Enjoyed our visit. Grandparents with granddaughter Lilly. Really interesting. A good guided tour from the beafeater. We enjoyed seeing the Crown jewels and we'll collect nanny from the rack on our next visit.

This is a historic place. The tower and the museums are very nice and I would recommend to plan some time to spend there.

You can also walk along the wall and the views are very beautiful.

What I dont like about this place is the entrance fee. It is very expensive, even for London. London has many free museums, so I would recommend to visit them first.

Well worth the visit. Be sure to go early and go straight to the crown jewels. Great piece of history that's a must see whilst in the UK. Book your tickets online to avoid any long queues. Lots of photo opportunities. The electronic tour guides are good value for money and provide plenty of insight to the tour.

Much to see - Crown jewels, knights in armour, histories of various royal families, prisons, chapels, locations of beheadings. Regular guided tours by criers or using headsets. Next to the magnificent Tower Bridge & a short walk across to London bridge.

A very interesting and educational experience that helps highlight the rich history of England and it's Monarchy. The artefacts and exhibits are literally museum pieces that help detail the timelines of England's illustrious leaders. The architecture is amazing and complimented by the excellent staff and traditions. Definitely a place to spend a few hours to soak it all in.

First of all, plan to spend the day at the Tower of London. The entire complex is much bigger than I expected and you can spend hours touring the various buildings. I was in awe of how much access you get to all the buildings - it's hard to wrap your brain around that fact that the construction of some of these buildings began soon after the founding of England in 1066. When you are climbing staircases and touching the stones that make up the walls of the buildings, you're touching 1,000 years of history; it's a pretty neat experience for an American who's only used to maybe 300 years of history, at the most. Touring with a beefeater is highly recommended and they are very entertaining men and extremely funny. The Crown Jewel exhibit is, of course, extremely popular and tends to be crowded most of the day, although the line seems to more rather quickly. And there's plenty of opportunities to eat and the food offerings are quite good for a tourist site. If you're visiting London for the first time, this is a must-see site.

From all the hype I'd heard of this place I was a bit let down, the best part of this was the central bit about historic armour and not the crown jewels as I was led to believe. Still, an interesting day out none-the-less

A great experience. We used the audio guide and followed the map around. The jewels were amazing! The was even a little show with Knights dressed up defending the castle which the kids really enjoyed.

Fantastic piece of history that focuses on what the tower has been used for during it's long existence. Lines can be long and there is no re-admittance so be prepared to be here a while. The Crown Jewels and something you must see

A fantastic tourist attraction, which is steeped in history and has a great array of places to visit, which can easily provide a day s worth of entertainment. The only downside are parts of the site can feel very crowded and internal queues can be long.

The guided tour was given by a very interesting Beefeater. Of course it started raining so it was cut short and finished in the chapel where no pictures are allowed to be taken. The King's armory on the way up to see the Crown Jewels was impressive. Don't forget to check out the changing of the guard and of course the many Ravens that frequent the property.

Excellent historical palace, home to the crown jewels, would highly recommend booking tickets before and getting there for about 8.30 that way you beet the crowds by going straight to the Jewels then doing the rest after, be aware that really this is a whole day sort of place.

Didn't get to see everything but would definatly go again
And if the person on the gate suggests you go to somewhere first take the hint
As we got to fully see the crown jewels, after we walked out the cue was filling the barrier section
They do a good history walk around play that kids and adults will enjoy too

Really enjoyed the tower of London. It is a little pricey, but I found that it was really hard to find good Tudor history in London. If you are into Tudor history, this is an absolute must see.

One of the top tourist attractions in London. Highly recommend the Yeoman Warden tour which is the only way to get into the chapel. The line to see the crown jewel can get longer as the day progresses so it's best to do that early in your visit.

A fortress steeped in history from Norman times. The Yeoman Warders have many interesting facts to relate on the guided tours. Unfortunately, one doesn't get to spend too much time admiring the Crown Jewels due to the long queue. There is a nice collection of armour in the White Tower and the information boards are great. There is an assortment of objects like cannons, helmets and weapons from different wars. A memorial to royal prisoners executed on Tower Green was added later on.

