We have been visiting Sea Life as its now called for at least 7years. Over this time the place has changed dramatically, unfortunately for the worse. Yes they replaced the turtle enclosure to penguins but they have also removed the large freshwater tank they had. Price's are high and some of the walk through areas are tacky to say the best. Hate to say many negative things but it just mt thoughts. Undoubtedly the best attraction is the rescue seals, they are very well trained and obviously looked after well. Get the turtles back and try to make it a sensory exhibit for school kids get those dark passages fixed up with
displays and I am sure it would be a whole lot better.

It was really good experience with my family. We spent 2~3 hours including watching feeding penguins and seal show. There was 3 photo spots and big aquarium. Only bad thing was no restaurant or coffee only little snack shop.

Been a few times over the years sad that the otters were no longer there. I think the photo idea is great but i think $39 is way off the mark of a reasonable price. The photo alone should be sold for about $5 to $8 anymore and i think its getting too steep. I would think $5 is better than putting the picture in the bin. Over all still a great place to take the family. Pay online before you go and take snacks and drinks for kids.

Been at least 10 years since i have been
Took my wife my daughter and her 2 sons along
I was not disappointed and the two grand kids loved it.
Good to educate the kids about all the rubbish and plastics in the ocean and how to help with the environment.
The seals were great and i was impressed with the whole outfit.
Well done.

Great for the kids. The seal show was great. Online Booking are cheaper than in person at the desk. Parking is not great but if you get in early you will be fine. Spend the whole morning walking around with two three year Olds. The cafe served up nice coffee. Great play area for the kids next to the cafe.

Oh the jellyfish, so jellyfish-like. I went here as a child and took my own daughter for her birthday. It's outdated and the food is overpriced. Bring your own snacks. Why they removed the travelator, I'll never know. But lucky for "Sealife", the jellyfish give it extra points.

Love this place and worth paying the cost. Its a best place for your kids to entertain and educate them at the same time. It has a huge collection of the sea life with variety of fish that include shark and jelly fish. The seal show is the major attraction among everyone. A recommded must do in Sunshine coast.

Great place for the youngins, great atmosphere and vibe, great, friendly staff although the prices are pretty high it's understadable for a great venue. The tunnel and the bio life is amazing. Would recommend!

My two children had fun at the exhibits. There was a diversity of species, but not too many of each. However, there were too many areas with things to buy with the 2 gift shops, people at the shows spruiking photos and toys and various little rides/claw machines littered throughout the place. My oldest was constantly asking for things that she saw all over the place, which was distracting them from the actual underwater creatures. It felt like a bit of a money grab. It would likely be fine for families with older children as they would be past the wanting everything stage or those with children too young to ask for everything, but if you have kids that are in that wanting everything stage, prepare for being asked for a lot.

We enjoyed a great day at Sea Life last Tuesday. We found it easy to find our way around and the penguins are super cute. The seal show was a treat and we enjoyed our lunch. It was the perfect time to visit outside of the school holidays as there was ample room for everyone. I was disappointed we didn't get to see any turtles and think it is misleading the photo pack contains a photo of the visitors with the turtles when this isn't true. Overall we had a great day and found the staff to be very friendly and the information sessions very informative.

We went on school holidays and the aquarium was packed (to be expected) but the parking was a nightmare.

Once parked and through the long line up to gain entry which doesn t separate prepaid from on the day tickets, you are ushered through into one of the most densely laid out family exhibits I ve ever seen. It s dark and narrow and some prams we re trying to go both directions and jut flat out couldn t fit.

Seal show arena is terribly humid and the show was great but hard to sit through. Staff had left signs out saying it was closed which was confusing. There is always a tonne of add ons in a place like this though selling photos was aggressive to put it nicely.

Jellyfish area was mirrored for effect but confusing to actually walk through given it was dark.

When comparing to Sydney aquarium and Melbourne it s just average.

Beautiful experience for the whole family. Seal show was very cute and informative. We learnt a lot about seals and especially the seals that reside at Sea Life. My suggestion would be to try not to visit during school holdidays as it was so packed in places it was uncomfortable and you didn't get to enjoy the whole experience with people constantly pushing past you and running into you with their prams. I would go again though and recommend for a great, fun day out!

A not too expensive way to spend a few hours. They don't have many larger sea animals (which I think is a good thing) and the seals they have are ones which could not be rehabilitated.
They have also got Aquarium displays that arnt the usual standard fish. Like seahorses and jelly fish.
Not ready to give a full 5 because it is a bit small, there could be some more exhibits. Even if they arnt live e.g.. prehistoric or deep sea life.

I was gifted a free family ticket. This place actually worth spending money on if you want to take your kids to somewhere cool and educational during summer. Not a lot of variety as I was expected but I was not disappointed too.
Their fish tank is absolutely amazing!!

Came here ten years ago and it was Great, came again today it the whole place is a run down cesspool! I didn't think it was possible to have such a run down dump with such rude staff to still operate! Avoided at all costs, you'll get better value visiting your local pet / aquarium store. Absolutely pathetic!!

Waited 20 mins at the front of the queue whilst the two attendants fafed around printing passes then they stamped the people's hand for entry???? A good way of limiting numbers going through i suppose. Can't say what the attraction is like, we walked away.

Took longer in the car to get there than actually spent inside. Bits and pieces to look at but mostly not a whole lot on offer to do. Perhaps that was the time that we went (first school holidays after covid restrictions) but we walked away feeling pretty disappointed and for the cost you pay to get in it just really wasn't worth it. Such a shame because we were really looking forward to taking our little one there for the first time.

We took our grandchildren to sea life for the day and it was wonderful. The 4 children are aged from 13 to 5 and all enjoyed their experience so much they talked about it for days after.
All exhibits were well presented and informative. The staff were helpful and well informed. The gift shop had something to suit all budgets.
I recommend it for a good family day out.
