I came in with left kindey hurting, They did one test I waited and the nurse came in the my discharge papers mean had a attitude said " I have your paper work" I said what no one has came in to talk to me. She went to go get the Doctor who told me it was a lumbar strain! I'm so pissed paying all this money for the mean staff. I think they will let you die before they help you!! They don't care to help you just drug you up and send you on your way. I'll never go there again. Medical field lost all respect from me they don't care about you at all. Don't ever go here find some where else to go!!

To all of you complaining that you were in the ER ...

To all of you complaining that you were in the ER waiting for hours and poeple were taken in before you, even if they got there after you:

1. The ER is NOT on a first come, first served basis like McDonalds! They took those people in before you because they were worse off than you were. There are also ambulances that come in, you dont see all the behind the scenes action.

2. The reason that you have to wait for hours to get results from any test is the same as #1. The people who are worse than you need to be taken care of first. The heart attack patient or the stabbing patient is more critical than your broken toe!

3. At least 50% of you who go to the ER, should be going to your doctors office. It is called an emergency room for a reason.

So stop your complaining! Be grateful that there are people willing to listen to your complaints, and heal you hurts. And pray for those that go in before you, they need it.

The nurses, aides, room service staff are the absolute greatest people I have met in my life. Their compassion and care are over the high level I know all people in these professions display everyday. We are blessed to have them care for our loved one as well as our family.

Poor, very poor, extremely poor customer service. In order for me to get a D.O.T. physical all I needed was a doctor s signature & a list of my medications. I called internal medicine at 8am and was told to expect a call back. No one called. 2:30pm I arrive, there s no physician that can help me. Front desk told me to travel to Urgent Care in Cherry Creek area to get a doctor there to help me. Urgent Care said No go back to the main hospital .
Main hospital tells me there will be a 7 day turn around for the signature on this one piece of paper that a nurse could have taken care of in 2 minutes. This isn t my first time in having an issue with this hospital.

Thanks for saving my life just to ruin it! 20 grand for an overnight stay? When all I needed was a prescription for an antibacterial infection?
Thank you so much for hitting me with this 7 months later.

The worst hospital experience ever.Extremely unsatisfactory services received. I pray the surgeons clinical skills are much better than the the blatant descriminatory disregard and disrespect for selective familes. No personal update on the surgery was given, inspite of repeated verbal request. No phone or text updated messages received, even though I was at the surgery check in waiting room for more than 5 hours. It was beyond unprofessional.

I've been treated at University of Colorado Hospital for over 20 years, and I could not be more satisfied with their care. They have performed several surgeries on me and have saved my life on more than one occasion. I find the doctors and nurses to be extremely professional and caring, especially on the surgical ward.

Unfortunately I have been there many tims. They are always trying to do the best thing for you, from staff to the head of Neuropathic Everyone was very nice they took care of me for a total of 3 months in the past.
And they listened to Everything I asked about, if they did not know they found out and answered my questions. GREAT food all was well prepared and they knocked on the door and came in vary friendly. I ate almost everything on the menu, and fish tacos were
Was the best I ever had.

The service that the attending nurses and doctors ...

The service that the attending nurses and doctors provided, was top notch. Keep in mind, that the hospital and other UCH clinics are teaching institutions. This doesn't always mean that you will be seen by a doctor with experience, but that you may be seen by a first/second year resident. Also, because this is a teaching institution, their rates are considerably higher than anywhere else. You will receive two separate invoices. One from the UCH and the other from University Physicians, Inc. Again, I'm not complaining about the service, just be prepared to be seen by residents and also pay out the rear. Example: I was seen by a resident, UCH bill was $300 and University Physicians, Inc. bill was $189 all for general doctors visit. They also billed through the senior doctors MD, so that insurance would pay it when I wasn't ever seen by the senior doctor. Just a warning! Great service, crooked as any other.

