Good range of exhibits. Seals were the highlight for us - even without a presentation they were pretty active and playful. Also liked the stingrays. Pretty much all the exhibits were interesting though and liked the info about ways we can help protect various species

Local area is serene. Nearby accommodation at Excellsior Mooloolaba is in the perfect position to have a relaxing stay, and a overlooks a beautiful aspect of the Maroochy River. So many sea creatures to enjoy in their natural habitat at the nearby SEA LIFE Aquarium

If you understand that the running costs of an aquarium of this size and what their goal is, the cost of admission is justifiable. Not something you'll be doing multiple times per year, but the value you get justifies a trip every now and then.

The seal show was great, with a focus on biology more than doing lots of tricks (some tricks) that makes it feel much more like a proper aquarium than a tourist attraction - major props for that.

Walkways can be a bit crammed, and the layout can be difficult to walk around, and many people walking the wrong way causes a bit of congestion - but worth it for fitting as many displays in such a small footprint.

Carparks are showing their limits on a busy day, just park down the road and take a short walk along the beach to save the hassle!

Previously known as Underwaterworld. Plan time there based on when talks or shows are planned. We missed all but final one for day; however lucky to watch a short training period with one of the seals.
Kids love the display that encourages them to touch and being able to walk through fish and shark display tunnel.

Sea life - brilliant, animators and staff brilliant. Hypocrisy Awful. Right next to the plastic in the ocean exhibit they re selling plastic cups and drink straws, single use sauce sachets etc. Don t even recycle their cardboard.
Management needs a kick up the starfish!

Be aware they close at 3pm. $39 for one adult. A couple of hours for adults but i would imagine longer with kids. Seal show more for kids than adults but still worth a watch. Staff seemed friendly. Air con almost too cold. Good way to spend part of the day.

I think the entrance fees is a bit pricey, especially when some of the sections are closed for renovation... Kitchen stopped serving hot food and chips around 2pm.
Otherwise that was good fun and seals show was awesome

Went there yesterday did not enjoy it at all. Was so overpriced for how tiny the place was. Not much to see and saw the whole thing in less than and hour. We back tracked where we came thinking we had missed something but no. Dont waste your money here or time. Would not recommend to anyone and would never go back.

We had a great day out at sea life. Our son (2yrs) loved looking at all the wild life and watching the seal show. There's plenty to see however parking is a bit of a hassle, especially on weekends when it's busy

Good customer service, the seal show was great. The 2 kids playgrounds weren t there when I last visited, these are great additions for families.

Some of the sealife that were there in the past weren t there - like African chichlids, turtles, otters and giant crabs. There were also no crocodiles or penguins. I know that Sea Life are investing in some new exhibits that are coming soon...including some fairy penguins. But for now, the variety of animals on display has gone backwards compared to 10years ago.

Amazing experience for all ages

Amazing experience for all ages
I used to go all the time as a little girl, and now my husband and I take our daughter. We purchased annual passes so we can come as often as we like
She's 1 and is mesmerised by the animals.
She particularly loves the seals, and will actually sit patiently watching the seal show
We all have a fantastic time every time, and the staff are so lovely too.

A decent trip to take the kids. A large underwater tunnel and a live seal demonstration multiple times a day. Plenty of exhibits. Keep an eye out for ticket promotions during the school holidays

Loved all of the animals and how family friendly it was. The only thing was the message about preventing pollution in the sea was not exactly supported by selling water in bottles. I looked around the seal show and saw probably 40 plastic bottles bought from the cafe. Maybe having drinking water or fountains where people filled their drink bottles and publicizing this so people don't buy the bottled water would back up the ethos of the aquarium more.
