This is the 2nd week I have waited in for their agent to come and measure up for carpets and the 2nd week they haven't bothered to show up or even have the decency to call me. I have ordered carpets from them before as find paying weekly a great help, although I have to say the quality of these carpets have been poor for the amount they charge. Steer well clear of this company I will be from now on

Placed an order and paid a deposit but no goods delivered and no communication what so ever, but yet the have the cheek to take money from my account which i had to cancel.
Simply ripping people off.
Its a con.

I ordered a carpet 2 months ago. The agent who came to see me to begin with did not come the day he was supposed to. Well today my carpet was due. Got up and moped all my floors at 6am so they would be ready. Well no carpet has come. They even rang me Friday to remind me. Cheeky sods have even taken my first payment before I've got it. Well I've cancelled my standing order and tomorrow they will get a earful.

Was given a delivery and fitting date for my stair carpet for Friday 27th May. Was told to take up the old one, which I did waited in all day and called 5 times to confirm they were definitely coming out that day and every time the assured me they were going to be coming out to fit and guess what no one turned up. Went all weekend with no carpet on the stairs and 5 children running round the house. Called first thing Tueaday morning and guess what was told they didn't know why the fitters didn't turn up. Was given another day for fitting and told I was a priority. Again I called to confirm they were definitely coming and 4 different phone calls and guess what still no one came. I now don't have a carpet on my stairs and the company can no give me a valid reason why they didn't come. I am so angry and mad as I took up the old carpet expecting a new one and now don't have a carpet on my stairs. They have all my personal bank details and wanted me to keep paying. But as soon as they messed up the first delivery I cancelled my standing order and contacted the bank to inform them what had happened. They now owe me a carpet and I will be going to trading standards and if needs be the police as this fraud. Stay away from this company they are cons and do not deliver and still willing to take your money. STAY AWAY FROM UK HOMEMAKER!!!!

After waiting 2 months for a bed to be delivered, this morning I have canceled the order after being fobbed off so many times. I have been paying the weekly amount and the company are now refusing to pay any of my money back!
After a phone call to trading standards and emails from BBC's watchdog, it would appear that they are breaking several rules from the Consumer Credit act 2013 of distance purchasing.
1, they never sent any paperwork via the post of my 14 day rights which means this extends to 1year 14 days. Therefore they cannot legally withhold my money.
2, Consumer act on distance selling states that all goods must be received within 28 days. Which they have failed to do.
Therefore they have no legal right to keep any monies paid to them.
Anyone else finding themselves in this situation, please do contact trading standards and Watchdog. They are extremely helpful. Although don't expect much help from UK Homemaker as now I have raised my concerns to them, they are not answering the phone to me!
Absolute con artists and have no scruples!

They don't even deserve at 1 star. They are a unreliable company that have rude staff in the office. Waited four months for my blinds to be fitted.. didn't end up getting them in the end because they took so long. So discided to get vinyl... was supposed to be delivered 1 day and I'm still waiting for them. Ridiculous!!!

I have had 2 previous orders with them and service has been very good. My washer. Broke so I ordered from them again it has been 9 weeks since my order was placed and I still haven't received my washer I think this ridiculous
