I have not been to this location for a few years now and what a change!

The atmosphere is wonderful with great lights, nice ambient music and displays and attractions.

Nice themed locations around the place and the place felt clean and organized.

A few years ago, I wouldn't have said this is a must visit. Now however if you want something to do with the family or you love Marine life, this is the place to be!

Wonderful place. See sharks, swordfish, rays and myriad assortment of fish in the undersea tunnel. Lots of other sea life too like jellyfish, eels, seahorses etc. Definitely worth a visit.

Underwater World was a great day trip, very informative, and very friendly staff willing to answer any questions.

Parking is a nightmare though, very few car parks around the area.
Upon exiting you will be pressured into buying a photo book, show any disinterest and the price suddenly drops but forcefulness increases.

A nice place to go with little kids especial in the summer to get away from the heat. It is worth if your local or come up on holidays to get a year pass. You can only really stay for 2 -3 hrs even with the playground.

This was the second time I have visited here. The first was about 6 years ago and I was disappointed. It hasn't changed. Too expensive for so few marine creatures. No more than an hour to see everything.

Great place for families and kids. You can learn lots of interesting things about the life in oceans. You can also see a lot of different animals or can dive with sharks. Nice for a day trip. There is a bus stop. If you are coming for Brisbane I would recommend to take the car. It takes ages to get there by train and bus.

We had a swim booked with seals but due to the water quality on the day, it had to be cancelled. They were fantastic though, they offered us entry into sea life anyway at no charge and a behind the scenes tour. Was a great day and will gladly return.

It's a nice family day out if you want to be undercover all day, down fall for toddlers in prams and walking, they can't see anything in the tanks unless you pick them up and show them as the tanks are up high (recommend leaving the pram in the car) The tunnel of viewing the sharks and rays had an awful smell of stinky old damp socks. Lastly there are no maps of Sealift around to put you out of Sea Life, we did multiple circles trying to leave the aquarium.

Awesome place for both adults and kids. Totally worth coming back again and again. My kids love it and they learn so much about sea creatures and at the same time experience great adventures. Hats down to staff. Always helpful, smiling and doing their best to keep the place as is. Will surely come back again! Keep up great work guys! You're worth it!

We were a little dissappointed at this visit due to the exhibitions that were closed for updating, it felt expensive for the amount we actually got to see.
Also the parking was terrible due to the amount of tradies taking up parks. We brought friends a voucher to go, but hope they can wait till the new things open so they are not dissapointed also.

I did the ocean ranger full day program with my friends and it was so much fun cause you get to watch two seal shows/Go behind the scenes with pro diving instructors/feed stingrays and baby oceanic white tip sharks/help people in the touch pool out front /sometimes swim with the seals or do SDX which means SHARK DIVE EXTREME!!!!!!! so cool couldn't do it though any way l would definitely recommend this place for a holiday for the kids !!!!!

Very well set out with plenty to see and do. My 6 year old daughter had a ball. Would have been 5 stars except for the cafe inside which was expensive and out of most of their food except hot chips.

If you are in the Sunshine Coast area and have a few hours spare it is worth taking a trip to Underwater World. Primarily geared at kids and little ones it has enough of a fascination for a short trip. The highlight is the seal show with an opportunity for a photo shoot with a talented seal. More shows would certainly keep you there longer, but it is none the less a fun quirky place.
