Okay, so I don t know how to start writing this review but people had told me that getting married to someone from Pakistan would put me into the very difficult position of applying for a visa. I had also heard that many people s visas got rejected which made it very stressful for me. I did a quick google search on where to find the best solicitors (as one casually does). I then came across Migration Lawyers and saw their success ratings. The only downside was the solicitors fees (as it s on the high end). However, paying the little bit extra in the short run is much better than losing a lot more (and I mean a lot more!) in the long run. Migration lawyers were very supportive. They had given me a break down of what documents were exactly needed (and it was very clear). My solicitor (Abdul) was very proactive in answering my queries (calls and emails). Once, when I was unable to get in touch with him, I contacted the head office and they helped me out straight away (that s the good thing of going through a big firm). Moving on, my solicitor wrote a detailed cover letter for me which I sent off with the documents. Then, the wait started but it happened within the 12 week limit! (and I didn t pay extra to speed up the process) My husband has now got a UK Visa :) Can t wait for him to come over... thank you so much Migration Lawyers!

I cannot praise UK Migration Lawyers and Sunil enough. His attention detail and excellent support throughtout our appeal of the Home Office's decision to not grant my husband an extension to his visa, made the whole process more tolerable. We now have my husbands visa and I can truly say this would not have been possible without Sunil.

So we started a process of a adult dependent Visa application almost 18 months back. No one in South Africa who helps with VISA applications was able to assist with what seemed like detailed experience. Further investigation showed that this VISA is not that easy to obtain and the burden of evidence was really not known to us. So I managed to get in touch with UK Migration Lawyers and the first phone consultation made it clear they were familiar with the process. It took a while to get the application in as their required list was quite long, and COVID delays. Over 200 pages were scanned in at the Visa center in Johannesburg. We contacted UK Migration Lawyers after my partner was held and questioned by UK immigration. We spoke with Aisha Bi who was friendly, professional and reassuring. She spoke us through our options with absolutely no pressure to instruct the firm. The following morning, after his entry had been denied, we contacted Aisha again, not knowing if it was not too late to do anything. It wasn't. Aisha worked extremely fast, understanding the urgency of the situation (we only had 24 hours until he was going to be deported) but stayed calm, kept me and my entire family calm, drew together all the key facts of the case and connected us with our solicitor, Amara Ahmed.

Amara arranged a zoom to discuss the details of the case. Amara was friendly, personable and professional, taking her time to understand our case, our complicated relationship history and why this had led us to give slightly different dates for different events. Some of the things we were talking about happened in 2009! Amara contacted immigration immediately and began preparing my partners representation whilst my family and I gathered the additional evidence she needed. We first contacted UK Migration lawyers after my UK visa application was rejected as we first just tried online ourselves not realising that the UK visa process is difficult. We re a same sex couple and my partner is British so we thought at least having the British connection it would be easy. We were so wrong. So we called UK migration lawyers from when we were living in China. We were a bit skeptical at the start as we just did a google search and have also heard about so many scamming companies etc. They arranged for us to be interviewed over the phone and said that they could take on our case and this is where we handed over the money.