If you are suffering from mental health issues, you should avoid UCH at all costs. Please seek help if you are suffering or thinking of hurting yourself, but avoid UCH!. The behavioral health staff filled me with additional guilt, shame, and despair and made me feel even more insecure and unsafe about my situation. In my opinion they are incompetent. Trust me, they are not there to help you!! I was NOT treated with the compassion and care that I needed. I was treated by the behavioral health staff as a BAD PERSON vs. a person who has a mental health disorder/crisis in need of help and treatment. They were more interested in enforcing their policies and filling out paperwork, and were not interested in actually helping me or making me feel safe and secure. Again please seek help if you are suffering or thinking of hurting yourself, but AVOID UCH FOR MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES!!

I worked there temporarily as a travel RN in the outpatient urologic oncology clinic. That clinic was one of the worst places I had ever been. I worked very hard at fast paced. But the charge nurse & manager didn't appreciate it, even though they recognized it. They still talked bad about you (not realizing I heard them). A lot of immature behaviours and self importance and self entitlement attitudes. Management is terrible. Truly one of the worst places to work !!! Very disappointed since I travelled thousands of miles from East coast to work @ UCHEALTH.

My daughter gave birth to a little baby boy in Saturday morning and I must say that the nurses working in labor and delivery are amazing as are the midwives. My daughter wanted an all natural birth and not once was medication pushed on her and when she thought she couldn't do it, every single nurse in that room would tell her she could do it and how strong she was and they encouraged her with not only their words but their actions too. They were nothing short of amazing!! Truly the best of the best and I couldn't be more grateful... When they say there are angels loving amongst us, they are talking about these nurses... Thank you so much for all you do....

Make sure you do not get doctor hoyte or the nurse Emily in the emergency department they are very rude and almost seemed as if Dr.hoyte was pure racist after a 12 and a half time spand in the ER for my elderly uncle after getting a kidney transplant and complications with it which is what brought him to the ER the doctor came into the the room 1 time at 330 (my uncle got there at 930 am) with a very nasty attitude he either doesn't like his job or doesn't like dealing with black people. Anytime anyone comes I would be sure to ask that you not get him unless you want ill treatment.

THIS UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL'S HAS LOTS OF PROBLEMS, C...

THIS UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL'S HAS LOTS OF PROBLEMS, CONTRARY TO ITS POPULARITY. SOME DOCTOR'S ARE MEAN AND VERY INSENSITIVE. THEY SUPPOSED TO BE UPDATED ABOUT THEIR PATIENTS BUT THEY ARE NOT, EVEN THOUGH THEY HAVE "MANY YEARS OF EXPERIENCES". PLUS, THEY WILL MAKE THEIR PROFESSIONAL RECOMMENDATION (ABOUT THE PATIENT'S TREATEMENT) BASED ON THAT "NON UPDATED" INFORMATION. THINK WHAT CAN HAPPEN IF THAT PATIENT IS IN CRITICAL CONDITION!!

IT ALSE SEEMS LIKE SOME DOCTORS DOES NOT CARE MUCH. WELL THEY HAVE A FEW GOOD DOCTOR'S TOO. THAT'S WHY THIS HOSPITAL IS STILL RUNNING.

SOME NURSES ARE LAZY AND CARELESS & IRRESPONSIBLE. FORTUNATELY, THERE ARE SOME FEW NURSES WHO ARE REALLY GOOD. AND WILL TAKE A GOOD CARE OF YOU.

OVERALL, I WILL SAY THIS HOSPITAL IS GOOD FOR NON-COMPLICATED PATIENTS BECAUSE THEN ONLY YOU WILL HAVE A GOOD CARE HERE, WHAT YOU HADE EXPECTED.

HOWEVER, IF YOUR CONDITION IS COMPLICATED OR CRITICAL THEN YOU MAY TRY A DIFFERENT HOSPITAL. OTHER WISE YOU CAN DIE HERE. I MEAN DO NOT DEPEND THAT MUCH ON THIS HOSPITAL. THEY ARE NOT WORTH IT.

