Cannot recommend this place highly enough!

Cannot recommend this place highly enough!
We loved it so much we went twice, did the behind the scenes tour, and met the seals.

So much to see and learn about, and a really great conservation focus. The staff were knowledgeable, friendly, and really cared about their animals.

The kids enjoyed this place so much, but truth be told I think I enjoyed it the most!! Definitely not just a place for kids, there s plenty to see here for adults too.

The underwater tunnel was a fav, and as we learnt on the behind the scenes tour, everything is much bigger than it appears down there! Palace the shark is an amazing big girl, and my kids had a great time identifying the gender of all the sharks and rays after our tour guide told us how.

Everything was clean and well maintained.

Our only issue was parking, we did unfortunately get a fine - would have though time limits would be removed for such a place? But that s not the fault of Sealife, that s the council...

Highly recommend, 10/10, will absolutely be back again

*Tried Booking Tickets online, wouldn't work for our particular booking group.
* Tried ringing the SEA LIFE 4 times. NO ANSWER.
* Left a Message on Voicemail. NO ONE RANG ME BACK.
* Tried to ring their After Hour Emergency number (thinking maybe their phonelines are down?). MESSAGE BANK FULL AND NO ANSWER.
* Sent 2 Email requests - Once through their contact us, and once by Direct Email. TOOK 3 DAYS TO RESPOND. WHEN I DID GET A RESPONSE IT WAS SORRY, WE ARE BOOKED OUT, TRY AGAIN ANOTHER TIME. NO OFFER OF A DATE TO COME, NO PHONECALL TO ARRANGE AN ALTERNATIVE - NOTHING !!!!!!!

BLOODY POOR SERVICE! DECIDED TO GO TO AUSTRALIA ZOO INSTEAD.
Australia Zoo answers your phonecall straight away.
Australia Zoo's website works better and is easier to use.
Australia Zoo's staff bent over backwards to assist. They answered my calls, rang me back with more information, arranged special experiences and assistance for my elderly guests.

SEA LIFE - I post this so your marketing staff might see this and action your weaknesses. I also sent an email back to your customer service to alert you to your flaws so they can be remedied.

I would hate to see a Aussie Tourism business fail and more Qld'ers lose their jobs through lack of customer service and planning at management level.

DO BETTER !

We loved this place. We were a 15strong family group and they did us a good group discount. The kids loved everything and the adults too. Shark tube was awesome and was the ray tank as you entered.
Only fault was 3 hour parking out front...otherwise 5 stars

Great plan for a rainy day like today or any other weather condition. It's even more fun for kids as they have different activities to interact and learn about sealife while having fun! But as an adult you can enjoy them too :)

we pre-purchased tickets online and visited on a tuesday morning during a non-holiday period. for adults visiting with children under 2 it's quite reasonably priced ($20 each adult) for what it is.... if we had paid standard price on a weekend, or had older children to pay for, we would've been very disappointed....
not a single turtle in the "turtle cove"... one seal......... one sad crocodile......... one monitor lizard that you struggled to view in the enclosure it was kept in... one tiny octopus in its own little tank that looked like it hated life......

the under water tunnel with all the sharks, coral and reef fish was definitely the highlight. our son liked playing with the octonauts stuff, but that's not what we hoped to get from a place like that with a child who ADORES animals.
the touch tank with the star fish he could touch near the entrance was good, the lady there was yawning (at 9:30 in the morning) and I can't imagine it would be very stimulating/rewarding for them
...the luminescent jelly fish near the end were very pretty.
you have to go through the gift shop to exit (we didn't stop to look at anything), raced past the cafe, and didn't go into the play equipment as our son was due for his nap from an unusually early waking time. we were through the whole place in less than an hour.

Always love coming here. Every time we find something new and fun. Watching the octopus and holding the sea cucumbers are always a hit and laughing at the otters playing. Great for kids to learn about ocean life.

Great presentation of Sea life.

Great presentation of Sea life.
However contradictory message when they sell garbage food and plastic toys.
Low impact living. Eat what you need and don't consumpollute.

Really great experience for all ages. There are plenty of different types of marine creators to see and learn about and even a section where kids (and adults) can touch a selection of sea animals. Highly recommended if you're anywhere on the Sunshine Coast!

Wonderfully warm and friendly staff and lots of really interesting sea creatures to learn about. Make sure you do the behind the scenes tour, the staff really care about all their creatures.

A great place to visit, particularly if you have a child that is interested sea animals. They have a great sensory tank where you can feel starfish, shark eggs amoungst other things. Walking through the tunnels is great with large sharks and sting rays. There are talks at different exhibits throughout the day. Be warned, Finding Nemo/Finding Dory features a lot throughout the aquarium

The sporadic aquarium is a popular attraction, but it is too cramped and muggy for all the traffic. On that note, it took us half an hour to find a parking space. The best of that day I had was when we left for lunch at a nearby take-away.

The aquarium is not excessively large, but it is really beautiful. A stop not to be missed if you are on the gold coast. The cost for the Australian standard is not excessively high, but 20 for just two hours is not a shortage.

really enjoyed the fish and exploring the shark and ray tunnels. I paid to swim with the seals and it was definitely worth the money, it was an amazing experience and I totally recommend it.
