time to explore this fascinating place.
Do not miss the magnificient armour display and make note of that belonging to King Henry VIII.
I have some mobility issues and this, like most of the sites I have visited in London, unfortunately lack accessibility.
Very good day out. Spent the whole day there. Recommend the free guided tours by the Yeomans. (Beefeaters). Food and drink is a little pricey as is the rest of London. However the ice cream was nice.
Worth buying tickets in advance. Brilliant tour with Beefeaters. Fab display of crown jewels.
Great historic site, definitely visit the ravens while you're there
Interesting day out. Rather biased as I know one of the Yeoman Wardens. Expensive if you have a family but plenty to see and do. Enjoyed seeing the Crown Jewels.
A little pricey, but the crown jewels are very beautiful. A good place to take children for a history lesson.
Great day out. Not too expensive. Fantastic staff. Will definitely go back.
We didnt get a chance to go in, but just walking around it was pretty cool. The gift shop was reasonably priced. We didnt want to spend the pounds juat to walk in as we have a ton of other things planned. It seems pretty cool though and I spoke with a bunch of people who came put and they enjoyed it.
A must see!! Plan ample time to see the whole thing. You can easily spend the whole day here. We went in November and there were NO lines for the crown jewels.
Went there only to see Kohinoor Jewel! A feeling of rich Indian.!!!
Not what I expected and you can easily see everything within an hour but it is a wonderful look back at history. Food is reasonably priced but if you want to make it even cheaper take your own food, staff are helpful and insightful with their knowledge, it is also recommended you either have a talking guide headset it join one of the tours
Superb place to be. We only had 2 hours and it definitely wasn't enough. Estimate to spend at least 4 hours here to be able to fully appreciate the whole building.
Cool seeing the old well kept tower and history. Easy to imagine the ancient times walking around there A little pricey for a self guided tour but I guess I'm just cheap
Very nice place must visit when you visiting London
Absolutely wonderful. Full of history. Spent the whole day there. Although it was busy, people were very kind and were ready to move on so we could see the displays.
Fascinating history. One should not be rushed for time. Follow the Beafeaters commentary and then see at leisure.
Nice place but very busy. The crown jewels are real and although it's a long wait to get in, they are amazing.
Loved seeing the brilliantly displayed crown jewels . It's great how historic information is projected on the walls in exibhit areas . also great talks and guided tours are so interesting
Was so amazing to see all the lights for the soldiers that fought for our country, So glad i got to see this...they have done such a great job!! Its a must see!!
Soo much to do. Definitely buy a guide or follow the yeoman warders around.