THEY ALSO BILL VERY HIGH FROM PATIENTS. IT IS BECAUSE THIS IS A UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL. :)

Went into the emergency the other day with my dad his wrist was very swollen and he was in a lot of pain. We got treated very bad. When we first went in the lady at the front had a bad attitude when asking us questions. Then when we went into our room got told two different things. The doctor said that he had liquid in his wrist and that they would have to take it out but ended up just leaving it in then said she would schedule an MRI for the next day and left the room. A nurse then came in and said there was nothing wrong and then let us leave. We asked about the MRI and he said we would have to go to our primary care doctor if the pain continued. It s been a couple days and his wrist is still the same. The doctor just prescribed ibuprofen and discharged us. Then the person at the discharge desk also had a bad attitude. Wasted $400, left with ibuprofen and didn t get the help we were looking for. Felt uncomfortable and discriminated. Staff is very rude.

Worst experience, ER too slow.

Worst experience, ER too slow.
I was in so much pain and they wouldn't treat my pain until my husband told them to give me some pain medicine.
I was there for about 2-3 hrs, waiting and waiting, crying in pain, I was seeing for maybe an hr or so.
And I got this ridiculous bill.
I received a call to make a payment, I owed around $500 and they wanted me to give two payments of over $200, I requested to get lower payments since my husband is the only one working, and they didn't accept that.
So now I'm getting letters that they're suing me! That's insane

My son was seen in the ER. The resident read the CT one way and my son came home and had a multitude of tests. I tried to get the actual films and could only get voicemails. When we finally got to see the report with the radiologist interpretatio she basically negated everything the resident diagnosed my son having. I don t understand how they didn t call us to let us know the resident misread the CT results! If you miss something on a scan they called to let you know, what happens if they over read it - shouldn t they let you know!!!!
It was a lot of unnecessary extra test and anxiety. Also, trying to get the actual films was a nightmare, you only get voicemails.
When we finally got to see the report after a radiologist read it, she basically negated everything the resident diagnosed my son having. I don t understand how they didn t call us to let us know? If you miss something on a scan they called to let you know what happens if they over read it, they don t let you know!
It was a lot of unnecessary extra tests because if the resident interpreted of the C-T.
Doesn t the attending in the ER look at it? Never mind, trying to get in touch with them! Beware, what an a horrific experience!

My daughter went to the emergency room due to severe vomiting and diarrhea. The staff nurse and doctors were totally unprofessional. They not only did not treat my daughter but provided maltreatment. All because she advised the nurse she managed a Medical Marijuana Dispensary. The nurse told her marijuana was her problem and treated her with disrespect. Doctors spent less than 3 minutes without examining her and left. The nurse actually threw her blood and urine samples in the trash in front of her. Discharged my daughter without an examination or diagnosis. Paperwork stated gastroenteritis (stomach trouble). Google the Reviews on this hospital and you will see what I mean about the poor treatment there.

We currently have a family member in the ICU Burn Unit. The nursing staff is unprofessional and horrible. To see a family member being treated with no compassion what so ever is heart breaking.

This facility needs to take notice of this and hire a nursing staff that likes to do their job which is to help people.

Don't believe the 72 hour turnaround time on their website. I went to UC Health for a COVID test because their website says they have a 72 hour turn around time. I decided to go with the $100 test from UC Health instead of going to the free testing because of the turnaround time. It has now been over 100 hours and still no results. Save the money and go to the Pepsi center for free. The people administering the test were very friendly.

Sad to say, but UCH makes the VA look like Nirvana...