This is lovely castle located at the bank of river Thames. Main attraction in the castle is Koh-hi-noor diamond. But I think entry price ticket is bit higher. One can get familiar with History of British Empire.

Can't take pics of crown jewels.
Nice courtyard and towers.. but but much else... The history behind it is much more interesting.. don't bother with gift shop. Same stuff available on street corners for 1/3 of the price.

What is there to say other than it's extremely impressive. The history is so vast it's hard to know where to start.
The wall is equally as impressive as the white tower and the crown jewels. To stand where kings have stood before you, to see where the most important people lived, that's impressive. The white tower has an exhibit of pieces of armor from previous kings, as well as weapons from those ages.
The crown jewels are what you expect of them. The most expensive and most beautiful jewels ever.
Overal the most impressive and amazing thing I saw on my trip to London

This was amazing! So much history. I'd recommend allowing at least half a day and get there early to avoid the crowds wanting to see the crown jewels. The tours looked like great fun with so much knowledge shared by the Beefeaters

They say 3-4hrs - - we were there all day from 10.25am (just in time for 1st Beefeater Tour) till 4.15pm.Brilliant day, & considering it was a Sat, not too many people(well, not as many as we thought there would be)

A must visit for all the tourists who visit London. The Tower of London is home to amazing crown jewels. A beautiful historical structure with the old London Bridge alongside the Thames. It is a wonderful sight at night if you can find time to do that .

The history is wonderful and it is presented very well. The audio tour is good and well worth it. There is always a queue to see the Crown Jewels but it really is a must do. A great way to spend a few hours while in London.

My favourite London attraction ever! I love it! It's got everything, it really has! You'd be crazy not to go! Tales of plot, deception and murder crowned with the finest jewels in the world and armed with weaponry throughout the ages. Soldiers on guard, sanction in the Chapel, bestiaries, need I go on? Oh! And Anne Boleyn's final resting place! Just go! It's a full day out for everyone.

Went to see beyond the deepening shadow, it was very crowded and quite chaotic at times, but the stewards did a great job in keeping order. There was one in particular, short eastern European guy in glasses at the end of the slope, who was especially patient and helpful!

One of the most Amazing places I have been in a long time. Historically amazing and historically significant. Part museum, part torture chamber, part prison, part vault. There is a lot to see. Highly recommend if in London stop here to see London's history.

A must in London. A step back in history, the Tower of London has a lot to it! You wouldn't say that when you see it from the street. You have a lot to see here so expect to spend 3-4 hours, more if you plan on seeing the Crown jewelries, as the queue there is usually long. There are also plenty of photo opportunities around.

If you are already familiar with the history about the Tower I would skip the Yeoman guard tour. Yes, they are funny and interesting, but you end up being carried from place to place with a huge crowd of people in a fast and touristy manner. If you are more like me and enjoy setting your own pace to the visit and enjoy the history for yourself, then it's better to skip it. If you know nothing/few about it and are decent with English, take the tour.

This was our second visit, first where the kids were old enough to enjoy it. Worth it to see, lots of history. Buy your ticket in advance to save a few bucks and definitely experience the Beefeater tour (included).

Experience and see how the royal family of England lived. Have a glimpse of their armoury and of course the grown jewels of royal family.

Grown jewels museum houses the world s costliest Kohinoor diamond from India.

A living piece of history that still has active use, including the display of the Crown Jewels. Definitely take the Yeoman Warden guided tour that is included with the admission price. They are very knowledgeable and undergo a rigorous selection process to perform the duties of their role of the Queen's Guard.
The Tower Ravens are famous, quite large, and seem to enjoy intimdation of small children; they're quite a sight as well.

Worth checking out, but be sure you have several hours to see it all. And definitely make sure you catch one of the guided tours as they will be able to take you to places you normally can not get into, and they are a wealth of knowledge. But the main attraction would be the Crown Jewels, which no amount of words can describe.
