The school was good. I liked their huge library and their creative statues, but the school seemed to big for me and easy to get lost in for freshman. The tour we had was pretty fast and tiring. What also bummed me out was that the Book store closed pretty early and I didn't get to buy anything :(

I went on a field trip there for my AVID program, and my 6th grade AVID teacher went there as well. It honestly is an amazing school. The trees, everything. And the Gazelle library is amazing! I plan on going there when I'm heading to college.

A great place to learn, visit, and work! Be sure to visit the hub of campus life in the Price Center, but don't forget to explore all over this sprawling gem. Check out the public art pieces that are part of the Stuart Art Collection.

I would like to thank everyone who was apart of my surgery and after care. The men and woman that took care of me were the best they all care more than you would know. Again thank you to everyone that helped with me.

It's hit or miss with professors. Way too many students and little resources. It's impossible to find parking or even catch a bus since they're too full, so a 5 minute drive turns into minimum of 45 minutes. Scheduling sucks since classes mostly cluster around very few slots. The only perk is the beach, but you can probably get that easily elsewhere. I regret picking UCSD over my other options.

The Jacobs School at UCSD is a world class Engineering School. I have hired 100 UCSD graduates, and they have done better than the Cal Tech or MIT alumni that I have hired. Unique among public schools, UCSD competes with the best universities in the world, and the alumni have gone on to distinguish themselves in many disciplines.

Location: 5/5. Ocean view on the west, mountains on the east, park in the middle, desert to the southeast, forest to the north.
Weather: 5/5. Unless you like snow.
Dorms: 4/5, if you get them. It's college, not a hotel. Housing is good for a college. Housing is poor for a normal human life.
Food: 2/5. Suck it up freshman year, then plan to get food from the many surrounding markets afterwards.
Education: 5/5. Make the most of the many award-winning professors.
Research: 5/5. As with education, surely this depends on the field you're studying.
Social life: 5/5. If you couldn't find social life within a year of being here, you probably didn't care enough to try.
Art: 5/5. There's a house on an engineering building, a lookout point at the southwest corner, a bear by the engineering quad, multiple statues and sculptures around, and "Violet V forms" which I honestly don't understand but hey, it's art.
Parking/transportation: TBD. They're constantly revamping. Maybe they'll find a way.

Your college experience may vary.

I hate this hospital. Staff is extremely slow. They won't call you or notify anything. IT take multiple days to get hold of nurses. Doctors are mostly off so you have to deal with nurses.

I am don with US Lajolla hospital. Complete waste of my time.

Unfortunately the whole campus is on the same official street address, so navigating through the campus requires using UCSD's custom map.

Having been a student at UCSD, I enjoy returning here to roam around and see my old haunts as well as Explorer the new buildings and the Stewart collection artwork the campus always seems to be in a state of construction, and this visit was no different. As one of the top research universities in the world, the University of California at San Diego campus offers programs for the community which provide high levels of critical thinking and knowledge.

Very fun environment. Place huge, you can have nice walk around the campus. Their library is the best place, 8 floors tall structure built in a shape of a spaceship kind of a thing. You will have best view of the campus from there. UCSD also has a nice Thai food joint and in their Price Center you will have different kind of food joints. Vivid place with people from different culture.

Parking is a nightmare for students and visitors. Visitor parking has increased from $20 for the whole day to $30 for a whole day and they now charge weekends as well. Student parking permits are just another way for this school to steal more money. Parking is not guaranteed it's all gone by 7am. You're forced to park off campus if you can find any. Dining halls serve the same food each quarter, there is no variety and to top it off the food is often bland and overpriced.

Tomorrow June 16th is the 2018 graduation ceremony of the school students. The campus is very lively, with a large number of family members from overseas participating, and there is a huge crowd.

I absolutely loved studying here at The DR Seuss Library with a diverse student body trykt interested in learning in The mid 1990s. All i Got was a lousy psychology degree but Im commited to learning technical subjects on my own and with Im also planning a worldwide trip to study. I want to get on The news. I had The Best time with my roommates at Warren. I want to learn and be self taught on a deserted Island with no distractions. The 1990s was already late in The game in terms Of significant innovation, a terms being a Real innovato r. Im very interested in anthropology now since i have so many questipns. I Think We nede to study Technology in our Daily lives for The Benefit Of full concentration and gratification. The facilities are modern and Its a pleasing environment in which to learn