Sad to say, but UCH makes the VA look like Nirvana by comparison.
Need to talk to your doc? It won't happen; no one will patch you through.
Need to talk to a nurse? Sorry, your call will get patched through to a call center, and you don't get to talk to a nurse.
Frustrated that after weeks of calling no one will get back to you? Want to leave a message for the patient advocate? Sorry, they won't answer the phone (ever) but their message machine says they'll get back to you "in three business days" translated means "when we get damn good and ready, but don't hold your breath."

Then the patient advocate message says "if you need assistance call the front desk and they will help you." So, you follow their instructions but the front desk phone folks say "sorry, we can't transfer you to administration or to a doctor, all we can do is transfer you to the call center."

Then, lets talk about actually seeing a provider. After you call for weeks and weeks, the call center will transfer you down some other rabbit hole, and you can get an appointment in, say, about two months. If you can't make that appointment, you might as well resolve to the fact that you will die of old age long before you get to see a provider.

Then, in the breathtaking possibility that you get to see a provider and you've waited the requisite number of months to get in, the doc will order "tests." (read: pathology). The turnover in the pathology department is so bad that when they run test that Best Practices say you should have results on in less than 72 hours, UCHealth misread that, and you will get your tests, maybe, as soon as 72 days. You will probably have died from your disease by then.

If you do actually get to a human being (only in the call center, forget about anywhere else) do not expect human kindness. If you're feeling bad, or frustrated, or you're really sick, you will NEVER hear them say "please" "thank you" or "I'm sorry you're going through this." The few people actually allowed to talk on the phone there apparently have been instructed to be as curt as possible to reduce the desire of patients to ever call back.

In short - if you are required to go through UCHealth for any reason, make sure your will is up to date and that you have written instructions for your family and loved ones about what you want them to do in the event of your death, since you will probably die many months before you get hold of a human being at UCH.

Good luck.

Only reason I m giving two stars is that that the nurse was quick and attentive. Dr didn t bother to look at note prior to consult in ER (very big things on there), and made himself look like an ass. We have now contacted this billing department by p...

We have now contacted this billing department by phone over 57 times. Our insurance requires specific, itemized receipts. We have been lied to ("we emailed it"; but it never came and "we dont email. We only mail"; but it never came). We have tried to visit in person, taking hours out of our day and today, after having one of their "itemized" receipts returned from our insurance with a denied response, we spent hours on the phone with these people and no one bothered to mention their new covid adjusted hours. I guess when you work for a hospital that bills thousands and thousands of patients, you aren't really essential and only need to work about two hours a day. The uncaring incompetence is overwhelming. We now have to pay for a procedure covered by our insurance because they really really don't care. We have switched doctors and insurance and will never give this hospital another dime of our money. I'd suggest you keep looking for a doctor and hospital as well. This is either illegal and unethical or simply completely negligent. Either way, if i could give zero stars or take away stars, i would. For now, I'll just say, "see ya, UCH"... Except I'll die before I'd ever see you again.

HORRIFIC from the second we entered the front door and interrupted their fun.
1. The "Eye Room" was FILTHY
2. No hand soap in the room
3. TV going
4. Person who did daughter's IV never gave us her name or title and left blood covering the torn up arm of the chair
5. Staff was laughing loudly, clapping - so unprofessional
6. The medicine my daughter needed should have been in that room. After 1 hour we still didn't have it.
This place is a disgrace.

I was there last year for a brain surgery for my epilepsy. The staff were awesome and we're there no matter what I needed, their nursing staff In the epilepsy wing made me feel like family and my drs actually cared about what I was going through and how I felt. These people made me laugh during the rough times and we're there during the times of fear of what I was going through. Their the reason I've been epilepsy free for over a year now and the reason I go back to see them rather I have an appointment or not.

