Wow what great value! Excellent aquarium, helpful friendly staff, not too tough on the hip pocket, a terrific day out. My 18 month old grandson thought he was in heaven. Loads of interactive displays. Very visitor friendly.
Was an awesome day
Doesn't taje very long 2 get around but u can always go back and see ur favourite animals again. Go see the shows coz they are pretty good.
I picked up a bus load of school kids that had their school camp trip here and they loved the time they spent there and learned a lot about marine life
Plenty to see, very exciting walk through tunnel, good reasonably priced gifts in the shop, really welldone seal show..and great staff.Top value.
Kids loved it. Nice pleasant staff. Appreciate the seals are rescued and well looked after.
Great day out, staff our so friendly and the sea lion show was a huge plus point, priced well with discounts available if you pre book. Not just for kids, great family activity.
All right .. when I got to the end I got "was that all?" feeling .. probably had slightly higher expectations ..
It's vacation time here in Australia, so there were a lot of people, which meant:
hard to find parking
queue to enter
too many people indoors and difficult to maneuver with a stroller.
queue to get out.
They have a pretty good seal show and a small playground.
We had a great time, the aquarium is smaller then the Melbourne version but still great for kids just don't plan on it filling more then a few hours.
We had a great afternoon and will definitely be back. Our toddler LOVED it. A bit difficult to find a park but can t think of anything else but positive experience!
It was really cool to go and see all the amazing sea life. As a country girl that has never seen any of the fish before it was really cool
This is a good place to go and take your kids....as a local they need to revamp so.e of thr older parts re do the concept of the seal show
my wife and i thoroughly enjoyed it
our timing was spot on as we saw the feeding of the big sharks
We liked visiting but it got super hot during the show because the old fans don't work properly anymore so no cooling.
So fun even for someone as old as i am only just a little to noisy in the tunnel which is to be expected with kiddies
Amazing aquariums and educational displays for kids. A great family day out.
Can fit a wheelchair or double pram with ease.
Get there early to get a carpark or you could end up walking for a while.
Beautiful fish and other animals and the seal show!
Was alright but wasn't long enough, only took us about 20 mins looking at every little thing, and family photos were a bit exxy to buy but meh I might be back again one day :)
A bit tired but good show presentation and range of sealife
I went there with my family and I loved it. Very fascinating stuffs to look at. The place was clean. There were some constructions going on which made my visit a bit noisy. Watched the seal show which was entertaining. Its worth it.
I go every 2 yrs to see this amazing place with the Grandkids
A great place to explore and learn about life aquatic with the family. It is quite small however compared to other aquariums, even other Sea Life franchises are bigger thus it seems a steep in price at over $40 per adult.
Not what it used to be very disappointed. The seal show was the highlight of the day. Won't be going back or recommending.
Customer service brilliant great fum for the kids the seal swim was bery good and exiting the prices arent that high too would go there again for sure
Went there today, we had been there 15 years ago. Cost us $42 each. Was great to see it again. Not much had changed but what was disappointing was the toilets and the taps that did not work . In the ladies not far from entrance, only one tap worked out of three. The toilets near the seal show the taps were broken. Please use the $84 we paid today and fix them!!!. If that isn t a priority then that is a shame that you will let it run down completely. A few empty displays floating around. I don t think it is worth the high prices anymore. It felt that quite a few things were missing. Thanks
Great place to visit for young children. Informative and interactive experience with some awesome exhibts. Friendly and helpful staff.
Aquarium full of things to see and do, plenty of areas for the kids to interact with.
Good family day out, plenty to see to keep kids entertained, friendly staff, prices are what you'd expect at a tourist destination.
Nice day out, good for kids plus really friendly staff.
It was enjoyable experience but 2 hours in between shows was a bit too long to wait around. A very upset 5 year old who missed out on the seal show. After an hour we had already seen everything.
Absolutely Brilliant the sea lion show was amazing plus loads of other things to see and do
People seem to be much more beautiful than the gold coast.
Not the first Sea Life aquarium we visited, but it's a treat every time. Gladly again! Ursi & Michi
Great day out for all the family pricey but family deals OK
Great interactive sea life experience. Seal show was a real hit.
Amazing day out with the family. Gorgeous facilities and fantastic seal show. Very informative. Would recommend purchasing tickets early to save $.
Local and been a few times. It is a great place to bring a child. Just wanted to make a comment about the waste in the cafe. You can t get a a coffee in a ceramic cup/mug. There is only disposables. Food is served on cardboard. Better than plastic but ceramic would be best. There are signs that the disposables are the better kind. But resources are still used and it still creates waste. There is no water bubbler or water bottle refill tap. Crazy for Queensland heat. Fridges are filled with plastic water bottles to buy however. The messaging is to protect the environment and especially sea life. Just feels a bit like greenwashing unfortunately.
