It's hit or miss with professors. Way too many students and little resources. It's impossible to find parking or even catch a bus since they're too full, so a 5 minute drive turns into minimum of 45 minutes. Scheduling sucks since classes mostly cluster around very few slots. The only perk is the beach, but you can probably get that easily elsewhere. I regret picking UCSD over my other options.