While i have had a gray experience with the staff I have to say I m removing all of my family from the entire branch of UCHealth. They have the worst customer service when it comes to billing EVER! All other places have no problem getting bills to us but UC somehow always gets lost in the mail . I called several times asking for itemized copies and they sent it but nothing is ever received. They are perfectly able to reach me with junk mail but never bills. I have to hunt down the bills so they don t end up sent to a collector. I had a payment plan set on automatic payment for a big bill we had. We got a letter form a collector today. No idea why. No attempt to tell me if the payment didn t go through or if we suddenly had another bill show up that wasn t part of the payment plan or what. No contact from billing ever. No bill or letter in the mail. Nothing. 9 months of prenatal, one hospital birth, and postpartum done with them. I have received 3 bills in the mail, all the others I had to call them to see what the hell was going on.

I have reluctantly gone here too many times; hopin...

I have reluctantly gone here too many times; hoping the experience would change. This place is incompetent; full of arrogant doctors, PAs, and other staff that have no empathy, not to mention, misdiagnosing you and most importantly causing you more harm in the end. DO NO HARM is a term that's thrown around but not practiced, not understood and done in so many ways, physically, physiologically and if you wan to separate it out, emotionally and mentally. Unless you are having a heart attack, stroke, were shot, stabbed, beaten, having so called "acute" problems like a rupture, bleeding out, AMS...forget it! The outpatient system fails to address your needs (esp as someone who has been on the other side of the coin, working as a PA in IM/Primary, UC, inpatient Hepatology)...especially if you become the dreaded "chronic pain" patient they like to label you as or stigmatize your as a head case, in need of psychiatric intervention if god for sake you push to get help. Chronic pain and the chronic "invisible illnesses" that go along with these and the resultant depression and anxiety are a HUGE problem in our country. Not being dealt with or managed on an outpatient basis and when acute exacerbations arise (although you've been suffering alone without help and mismanagement or ignored...labeled psychosomatic or malingering) and your only option is to go to the ED, especially when your neurologist sends your there, or your primary is unavailable for weeks and the nurse tells you to go to the ED and you coalesce...it's no different. UCH is a big shiny place that likes to profess all of these accolades i.e. billboards, aka marketing are everywhere) in specialties (talk about cancer and other research/treatments that are already well funded therefore the university gets NIH and other grants; or publicize "touching" stories that don't tell the whole truth (I won't name specifics or names to not hurt these people as I believe they lucked out...but their story is a mixed, scandalous one and yet they (she) is viewed as a saint, a hero. It's all marketing and BS. Where if the devotion to research for people like me and so many others that have no access to care; no providers in the state of Colorado, yet most of the west for Ehlers-Danlos Syndromes, Small fiber Neuropathy, POTS disorder, Dysautonomia, a few among many that lack awareness, research, funding and therefore treatment. So we're left to suffer from the consequences these genetic, acquired or deemed idiopathic disorders reek havoc on our bodies with no treatment (only "symptomatic" which often results in side effects, advise events, exacerbating other conditions, poypharmacy, and frankly don't usually help let alone stop disease progression. But we have no one that understands or chooses to do learn more; help their patient by doing no harm and treating us although we may LOOK fine. Are we choosing to only practice tertiary, sick care in medicine anymore? Treat and street, is that still the motto of the ED...seems to be. Let it be someone else problem until they come in too sick anymore, have a stoke or dissection, falls with injuries and concussions, let alone ending their life in some manner or form to do loss of hope, lack of help. So prior experience....one instance, I avoided going in bc I thought it was a UTI but trying OTC did nothing; I waited &got in to someone at the UCH famMED /+UTI...waited hrs oral ABX but became febrile, 103+, chills, terrible back stomach, pelvic pain (hx chronic pp) so mom in town, a nurse, insists I got to ED...I go to UCH bc they have my records on file. Mind you, I just had 2 surgeries AND a PE (pulm embolism) a month earlier dx'd at diff hospital.Informed them of as well as trial of leftover leftover oxy & percocet (from sure) didn't touch. What did they do... oral tylenol, no IV pain, no work up (W hx of GU issues & aforementioned). I get a resident asking REZ ?s & dx PID despite no sex for years due to PP:.tons of ABXs: cz sevGI prob; all STD/even yeastALL NEG.Pt Adv/ED defended him. They don't listen or care;DON'T GO HERE!