Not a bad little place to visit to entertain yourself or the kids. Good education and the seal show was pretty decent. A good day activity.
Bit different because of covid but still good doesn't seem to be as much there as there used to ne
Slightly disappointed in the displays and the lack of social distancing/hygiene once we were inside. Pleasant staff and large gift shop..
Amazing creatures and animals and overall atmosphere. However very expensive if not booking online and for the $170 paid for family of 5 and to have to also pay for photos may not be worth it. Good for a one time visit sort of thing.
Great place to visit. Full of fun facts and activities for the kids. Missed the billabong experience. The penguins are fun to look at and the kids loved the seals. Would be great to see Sea turtles
Kinda small but the kids love it. Recommend the talks and the seal show in particular.
It's a must visit for the kids but a little out dated. The surrounding Wharf area is beautiful with some great restaurants
Young kids loved it. However, parents, you just have to pay and pay and pay. Its a bit cheeky after paying a couple hundred dollars to take the family for a day out if you didnt have to traverse the gift shop on your way to the cafe, on your way to the last section, to be able to get out, to be presented with a another oppurtunity to have to shell out more for a commemorative photo. Yeesh. Great fish tunnel though.
Great spot but same as all the others and possibly a little tired but we love this stuff all the same. Note.. family tickets are cheaper online and they made me book online on my phone to access the cheaper pricing which was quite a bit cheaper. Just silly ...
Staff were friendly, wonderful displays and 'touch pool' - my toddler loved it! The only downside was trying to find a park.
Fun day out for the family. Great seal show and fish tunnels.
It was a rainy day, very crowded, but the flow through was very good, a good natured laid back crowd, so no pushing and shoving, the staff kept control in a very pleasant helpful manner. The venue is pretty run down, but there are clearly improvement being done...
It was really good for the kids. They enjoy getting up close and personal with the aquatic wildlife. The seal show seemed to be the same as previous visits though. Overall the kids really enjoyed themselves
Kids enjoyed it but it's looking rather old and is a lot smaller than expected. We were through in about 1.5 hours. I made us double back to have another look at some exhibits. Don't think it's necessarily value for money
It a really great place to take the kids on a rainy day, it filled it in nicely.
An amazing tourist attraction, run by professional and knowledgeable staff (who I'm sure have degrees in marine biology). They had a great variety of sea life and the seal show was surprisingly good. As good as the aquarium in Sydney.
Nothing great to say about this place. Another run down money grabbing place in Mooloolaba.
Don't waste your time.
If your from NSW you can pretty much see the exact same thing in Sydney.
It was hot and the line was long we had previously paid passes and had to wait while people were filling in firms for something. Let me give you some advice Sealife Mooloolaba! Smarten up your act or you will just be another lost cause like the big pineapple or the Yacht Club that's no longer down the road.
Really good, have visited the Sydney one and this was very similar on a slightly smaller scale.
Disappointing. The seal show is the same one I saw almost 6 years ago and they no longer have otters, which were the reason I wanted to go.
The larger fish tanks look more like they should be temporary tanks rather than permanent homes with how empty and depressing they are.
My family and I spent almost over an hour there at best before we realised we'd seen everything there was to see.
While there were plenty of gorgeous fish and seahorses the disappointment at the end of our visit really outweighs the good bits.
Probably better off going to Australia zoo too be honest. At least then you get a whole days worth of thing to do and see.
Good fun for the kids best to take your own healthy food choice and eat during the seal show
Great day out for the 2 year old. Went on a weekday and it was discounted to $25. Children under 3 are free. Some areas were under renovation which was a shame but we really liked the tunnel where the Sharks and stingrays are. Staff are friendly and food wasn't too expensive
BE CAREFUL - Needs renovation and new activities looks 10+ years old, Purchased a deal and when arrived they charged us for 2 more children as the terms were not clear on the site, would not let us talk to a Manager and the service at front desk blamed us not the poor writing off the offer. Underwater World SEA LIFE Moooloolaba do you not realise you are ripping off the families that support you, we will never return. We will tell all our fiends and family. WASTE OF TIME. Both my wife and I said we would have had more fun at the beach.
Fabulous! Just a bit of queue even if we prepaid our tickets, but worth it! Love the Seal show and exhibits are great, the sea animals are really there, in some aquariums, the animals cannot be seen, here, we enjoyed the sea dragons, the seals, up close and personal even before the show, also tons of various types of fish and the ocean tunnel was not as small but full of amazing creatures!