My mother is currently at university. I myself am a bit of a helicopter kid as I have worked in health care for my whole career. I am very involved in my mother care. The team on the 10th floor has been amazing to work with. From the doctors who have been working diligently to help my mother to the nursing staff who have taken my 50 million calls per day. Rachel, Rory, Austin, Petra, Hailey, and Molly have all been so fantastic with letting me know what is going on, very attentive to my mothers needs, helping in anyway they can, and such positive attitudes. I cant say enough about them. Thank you for all you have done to care for my mother.

When checking in through the Security(metal detector) a short stocky hispanic woman said I couldnt bring in my bag because it displayed a medical marijuana symbol. I guess she assumed there was drugs in there, I told her you can go ahead and look its just my chargers (which I would never bring into a hospital in the 1st place)she said "You can't walk in with that HOMEBOY" she was rude overall and when grabbing back my stuff this lady grabs all my stuff with open hands(no gloves) and drops my watch face first instead of just putting down the basket and letting me grab my belongings, honestly it made me mad very unprofessional security not even to mention all the gossip. The Doctors and nurses were 100% professional

Crazy to write a review so late, I'm one year overdue for this. Someone close to me had a life saving surgery here. This hospital and the medical staff are beyond hero's. Less than 1 Star! When my Daughter & I started going to UCHealth it was touted as being the best Colorado had to offer, however they "teamed up" with the worst Hospital in Colorado, Parkview from Pueblo! Suddenly they "lost" my records from Growth on my Thyroid, denied me proper follow-up care (No MRI) after being brutally assaulted in Pueblo & taken by ambulance to Parkview & denied any care despite not even being able to walk! Had to go to C Springs for an MRI which revealed several Fractures from being thrown down so hard by a man from Texas! UC Health is not a good place to go any longer, seek Not For Profit Hospitals because Parkview drug UC Health into the dirt but they went willing!!

I have had numerous experiences at multiple departments here over the past 7 years.
I was part of a medical study at this hospital as I have a condition that has no known cause/cure at this time. The medical study staff were incredible and I met even more of the surgical staff having over 10 surgeries within a two year time span. I've also met with dermatologists and genetic testing staff, who all have been very warm and welcoming.
Any negative experiences I've had are par for the course with medical facilities, such as needing to arrive early to find parking and having to book appointments a month or two out. So long as you have those expectations going in, you will not be disappointed with your experience. Also, working for a health insurance company myself I know that many of the billing issues are not the fault of the hospital but are usually just miscommunications between the hospital and insurance company.
I enjoyed the experience at the hospital so much I've switched my primary care doctor to be within the UCHealth system and have never been happier.

Enjoying the view as I wait for my appointment at the WISH clinic. A wonderful group if caregivers that meet all women's health needs in a 1 stop shop location. Convenience alone would probably keep me coming back. See having excellent staff and providers is icing on the cake.

I came in for a HEAD Injury. I needed staples so they numb me up and LEAVE! Only to return after the numbness had worn off and stapled my head!! These are the dr's and nurses of our future????!!! Walk around chewing gum, blowing bubbles!! I'm not in the medical field but I don't recall ever seeing anyone working in an er chewing gum and blowing bubbles!!! There is NO urgency what so ever. Even when an ambulance arrival was announced, no one moved. Not a single soul!! I'LL NEVER EVER RETURN TO THIS HOSPITAL NOR WILL I LET SOMEONE I LOVE BE BROUGHT HERE!!!

How this hospital is ranked as the best in Colorad...

How this hospital is ranked as the best in Colorado to deliver at in various health reports is beyond me. I have delivered two babies at this hospital. My latest delivery was in July. Both times I had very young and very inexperienced "labor" nurses. All my labor nurse did was monitor my vitals. Not once was I helped or encouraged through a contraction. Not one hand on my back or you can do this by the hospital labor nurse. It was bizarre. My labors were through the night and very challenging. My midwife provider (not hospital staff) however was excellent and did help me through contractions I just was not able to see them as much due to their other patients. I ended up getting an epidural each time because I couldn't cope with the pain. In addition to inexperienced nurses the post partum beds were just AWFUL. They are airbeds and deflate several times through the night. I complained to a nurse and asked for a new bed but was told all the beds were like that. After 3 days in the hospital and as a new mother you can imagine how sleep deprived I was when discharged after a middle of the night delivery plus the beds deflating several times a night in addition to waking up to nurse a newborn. I felt so terrible upon discharge I will be looking to have our next baby elsewhere and not recommending this hospital to deliver at.

I gave only one star rating not because of the quality of care, but for :

1. Inadequate number of physicians It takes months before one is able to schedule with an specialist.

2. Some outdated and backwards procedures. My wife gets an infusion every 6 weeks at a cost of over $5,000 per month. She used to call for the medication an hour before the appointment, and by the time she got to the hospital, it was ready and the procedure started. Now, after getting to the hospital, she has to wait 1 to 2 hours before the medication is ready! Their excuse: because a patient didn't show up and the cost of the medication, they require the patient be present before ordering the medication! In better words, all the patients are being penalized because of an irrissponsinle one!

We have decided to change from UCHealth to the National Jewish hospital.

My daughter has to make repeated trips there because of brain tumors and spinal tumors. She has been treated better there than any other hospital. She has been hospitalized at other hospitals nearly 80 times in her life. After being treated here, we will never go anywhere else.

Very nice hotel some staff are great but most are snotty and unethical. Been in transferred from another ER for surgery my hospital can t perform I been sitting in here for 3 days keep getting bumped from having to get placed for my surgery procedure. Sucking th money billing my insurance. All bout making that $$$$. You call for a nurse and it takes 30 min before any one shows up to your room the longest I waited was an hour! Like your not important! 11pm IV going off cause it s completed waking me up beeping like crazy but they don t care cause it s not bothering their sleep! And then they come in and look at you like your inconveniencing their life! Seeing this I wouldn t recommend anyone to come here if their life depended on it!

I would recommend this hospital to anyone. I had epileptic seizures and a couple of years ago I was referred to this hospital. They seen what another neurologist seen and I went from having 38 a month that we knew of to not having anymore of those epileptic seizures after my surgery. I still drive 8 hours to see my neurologist. I will be checking into the hospital on Halloween for a E.E.G. Monitoring. The Dr's, nurses and staff are very nice and always helpful. My husband and I are very greatful for this great hospital.

Totally sub par care. The entire process is about how much money they can squeeze out of you and your insurance company. Every day 2-3 patient ambassadors will visit wanting you to say everything is just lovely. In the meantime, there will be a lack of communication with your doctors, errors made by nurses that the am doctors refer to as dangerous, and a generalized attitude that you re 150 pounds of meat they just need to keep quiet. I m not stupid enough to think hospitals are hotels, but if you re in Colorado and there s any way you can be seen at Skyridge, I strongly suggest you do so.

Absolutely horrible team of docs and nurses workin...

Absolutely horrible team of docs and nurses working in the emergency room here. Went in with severe chest pain and the lady that walked me back to my room didn't even look like she worked there, she had a backpack on with large coat and had all key cards to access all doors in the back. She told me to go in room 10 and sit down, never offered wheelchair or had any concerns about my current state of health it seemed.

Once i was in the room i had a nurse come in then a doctor in which i then explained everything of what was going on in clear detail. Doctor had selective hearing i could tell because she asked the same questions after i explained everything and acted as if she never once heard some of the things i told her. She then came up with a plan of action in which i was satisfied with but then 5min later another doctor came in asking all the same questions. I could tell this other doctor was also not listening carefully either. He leaves then the nurse comes back with a GI coctail. Felt rushed to drink it as he kept pushing for me to just get it done. I even told him I have a bad gag reflex and that I would need a minute to get myself ready to slurp down a big gulp of some very horrible tasting stuff.

Once I drank it down he left the room and after about 30min I was feeling worse with chest pains near my heart so i went to the door and informed him. He just kinda shrugged his shoulders and told me to wait patiently. I went back in my room and heard the team of doctors and nurses joking around and laughing. I waited about another 10min and told him I wanted my discharge paperwork so i can go to another hospital. Doc came up to me and I asked her about her plan of action and she said it was up to her supervisor. I then told her that I was wanting to goto another hospital since they don't seem to take chest pain seriously enough. She just said okay have a good one and off she went.

It was 4:30am on a Monday morning and the hospital was super slow. If they let severe chest pains go this easy I wouldn't dare go there for anything. It was by far the worst care ever received there and I certainly know the difference of good care versus little to no care.

I am very unhappy with the inpatient process. I pay a good amount for my insurance each month, and the service I receive is sub par. I have been with this hospital for over 10 years and the changes for inpatient services are just not what they use to be. You have to pay a co-pay just for doctors to take one look at you and refer you somewhere else. They don't touch you, don't order any tests. You could save my money and give me a referral questionnaire, refer me through email, or on the phone. Once you are referred to a specialist it can take MONTHS before you are able to get in for a consultation, let alone any treatment or additional tests which take more time. Having a job and trying to take time off for all of these little visits is a nightmare, and if you have anything aggressive or life threatening , good luck trying not to die in the time that you are waiting to see a specialist. The patient care standard here is very low, especially for customers who pay insurance specifically for this hospital. I use to refer people to this hospital for their services, now I tell them to go with other options. There needs to be a board or someone on this issue quickly because it is a huge liability. If paying patients are waiting more than a month for care that is a problem. This should be a simple standard of care, and customer service .

This is the worst place to go for care; the staff are very unprofessional. I went to the ER this weekend after being in an auto accident. The staff that admitted me were very impatient and rude. I've been to the ER twice in the last 4 days and both times I was treated poorly. I will never go back to this place. The campus looks nice but the staff surely isn't. I do not recommend this place at all. There are certainly other hospitals in which the staff genuinely care about their patient's.

Anytime I have been in either outpatient or inpatient care the medical and support staff have always been wonderful. I have seen Neurologist all across the state. I live hours away from them and I drive there for all my neurological care. It is worth it! I recommend this hospital to everyone.

Came to ER a week and half ago, (I had some symptoms of a UTI so I originally went to planned parenthood they found a pelvic mass no Uti) was to I needed to be seen by a Dr or go to ER if I still had pelvic pain.Dr's here sent me home with medicine for a uti which they also said after testing my urine was negative. They also did an ultrasound which didn't show anything they said the pelvic mass must have been a fibroid that magically disappeared from Monday being found to Thursday when I came here. Needless to say I took the medicine they gave and still have my symptoms but have no insurance and don't qualify for any help I can't afford to go be seen anywhere right now. Would not recommend they just get people in and out without actually helping you.

If I could give them a zero, I would. The hospital in general was nice. Anyways, I went to the emergency room, and was told if I pay my bill that night it would be a total of $49. Only beacause I received a cicp grant. Keep in mind this was last year. I received a summons in the mail for court for a $1400 bill. I called the hospital to get this taken care of only to get run around for 6 days! They proceeded to tell me that this is impossible, and I owe money.Everything on my bills were wrong on top of that my address, where I lived, and they told me theyve tried to get ahold of me but my phone was disconnected. Funny since the landline has been in service for 20 years!!By the grace of God I found my receipt!!!....oh and what do you know...now they can help me. Note...always keep your receipts!
